choosing alt to hold is actually a tedious one as you need to do your due diligence before you buy one. else, you will be holding worthless coins that you can't even trade in the market.

Gurus dont hold altcoins for long, they manipulate the fries and sell their altcoin bags while still fresh once the uptrend starts and because the volume is large a small change in market price is a huge gain for them and they continue the same strategy with several altcoins specially newly launched ones. Usually people buys in the bull market which is i think bad decision because in bull market short term moneys flows into the many altcoins amd anytime this money could be shifted to other altcoins or bitcoin. Look at some coins prices which soars high in the previous bull market and all are down far from ATH. Sand, Mana, Matic, Sol and many other coins are down more than 2x. investing in bear market is good decision and picking potential coin is also essential because not all altcoins will perform better in altcoins. AI coins could be next hype and I think investing in AI coins is best option at that time.

From my experience, buying some coins today would be a good move knowing that coins are cheap since we are still in the bull market. I personally filling my portfolio now with coins that I like and of course I anticipated that I will make a profit in the upcoming years. I missed my chance from the past bull market and now I don't want for it to happen again, there's still plenty of time to buy coins in the market. I believe that buying before and after the halving will generate us profit from altcoins but the difference is the amount of potential profit. The lower we can buy is the higher we can maximize our profit.

But people do still hesitate on doing so or on simply having those DCA considering that the price is really that low or still cheap but the sad thing that most people would really be that sitting idle and observant and rather on taking up some step they do just simply wait and make the opportunity passes or missed out on which this had been always the case. This is why it would really be that wise on seeing into those past events and happenings about its movement in regarding into its potential not only solely speaking with Bitcoin but also in other coins as well.

The recent cryptocurrency dump is a blessing in disguise for people who wanted to accumulate and is ignorable to those who planned to hold for a very long time. Because despite predictions, many crypto investors say that a bull market is imminent due to the bitcoin halving cycle.
