Yeah, you are right; most of those pumps on CEX are sometimes controlled by big investors, although the project owners still manipulate the price by themselves too. Buying memes should be done mostly before they're listed on any CEX like you said, but it's good that you should be aware that meme coins that are not yet listed on any CEX may not also get listed, and your fund will just be a total waste. When I was mostly into Altcoins, I can't forget one meme coin that my friend convinced me to purchase, although it was not yet listed. They released their listing news already, but after purchasing the coin and waiting for the listing date, before it got to that day, the project's telegram group was deleted, and there was no other news from them on any of their social media accounts.

They capture attention and gain massive demand due to the hyped they've made but after that, we can't expect them to grow but rather see them dumping. Come on, don't look rude, maybe what he knows about meme coins he still doesn't fully understand. When talking about meme coins, Doge Coin is also one of the oldest meme coins; therefore, meme coins are very difficult to predict accurately, and I prefer to use money that isn't really used if you want to enter meme coins. MEXC isn't that reputable of an exchange so I personally wouldn't trust their judgement in adding these new meme coins or tokens. They are probably just interested with the trading fees or listing fees if there's any so they couldn't care less if it turns out to be a scam.

How are you going to filter good from the rest? You can't really tell at the early stages. Most of these tokens will likely pump in the upcoming bitcoin halving but that doesn't necessarily mean they're good. I'd rather wait if they will still be active after the hype phase.

Basically, on a non-meme coin we can head on their roadmap, whitepaper, tokenomics and the likes. That mentioned exchange is also not a good choice, so better try popular crypto exchanges if you hunt for gem altcoins, IMO. Gem altcoins can't be found easily, there are many ways to find out what is going on small exchanges in order to find gem altcoins.
