I think it is okay to join such group but don't 100% believe anything that you get from that group. it will be better if you can analyze the market by yourself so you can get better position in trading. I am not an expert in trading but maybe some altcoins market are manipulated by some group, if you trade with small capital just follow the market. but if you talk about bitcoin, I am not sure if this market is easily manipulated anymore. Today in my local exchange bitcoin price volatility is about 1,6% its only happen in less then 24 hours. in my opinion if you do daily trading then you don't really need that signal group as long as you do the technical analysis.

Free signal group, you can join. If they later ask you to pay money or luring you to pay money, leave the group.

If it is a pay signal group, avoid them and do not join. If they can trade and make money from trading, they will not ask anyone to pay.

Not always, most that I have experienced are using this for their own benefits, but that's for other coins besides Bitcoin, but I still don't like it, way better if you can just look for a professional trader and buy his strategy course with trading tools available, I have seen few friends that are into traders doing this instead of going too deep into trading by learning everything about trading.

Most of the signal trading platforms are actually based on altcoins, especially the scam ones. Bitcoin trading isn’t that easily manipulative like in altcoins. The best thing to do aside learning it your way is to join a group of friends who have more knowledge and experience than you then you learn from their own tips but not necessarily copy trading. Reading through there strategies might actually help you to understand trading faster but that is if your friends are actually going to genuinely help you.

The general signal groups one joins are mostly baits to lure you into investing in some pump and dump coins. When they see a rise increase they would withdraw their funds and leave you in with worthless shit coins/tokens, this is common in free trading groups. As for the ones that charge for subscription, I would advise one to run away from them.

What do you think is right - they can't be trusted. And base on what you observed, they are useless groups and just taking advantage of newbies for their innocence. There is no reason why we have to keep them and follow their fake signals, perhaps, they are fooling us for their greediness and scammy activities. That is why I'd never encourage anyone to join them even if they are free because honestly, it was not totally free, and later on, they will ask you for some money. It was a trick and we don't let this kind of activities to continue.

Truly I do not really give thoughts to most of all these trading signal groups because most of them are just fake and does not really reflect what trading is all about. Just as you have said, some of them copy signals from other groups they are not sure of just to entice and convince others to hold unto and demanding for fee it.

However, the so called Crypto trading signal groups sometimes project scams luring their members to buy it when in the real sense they know what they are doing but because of greed and selfishness, they take some commission an deceive their group members to trading of such scam shitcoin. For me its a big NO for signalling group. You can only join it to get an idea about coins but never follow there advice to buy or sell any coin. There are lots of stories you can find here about people losing there money to these groups. The other dark side is that you not only lose money but you also don't learn anything for future trading. If you take steps on your own either you win or learn something. I recommend everyone to go for long term investment and only invest small amount of capital for day trading. For long term trading you don't need any expert advice.

I wouldn't waste time on that. Some traders are good, but they can also make mistakes. But while they can afford to make big mistakes, their followers might not be so lucky. Also, there can be impostors making their own groups to scam people. Joining a group requires analysing how fair it is, how successful, how transparent, etc. It can also cost money, of course, which is another risk. Trading is tricky, and one can try to experiment with it or simply hodl till Bitcoin grows. The latter is safer and easier, and I don't trust any groups to follow their suggestions.

It is good to learn how not to need to depend on others for signal especially after you are not new. Join a signal group if you can find a genuine one, but do not plan on staying there.

They do not charge you any joining fee initially but they will steal your money by giving you some signals and make you excited, greedy to buy up tokens for them to take profit.

Paid groups can be scam too. They can be other versions of free signal groups but try to double scam you with joining fee. Very few paid signal groups are legit and good but you must pay ridiculous expensive joining fee. I am sure you will not be able to join those groups if you are not rich and have big capital.

I am talking about Bitcoin signals. Unless the group is connected with mega-whales (very very very unlikely), they will not have an effect on the market price.

If they are giving signals for shitcoins/tokens, yes, they might "predict" some mega jumps/pumps correctly. The reason being, these markets can be easily manipulated with small amounts of funds. That does not mean it will be a profitable endeavour for you, though. The only ones profiting from the pump will be the owners of such a group, the signal makers.

Just stay away from this type of stupid scam-game and HODL.

Not all signal groups are scams and also many signal groups provide very detailed analysis but there is nothing better than letting us learn everything on our own and come up with our own analysis. Because if we depend on those groups of signals and suddenly one day they stop working, we will become more passive than ever. There is nothing better than arming yourself with knowledge and doing things on your own without having to depend on anyone.

I don't completely hate groups of trading signals, as we can also use them for reference and comparison with our analysis and judgment. But never completely trust them because we should know that it is all speculation and can be right or wrong. They are just like us, it's all guesswork, and nothing is 100% guaranteed.

Agree with you dude, there are not guarantee 100% with signal group accurate when predicting some coins price later and I don't interested for joining with Bitcoin signal paid group. But if free for joining could be our reference and make ow research about their coins recommended.  Actually many trader want to join Bitcoin signal group because they want entry on some coins recommended without have to analyze, but many time all coins recommended although from paid group not accurate and they are sharing after some coins raise to higher price above 10%. In this position difficult to earn profit when coins have been up above 10% and here paid bitcoin signal group could make us loss in trading due all coins recommended have been up.

I find that the problem is still with us, if we are aware of the knowledge for any field, participating in anything and seeing them as a tool of discussion can be beneficial. useful, but it is also important to review some groups of signals that only provide bewildering analysis that creates short-term and long-term trends in investment behavior.

Just as oshosondy has said most signal groups are fake. If they are genuine and are using the same signal to trade and making profits, why demanding for signal and subscription fee which is absurd. I have joined many signal groups and I leave as soon as I start hearing the talk or post of paying for signal fee which is not good. I have had a situation where an admin pmed me from one of the signal groups demanding I pay my fee as a member to maintain my stay and continue getting signal I didn't waste my time blocking the scammer.

On a normal, they start that way as you have said then gradually they begin to deviate to another thing which is not the full. After that, they begin demand for fees before getting signal or putting you in a VIP session.

There's nothing wrong with joining a signal group, sometimes you need to try once in a while to get in there and try their signal. I've joined signal groups several times and tried their signals, well I can say that it's not worth it at all, it's better for me to analyze it myself, but some say that it's pretty good, but it depends on which group you join. Usually the more expensive the subscription, the better the signal, but I don't believe that's because the crypto market is more difficult to predict and there is no guarantee that when you pay you will get good signals. But you can try to join the free signal group, who knows you have a different experience, but in my opinion it's not worth it.

First off you have given us the answer why not to believe or join these signal groups!

Secondly, if the the signal group is a paid one, believe it or not the owners of such a group are cashing in on the subscriptions even before they provide a service, and nobody will hold them accountable should you lose money as they too have disclaimers of risk involved with trading and what not.

So when it comes to signal groups, you are better off learning the art yourself and not be dependent on others!!

since you have seen that their signal didn't show the market reality and it moves opposite direction instead then the group is just toying with you. i was surprised also back in the days when they are common and asking a subscription fee.

i used to receive PM from one user in bitcointalk about some altcoins they are going to pump. i don't see him anymore but at that time, he often stays on the XRP thread.

As long as it is free, then nothing is wrong with it. You just see and observe what they are doing and don't get affected by their results because they always show off that they are earning huge amounts, and the next step they will take is open another group that is like a VIP group, which again will attract newbies to join and pay a fee. It is not really useful when it comes to this, which is why it is better to rely on yourself than those signal groups, as they are just after your money and they ain't successful.
