FWIW this bug only affected the best difficulty being stored to the non-volatile memory. Nothing to do with shares

The display didn't match up with the pool data on best share which is what I was referring to. If you only look at the display for best share or the UI then you really wouldn't have accurate best share info. I am glad to see this fixed!

Fingers are crossed and all systems are a go! BTW... The "LuckyMiner" LV06 which is a complete rip off of the Bitaxe Ultra can also make use of the newest firmware version. https://github.com/skot/ESP-Miner/releases/tag/v2.1.4I found that the OTA update works fine. Just make good and sure that you do the esp-miner.bin first. Wait at least 20 seconds after the "working" disappears. Restart and then do the www.bin and also wait for 20 seconds and then restart again and you should be up to date. DO NOT RESTART WHILE YOU SEE WORKING ON THE SCREEN OR 100% YOU WILL BRICK THE LUCKYMINERS...

Nothing to do with shares yea amount of 32 bit buffer overrun bugs in our new UI was fun tracking down... btw hope you guys have simulated a very high share in your firmware...early miner firmware was notorious for bugs like this but in the actual shares, so the miner would crash/submit an invalid share for an actual block find...

I can confirm this will work with the LuckyMiner LV06 units as well but you must be patient and let the upgrade complete. If you try to leave the page while the units say working you very well may brick the units!
If you upgrade esp-miner on your lucky miner it will set the stratum user agent to Bitaxe and nobody will be able to tell you're running a shitty knockoff

Hello, I have a question, I have bitaxe ultra board 204 sw v2.1.8, I can't mine anything except btc, I tried new projects with low difficulties, bch, microvisionchain, ecash as well as other coins that use the sha256 algorithm with different set difficulties , I get many rejected shares or cannot connect to certain pools and I would like to know where I am wrong, what is missing from the equation, why does it only work on btc and not on other currencies with sha256 algo even if I set the same difficulty as btc?

I am curious is the media blitz over a bitaxe finding a block has resulted in a tidal wave of new orders or not. I’d imagine that’s better advertising than could be bought and there’s a lot of folks dreaming of their own Bitcoin lottery win today. Anyone in the know care to share if this news did result in a tick up in sales?

Maybe not. At least in my opinion, this equipment remains a bit expensive if purchased ready to use.

Yeah most of the time, a ready to use bitaxe is sold ~$150-$200 online. Still cheaper than Gekkoscience ASICs, but indeed quite expensive. I hope that the lucky miner can have the pride to have assembled the bitaxe that found his block himself

From what sellers tell me, the uptick in sales has been significant
