You can pick the first number in 525 ways. The second number in 524 ways. And so on. Getting this part is simple:

(525-0)*(525-1)*(525-2)*...*(525-34)

Also, it doesn't matter if you picked number "a" first, and then number "b", or maybe number "b" first, and then "a". So, you divide it by the number of combinations for picking 35 numbers:

1*2*3*...*35

If you divide the first line by the second one, you will get binomial coefficients.

Your question sounds like a math problem, more specifically Combination. You want to select k items from a set containing n items which is denoted as Ckn and is calculated by computing factorials: n!/(k!(n-k)!)
Your k is 35 and your n is 525.

I think that warning is overblown. If all you want is to process the combinations one at a time and optionally get their length, you could do something like this:

a = set(range(1, 526))
n = itertools.combinations(a, 35) # returns a generator, not a list
count = 0
try:
    while True:
        element = next(n)
        count += 1
        # Process the element
except StopIteration:
    pass
print(count)

With your code, it's not going to damage your device - the worst that can happen is that you run out of memory and are forced to do a hard reboot. Though if you are doing this on a server, then yeah. That's not fun. I've been in that situation more than once  Sad

It is very computationally expensive; can't run it on my device, it kills it. The operation you want to calculate is:

Here is a math trick:
n! = n* (n-1)! = n*(n-1)* (n-2)! = n*(n-1)*(n-2)* (n-3)!
525! = 525*524*...*492*491 * 490!
Now the equation is simplified like this:
525*524*...*492*491 * 490! / 35! * 490!

So we actually need to only compute 525*524*...*492*491 (roughly 35 multiplication) and 35! (roughly another 35 multiplication) then do a division.

Because we have 35 concurrent numbers, it is guaranteed that one of them is divisible by 35, so we can reduce that before multiplying anything. And so on for 34. And then for 33. We can start reduction from prime numbers (or even express each number as a product of some prime numbers with their powers, and then reduce it).

Finally, we can reach a list of 35 numbers, that we can multiply in the end. That also means, we can safely use for example uint32 to store and prepare those 35 numbers, before using any BigInteger type.

Also, for bigger numbers, it is probably useful to see them in some simplified form. Depending on what is needed, it may be sufficient to just know that the answer is less than 10^N or 2^N, instead of knowing every single digit of that result.

With Python, you rarely need to reinvent the wheel because it already has a rich library of highly-optimized functions, including those specifically designed for the calculation of factorials of large numbers. Instead of writing inefficient for loops for repetitive multiplications, you just import math module and receive the same result in a matter of milliseconds. Look at the following console session:

can someone provide FAST  scrypt for generate all posible combinations of 525 , with length 450 ?
The python script that I provided earlier calculates combinations pretty fast since all underlying functions written in C language. It takes around 0.5 milliseconds on my Android to receive the number of combinations, even less on PC and without execution time measurement.

There is always room for more improvement but the real question is how much time you want to dedicate to solving a problem and how much you want to improve. If we go from for example 10 minutes and 1 GB memory usage to 1 second and 1 kb memory, that is an improvement but if we go from 1 second to 0.9 second and 1 kb to 0.5 kb, that is not much of an improvement.

Take the code I posted above, the usage of C# BigInteger in a loop will create a lot of garbage for the garbage collector to collect (due to the underlying array allocated on the heap) hence it not only wastes memory but also slows down the code. But it is a short loop with low number of iterations and the whole thing takes less than a second so spending time trying to fix that is a waste of time.

Now about your suggestion, it has to be tested and benchmarked but the problem I see is that when you say a number has to be divisible by X, that is not something we just know but something we have to calculate that means extra steps or in other words possibility of adding additional bottlenecks instead of optimizing the existing code. Not to mention that division itself is generally a slow process.

I hardly think that it has got anything to do with the cracking of combinations of 256 hash. It has got nothing to do with any sort of cracking. I believe OP just needed a solution to mathematical problem of subset segregation.

I am so surprised to see so many solutions for a single problem. The math subject really seems fun on this thread and I would be very honest with you guys, even my math teacher was not this good to teach us the basic math.

Mind is blown right now seeing that you guys went even further and wrote a script for the same. Lolz.
No wonder, maths is fun but I skipped it. Eh.  Tongue

Basic mathematics including combination which we learned in high school is not going to help you break ECC or solve ECDLP. Not to mention that one could find this information with a quick search in Google since as I said this is basic math. Tongue

My goal is not to break things, but to learn from scratch, how they were created. It is entirely different thing. Knowing that the pair (p=67,n=79) and (p=79,n=67) is the only single-byte pair that meets secp256k1 conditions (and uses a=0,b=7) is not going to help you with breaking anything. It can only help you understand, how those curves are constructed.

The main reason is the curiosity: were you never curious, how n-value was calculated for secp256k1, why "p" and "n" are different, how it was checked that those huge numbers are primes, and so on?

Do you seriously think that all of those things are hidden from the public, and some people here are revealing some secret magic, that was never known? Even more: you have tools for generating curves on GitHub. And after seeing all of that, do you really think some random people on bitcointalk have some secret knowledge, that cannot be reached on any of those linked pages?

I know the limits. And the only consequences so far, was OP trying to use brute-force to handle all of those combinations, instead of using even basic optimizations mentioned in this topic. So, calm down, we are safe.
