I think I agree and support your statement above. Maybe the general term is quite old in trading in short and at least we also follow the ins and outs and current issues regarding coins/tokens along with their potentials and obstacles. Yes. With a note, not all ends in the rug if investing in many altcoins but this should be done with care and sensibilities.

Even if you rely on accurate information from yourself, it isn't a guarantee anyway. Imagine just how many legitimate projects out there just didn't hit the trend because of how many shitcoins there is in the market. You're free to choose any altcoin, but don't be surprised if it does not pay you back.

About relying anyone to give you accurate info, it depends sometimes since you'll never know what's wrong or right and what's legit and a scam unless you ask someone with credibility then experience investing into one. It's not that easy being solely the only one in crypto space.

As you said there are many shitcoins in cryptocurrency, so you shouldn't pick a wrong coin, it's better to avoid every altcoins and only invest in Bitcoin. There's no such accurate information, except you're the developer where you're have full control to develop your coin. If you don't have a control to develop your coin and only trust the words by the project's team, there's no way to verify and has a chance of being scammed.

That is why is very hard today for those who careful choose their coin to invest before the bull run never falls victim and even if they do I don't think it would be that effective to them to lost hugely. It's always important to be very smart while making investment otherwise we'll end up feeding others with our resources, and altcoin holders nowadays feels more relaxed with their holdings without undermining the risk that may associate with it that is why I myself feels more comfortable with Bitcoin holdings than any altcoin out there.

Not just that, the other mistake is buying on the bull run. I mean, we have a lot of time to buy last year, six months ago, or just a month ago, and yet now many investors are doing a FOMO. It's a mistake.
XRP is on the bull because they won their case against SEC. The other cryptocurrencies are being pulled by that bull thanks to the SEC who also filed a lawsuit against them. Somehow, the trust rating on the coins being attacked by SEC is getting higher and I won't be surprised if BNB will be the next coin to grow in value even if their case is not over yet.
A lot of investors didn't trust them before because of what happened and now they are trying to ride the wave up. IMO, it's a bit late. Now should be the selling point and not the purchasing point unless there's many fools who will do the same but I doubt the whales will be on the same frequency as theirs.

When bull run is fully activated even the none crypto people will start talking about btc, that is when you know the market is in bull run. what is happening now is little price increase which can not be regarded as a bull but it could a sign we are gradually out of the bear season.

You can never buy a better token at a lower price for a bigger pump. Because the best tokens can drop in price by a small amount but then immediately fill up again. In my opinion you can make more profit by trading from a best token but you need to use your experience more at that time.

True, it's everyone's choice to make when to invest and on what project/coin to invest on. For me, the caveat there is DYOR – Do Your Own Research. This approach has saved a lot of investors from getting scammed and the agony of loss. Going forward, I do think now is a great time to invest in Bitcoin. Even if we shouldn't get carried away by the excitement of  a bull season, we should continue to invest gradually whenever a dip presents itself through DCA. Those who bought Bitcoin when it was $17k a few mouths ago are already in profit. I don't think price can ever fall back to that region; at least, not this year.

Basically we also have our own thoughts and when talking about investments that are related to our own finances of course we should have more responsibility in this matter so don't have the thought that everyone will tell the latest project again and again.
The word naive is suitable in this case considering that we want a profit from the investment we make but we have no effort in this case it is the same when we ask whether we will be sure of the answer given? But it's not easy to stay on the right path... I missed many good opportunities over the years because I didn't believe enough or I didn't have the patience to wait for better days. But we all live to learn I guess, and I think that many coins around still have the potential to perform even better in the future, in all ways... starting from the development of the projects itself to gaining more users and making more powerful communities.

You are correct as it's very easy for people to guess whatever tokens and coin they wishes without having to know the risk involved losing money since isn't their hard earned money.

Anything actions or doings without having that proper research and realizations on what are the realistic things that do happen on this market would really be the ones who would really be committing mistakes which

it is really that just that sad that most newbies would really be falling out for this kind of situation because of they do lack knowledge and experience but you could eventually be able to avoid it if you have really just made your assignment on making some assignment about on what are the things that supposed to be done first before taking any further step. The fantastic increases that have occurred in certain tokens, especially new tokens, are part of the hype alone. In my opinion, this is actually very risky because we don't know exactly when these tokens will actually go up and get their ATH. because usually, after reaching the highest peak of the token price due to hype, the price of the token will automatically drop and drop dramatically. And I don't know if I can get back up again or not. So, if anyone thinks that it was part of the bullish era, I don't think it's quite right. because after all, we will usually go through a halving period before encountering a bullish era, and there are several cycles that must be passed. That is true a lot of people gained trust and believe that we are headed to bull run. A lot of investors tends to choose and invest in alt coins even the newly launch tokens and make believe they will earn a good profit upon holding them, most probably the investors who joins the hype are newly investors who had been encouraged to invest because of the possible rate of return. The market is really deceiving because of the volatility, we thought that the buying price that we invested is already low what will happen is it will go deeper, that causes us to be disappointed and tell ourselves what if? We're not in the bull season at the moment and you can observe that with the way bitcoin has been moving sideways and anybody telling you that we're in a bull season is lying to you. Altcoins seasons won't also be coming until we're done with Bitcoin halving as that's when the market becomes more attractive to investors as they make preparation for the bull season that's about to start.
Investing in altcoins should be done with smartness, you shouldn't invest because you feel the bull market is about to start instead you should wait for confirmation so you are sure you're not making the wrong decision. Bitcoin could pullback and all the altcoins goes backwards and causes you losses. Bitcoin isn't showing positive price movement yet so we have to relax.
