First, you have been in this forum for long to know the right boards to create your topic,  because as far as I know this thread belongs to Bitcoin speculations and not the altcoin board,  so you have to move the thread to the right board to get the right exposure that will give you the perfect analysis and market speculation.

Always be depending on your price target or threshold on which we know that each person does have different goal when it comes to their selling point whether it would be 60k or 100k or more. This is why its really hard to

answer up some questions about price limit or your goal when it comes to selling because it would really be in accordance into your preference or interest.In overall, if you do have plans on having short term bag and long term
bag then its up to yours because there are ones who do make both things on which they could able to see profits in short term and at the same time you are holding for long term but well it would be accordance into
your capital and capability when it comes to trading whether going for short term or long term approach.

Your whole title is contradicting itself. IF you are patient you are not expecting anything happening soon and you need to adjust your expectations indefinitely. It might be months, or years depending how patient you are going yo be but "patience" and "soon" in a same sentence is a premise of a joke.

Imho people trying to make few percentages in crypto haven't grasped the potential of extremely volatile markets. I have seen many newbs making peanuts by day trading alts and btc and people who just forgot they owned alts and made insane profits. New assets need new approaches. Traditional ways and generic trading doesn't necessarily apply here. Or at least people doing that aren't making the most of this scene.

Each person can decide what is the best strategy for themselves, however you talk as if the bull run is already over when no bull run took place, after the price of bitcoin was crashing, a much needed correction happened which pushed the price of bitcoin to the 30k level, and if you want to sell now you are free to do so but I do not see the point of doing this when you can just keep holding your bitcoin and do nothing, and still multiply your profits many times over.

Exactly my thought, in crypto you need to have price expectation and like you did mentioned, you have reach your price expectation but still needed more, crypto space is unpredict anyways, anything can happen and price can go in any direction, so keep your price expectation and take little profit

For me, if Bitcoin reaches $40,000 next month, I will still not sell. Because I have my personal goal and target which is only valid this year and next year.

Well, this interests the OP, I have a question that we need to answer and consider, namely do we all here believe that the price of BTC will continue to rise or is there a possibility of a price correction in the near future? This is of course (besides our long term goals) in investing.

There are not option have to do exactly for investor or bitcoin holder bough on higher price above $50k to $60k, but profitable for holder have buy back when bitcoin drop around $20k and their patience is most profitable. It's near impossible to time the market and that's why I don't want to have a plan of when, all I know about right now is buying the dips, I even pray for more dips to happen because I believe that we don't have the time, the halving season is coming and this year might be the last time to buy at a good price, although a part of me still wants a big crumble in the market, still I don't wait on my hands for that dream to come true, it may never happen, that's why I keep buying already and I will keep doing so till 2024, I am ready for whatever it's going to cost or take.

$100k was the ATH target that I wanted to achieve as well.
I started to buy in gradually and collect the fees from the signature campaign for the long term until the $100k target was reached.

I believe $100k is the ideal target for the next ATH.
Seeing how the Bitcoin trend is recovering and plus next year is the 4th Bitcoin Halving.

Holding Bitcoin for the long term has nothing to lose as long as you buy with money that is not used for other purposes.

No, it's too low even though I bought below that price but it's not our target price of $40K, by selling at that price the profit is not multiplying I want more than that then I won't sell and it's better to stay HODL.

$100K is what I want to see become an all-time price again even more than that I think, waiting for the halving is the most appropriate for now rather than selling at the end of the year now, even when the price has reached $40K I will still continue to buy bitcoin to accumulate this is still below ATH in 2021 so I think it is still a low price.

It is self-evident that patience is a very important factor for an investor in the investment world.
Without patience, the goal of making a profit in investing will not be achieved.

Perhaps there will be some hesitation when the price of Bitcoin is already at $35,000. Doubts will arise at this stage where the choice between selling or not but all of that is returned to each individual to how confident in his decision behind the strategy they use.
