I am not surprised about the outcome of this research because the LGBTQ+ community is suffering from intense discrimination globally. In many countries, these persons can't even openly declare their orientation. Some laws criminalize any LGBTQ+-related behavior and some of them have been sent to prison because of their sexual orientation. In my country, they live secretly and are exposed to violence. Some casinos will not even grant them access because of the social stigma. Not intending to judge or anything, but isn't it a risk when someone goes against the norms in society to get that thing? like these LGBTQ+ people. They want to melt into society when they understand that most people today do not accept their presence. I'm not someone who is against LGBTQ+,but when they get treatment like that from society, they should understand that most people today don't accept their existence. And rather than protesting, maybe it would be better if they could move to a place that accepts them or maybe they could build their own LGBTQ+ friendly casino platform or circle.

Your opinion is clearly what every well meaning individual in the society should have if we really want a better future for the global community. In as much as millions of people across the world doesn't believe the religious creation that brought human to existence which I don have anything against such people for their personal beliefs, the fact that every other living animal is made male and female should tell humanity that we are supposed to let just two genders exist.

I wouldn't agree with the research about discrimination and harassment towards LGBTQ+  as the basis for their interest on using online casinos. There are lots of gamblers that are not in that category but prefer using online casinos as result of it's convenience, easily accessible and privacy away from the public. And any human irrespective of gender wouldn't wanna pit themself in position of inconvenience.

I also support LGBTQ+ People but they don't have to be isolated, all we need to do is to enlighten people and not discriminate the LGBTQ+ People and treat them like us like gamblers with no intention to insult them.
LGBTQ+ People are good people with have good contributions to society so it's just right that we value their contributions, and achievements and treat them with respect, although there are establishments that cater especially for LGBTQ+ People they should be welcome in all establishments we don't have to isolate them.

I feel that this research has some truth to it because by playing online gambling, people who want to hide their identity or gender can play gambling safely without anyone knowing about it.
But I don't know if people in the casino, staff or the public have shown any discriminatory behavior towards these people because I don't visit physical casinos anymore.
But if these people play in online casinos, they will be safe and can play gambling without disturbance.

I'm bit confuse if there's really criticism regarding in sexuality on gambling since anyone can able to play there as long as you have money to spend. Maybe that research only happen on one particular country or place but I really believe that's not the case on other since money is one important tool to gain respect. If LGBTQ+ people have a lot of money provably he will het a VIP treatment. But if a boy,girl or any sexuality doesn't have money and they go to casino for sure they experience that since they might not welcome to come on that places.

yesterday I went to withdraw a win in a betting center near my house and ... a guy was stabbed not even 50 meters away ....

I never play in physical places for this very reason (safety) and above all after a certain amount of winnings I have to do AML etc etc ... a good gambler don't care about discrimination

I also thought the same thing, how can they be known as LGBTQ+, whether from their behavior or what they use when they come to the casino, I didn't read the article but isn't harassment also got to people other than LGBTQ+?

I guess the behavior remains the same they come to online casinos unlikely to reveal themselves as LGBT+ but I don't know if they do in public chat so many people know.

A good gambler don't get to give a damn about what people opinions are about him. His focus is on the winning cash and as long as I gets my winnings going what people says around me doesn't sink. Though they have already been widely accepted and respected, but sometimes they just asked too much of an acceptance, some of them looks like they want more than just acceptance, they want VIP treatment. Staff sometimes are confused how to address them. Some gays doesn't want to get called "sir" and some lesbians doesn't want to be called "maam". Maybe with these minor scenarios, some of them will overreact as if it's a disrespect and discriminatory remarks.

I am not aware of this but , they should equally treated all person who comes to their casinos because all of them will be their customer they are there to spend money, if they will discriminate someone then it would be a word of mouth of that person complains and they could be boycott not just that lgbtq+ but also to those people who support them. It's a misinterpretation when an LGBTQ+ present himself he wants to be addressed the way he presents himself if he is a lesbian and he is dressed like a man and a man dressed like a woman, I address them the way they want to be addressed and they always make it obvious because they are proud of their preferred gender.

How does that person know they are LGBTQ+? Is it because of the documents sent to the online casino or is there a behavior that is different from LGBTQ+ so there is discrimination against these people including from staff and other users?

I understand that LGBTQ+ is contradictory in some countries, there is still this ban even though LGBTQ+ is very strong in some countries, but I won't comment too much because for me LGBTQ+ is a contradictory gender.

What Op means is offline gambling or physical gambling that discriminates against third genders that may be considered deviant.

I would seriously recommend to anyone who in living in a dangerous place not only to avoid going to gambling houses or small casinos, but also to avoid mentioning anything about Bitcoin and crypto gambling to people who one does not personally know very well.

Here in my country, it is not weird some crooks end up raiding a home in order to seek and steal a handful of dollars, happened to a friend of mine, unfortunately. I had an argument with a follower on Twitter about this LGBTQ thing and he or should I say intended she was saying that society must learn to accept their standard otherwise the people that regard themselves as the norm are not different from racists but I didn't agree with that crap of bull$h!t, racism doesn't is different because people only hate you because of your color which is a thing of delusional people but an LGBTQ want the society to see him as what he likes and want that to be forced on the ordinary people, that wouldn't work especially the adoption of the innocent child, they should learn to live in their dark selves rather than involving minor that is default by brain configuration, they are a potential threat to children because they are innocent and know nothing.

Can I agreed this idea because most of them might not be that free and have this support to come openly to gamble but somehow may be more comfortable and convenient with online gambling where no one harass them or even discriminate against them as I believe some gambling site are very open. Irrespective of any gender they are free to gamble online without being to go physical shops.

In my country there is some harassment against LGBTQ+ people. However, I believe it would be beneficial for them to engage in online gambling as it allows them to avoid potential discrimination or issues they might encounter in an in real life casino.

Personally, I have not encountered any LGBTQ+ gamblers in a casino but I think it is possible that there are many in casinos located in other countries. It seems that acceptance of LGBTQ+ gamblers or people in general is improving in many countries and their situation is generally getting better. Therefore, I believe the issue of discrimination is limited to a minority in certain locations.
