Nothing out of the ordinary tonight was my thought when entering picks yesterday. Unlike Spanish and English teams, German counterparts at the top appear to be relatively fit and whole, so I went with the favs. And a litany of draws is what we ended up with ha!

I have that I didn't trust Freiburg last GW so now I've decided to restore my faith in them, I hope to be rewarded.

Did not stand a chance with my ticket last night. Missed 4/4 football games including 2 Bundesliga ones where I went with favorites. Better to loose like this than on one goal in last game on the ticket like it happened for me the day before

Same here, had 1-2 win for Freiburg in my prediction as well but Freiburg still managed to concede 2 really stupid goals very late in the game.

Position 7 is quite nice, congrats for it, I'm way below on position 13 but still many rounds to go. 
Gamedays like recently are a good sign that anything can be possible, especially with Dortmund being that inconsistent.

Yes, biggest concern is here that Leverkusen might decrease performance. Recent games of Leverkusen (except Stuttgart maybe) have been excellent and I can imagine that keeping that performance for the whole season might be difficult.
Last year in Premier League, Arsenal also dropped the ball against Man City late in the season. Hopefully, Leverkusen won't get a similar outcome.
As far as I know, Leverkusen is having many players if Africa Cup. Hopefully, no one will be injured and Leverkusen can deliever a fight for the title against Bayern.
But at least, some key players will be missing some games.

I was already missing Bundesliga. Time to return with full intensity with all leagues played + AFCON pool. Maybe it's worth to expect some strange results after winter break, but maybe not from Bayern.

RIP, der Kaiser. Offcourse that I haven't saw how he played and didn't saw how he worked as managers, but it was one of the iconic players, afterr all, not many defenders have won Ballon d'Or

Definitely, interesting round today.
Leverkusen had a really hard time in Augsburg but scored the winning goal in 90+4'. 
While being the better team by far, Leverkusen really struggled to turn one of their big chances into a goal. Of course, Augsburg is known to have a very good defense at home and it's always difficult to beat Augsburg at home.
Leverkusen's Boniface missed the game due to an injury, probably a sign how some missing players (more will miss due to Africa Cup) can be a decisive factor.
Next week, Leverkusen will play against Leipzig, which lost 0-1 at home against Frankfurt today.

I'm 32 entire points behind the leader, that's about 10 correct scores -- more or less -- so it's really a small margin. Half a game per round. Or shall we say an average of 1.5 points per Game Week.

Freiburg keeps letting me down. I lose on a lot of draws I think, my least favourite outcome to pick.

Yes indeed, 24 points was also a massive jump in the table for you and I am slowly but surely losing sight of the top players. Could need a few rounds with 24 points as well! Making up for 26 points in the remaining 17 points isn't impossible, but it's tough as the competition isn't sleeping here. Looking a bit better for me in the German pool, but not much.

I saw that casperBGD and efialtis are the only two players with 3 max matchday points. What's crazy is that efialtis didn't play on 6 matchdays! Played 11 and won 3, if he kept that average it would have given him 9 matchday wins, ugh.

Freiburg, still no Doan, but I'm taking them again for the win, despite bleeding me out every match heh. Leipzig is interestingly the slight favourite but I have faith in Alonso to do something special. Bayern are a tasty 20/1 prize to bet against, so I'll make sure to have a few satoshi on that

Interesting that Leipzig is the slight favorite here as their current form isn't suggesting that they should be in this match. But I think this goes back to the fact that Leverkusen is missing several important players for this clash with Leipzig. But still they could not beat Bremen and they lost the game at home against Frankfurt.

Whereas Leverkusen's performance against Augsburg was stunning except for the fact that it took them so long to score the decisive goal. But 76% ball possession and 24 shots is quite a good indicator that Leverkusen is ready to go for the game against Leipzig.
