I have come across so many topics pointing at teaching children bitcoin why Bitcoin has already taking space of it own as decentralized currency. Do you know that with the awareness of Bitcoin now you don't need to convince somebody to invest in bitcoin, why before you have to convince people to invest, bitcoin is now a choice of investment which anyone who invested will Google out the process of investing through internet direction, I love to say Bitcoin has plant itself with internet dispensation of information.

Your point is duly noted but I think spreading the word about bitcoin or helping spreading its adoption its not only by you teaching someone about bitcoin and its used as an investment platform, there many individuals that are out there doing one thing or the other to either bring the light and clearify the actual essence of bitcoin since it has been giving various negative name so many  folks are actually scared getting involved in it. And moreover its because of this massive works by individuals here and elsewhere and especially this forum here that many people in my region has come to the real thought around bitcoin.

Hmm yes and no would be my response to your statements.
Yes, Bitcoin has a reputation of its own and yes it is part of *some* investment portfolios already.
Yes, you should NEVER try to convince anyone to invest in anything. All you can do is give them some information on the topic. What they decide to do with that information is up to them.

No, I think the foundation and some part of Bitcoin's history should be part of both economics and mathematics in school. Again, it's not about convincing children how awesome Bitcoin is - it's about showing WHAT it is and WHY it does exist in the first place. That's all there is to.
No, I don't think Bitcoin that there is indeed a real awareness of Bitcoin among the average citizens. It's still a long way to go until understanding basic Bitcoin will be on a similar level as understanding basic google-search or Wikipedia knowledge.

Why even convince anyone to invest in bitcoin, or literally anything? There's little to no upside yet the downside is abysmal. Telling people where to put their money in is simply not the way to go.

This. I'd never try to convince anyone to put their money into anything unless they explicitly ask for my opinion. First of all, I don't have a crystal ball and can't know for sure if something will go up or not, and I would feel somewhat responsible if someone invested their money because of my recommendation (even knowing that every adult person is ultimately responsible for their actions).
There are other downsides, if they follow your advise and are successful - they'll come to you again with even higher expectations, and if they lose - you'd be likely to blame as people love to shift blame on anything other than themselves.

That being said, I have no problem in recommending bitcoin as an interesting concept and alternative to the fiat system and show them how it works (and explaining all the pros and cons).

Convincing or giving investment advice to someone is really a bad idea because even with our investment, we are not sure how we can provide advice to others. I would even say they should stay away from bitcoin when someone asks me about investing, but if they are adamant about it, then what I will give them is documentation and background knowledge. The final decision is still theirs.

Admittedly, Bitcoin is a potential investment, but that doesn't mean it's risk-free, so don't give advice to others if they don't have any knowledge of it.

Current knowledge is indeed quite extensive, anyone can get it easily via the internet and do everything self-taught.
But awareness of investing cannot be done on your own because it requires encouragement or good advice from other people.

Especially if you want to invest in a crypto platform like Bitcoin, it will require a lot of balance.
They are young children who may be aware of Bitcoin, but will they have the courage to make the decision to get into Bitcoin.
It needs a strong push so they can get in and start buying bitcoins.

Those individuals who lives in villages have no information about it so telling them about bitcoin will provide them an opportunity to earn but they should also be aware of the risk factors which they can learn through watching videos from YouTube and search it through Google.

The moment you start trying to talk someone into finding reasons why he or she should invest in bitcoin, they start playing defensive and looking for reasons not to invest, get the feeling that, you’ve got a stake in what ever deal that is to come and that is the first step to ruining everything.

I hope you understand that there is something called social engagement, this phrase may look small but has helped in many ways. The fact that something is is used already by group of people doesn't mean there shouldn't be a social engagement. Look at this forum for example, it one of the best practices in f social engagement where we talked about other things about gambling, economic, altcoins and exchanges but when the world Bitcoin Forum, you already know that they are talking about the real Bitcoin and that's how social engagement work.
