Looking to buy/sell crypto for cash in Kyoto/Osaka

Are there any people selling and buying btc or other crypto in person in Kyoto or Osaka? Or just travel in Japan and plan to visit this area?

Price is flexible, but always should be fair for both parties.

If there is anybody I would really appreciate it. It's so hard to buy crypto in Japan without using an exchange. You can't even register at an exchange when you don't have a long term visa. Now I am still waiting for my application to go through so p2p is my only option here.

Of if anybody is here, or knows somebody that is, it would be very helpful. Would pay around 5% or something for the troubles of course. Can give preferably US$ but Japanese yen also possible.

Cant you just use like Wise/Payoneer/PayPal. Or just do an international bank transfer? (I understand this can be risky, but if you trust somebody maybe he can help you)
Or have they block everything, because you can receive bitcoin it must be a way to pay the seller, just try to think outside the box.

Maybe you could try using decentralized exchanges like Bisq, Robosats or p2p trading sites like Agoradesk, Localcoinswap, etc. and create your cash offer there.
This will be more visible than just opening bitcoin topic, but maybe you have some other local options for bitcoin trading in Japan, or with Bitcoin ATM's.
PeachBitcoin is another great option but sadly it only works in Europe currently.

Even localbitcoins didn’t offer p2p meeting anymore after that.

Trust me, I have been through all possibilities here and finding someone to buy from p2p is my only chance , even though it’s kind of illegal, at least for Japanese . Maybe it’s not but I think it kind of is at least. Of course if you are a foreigner tourist or whatever this is something different .

My credit card provider peaced out this year so for the moment all I have is cash. I know it’s hard to find someone here, even google can’t point me to some kind of Japanese crypto forum or whatever . That’s why I at least tried.

Japan is very strict. Everything must go through an exchange here .
If I had other possibilities I would use it.
Been in Japan and Taiwan for the past 7 years and because of losing my card provider I have no way of purchasing crypto online now, as I now stated several times. So also a site like bisq doesn’t help me when I only have cash at the moment, no online banking whatsoever.
After I got my new visa this situation will all change but for now I am out of options and can only use p2p I cash.

I keep trying to tell you that Bisq is not a website, it's a open source software you download and install, than you have the option to make your own offer to purchase Bitcoin with CASH in person.

Anyway, I researched more current Agoradesk/Localcoinswap offers in Japan and I see there is a option to by Bitcoin with gift cards (nintendo card, g00gle play, apple pay, etc.), that means you can purchase them with cash in some local shops in Kyoto/Osaka, and then exchange this gift cards for Bitcoin using p2p websites and Tor/vpn.
If I was in your place I would first test this with small numbers to see if everything works fine.

I used gift cards several times and I am not indian tech support scammer
They are perfectly legal if purchased in local shop, you are not buying them from unknown internet guy.
There are services like bitrefill.com and TheBitcoinCompany that made whole profitable businesses with gift cards and crypto combination.

Furthermore, all of these people offering this are not located here, so if anything happens, they cannot even be found.

Their location is not so important with gift cards, if you find good offer or make it yourself.

I have no idea what this error is, but maybe you have old Apple computer with old operating system.
And don't expect to find offers in JPY there (I checked myself), you would need to create it yourself, but Bisq is great tool to have.

These might look like offers for Japan, but every single seller is in Europe, China, America, and so on. I checked them all, every single location.

I am not supporting breaking a law anywhere, but let's be realistic, at one point it was illegal to own a gold in America, to sell alcohol, to shop in Sunday, to dance to the National Anthem, to vote if you are a woman, etc.  
Now I researched a bit and I found current weird laws from Japan, but I don't know if this is true, they say it's illegal to make your own beer there, it's illegal to beg for money, and you can't show your thighs in public...  
It's almost impossible to make p2p trading illegal.

And in this society people mostly follow the rules, also because of the 99% conviction rate and harsh jail conditions, that's no joke, you can see it on youtube.

Well they accept btc as a payment, but they can't sell btc.

Also, I love in Kyoto, we just moved away from Tokyo area, haha. Actually 1 guy that lives in Tokyo wrote me, the worst timing, as usual.
