No more just limited to investment and commodity assets.
The profit thing is what we are looking for in the bitcoin/crypto space if there is no profit then there will not be many enthusiasts let alone mass adoption then this will not happen, but behind that profit there is certainly a positive value that bitcoin is considered an important asset today and the future.

I myself am about adoption, can not be done for any payment in my country only as an investment asset, the rest I can be privacy with the assets I have, including in buying other needs on a website that accepts bitcoin but if caught by the government then this is against the law.

Bitcoin is law free, and also a good way to double your money or even make more, Why the hell wouldn't I invest in Bitcoin because of these? I can't keep money in the bank without worrying about inflation, my money is now safer with Bitcoin than the Banks, so yea I am into Bitcoin because of privacy life style that I have conveyed at a very young age, and also to make more money will storing my money with Bitcoin, it's win-win, the freedom is like breaking free from the law.

Do you know that we are being slaves to the governments and those who are in power? We work hard 24/7 to earn the fiat money and these government people get free money (for themselves) by printing the fiat currency. Due to inflation, the money we earn loses its value over time. There is inequality in the distribution of wealth in society and this holds true for every country.

Bitcoin solves all these problems and this is my reason (other than to gain profit) for the widespread of bitcoin and also making it a global currency worldwide.

When you low fees it can be argued because when making transactions with fiat currency which is a traditional currency in other ways round, I may say that fee of bitcoin transaction is not lesser than fiat currency, but we should consider is the aspect of faster transaction between traditional currency and cryptocurrency and especially bitcoin, we can say that bitcoin transaction is intercontinental kind of transaction and it be that bitcoin transaction might be delay due to network challenges, but I will testify that bitcoin transaction is faster than the one of fiat currency. In summary bitcoin can be transferred from one country to another country because the fees are same in any country, if done a mistake by portraying these points of mine, you can add your suggestions to correct me.

Having complete control and decision-making authority over your own hard-earned money is the best feeling in the world today. The flexibility, anonymity, privacy, and security it offers are compelling reasons for people to accept and use cryptocurrencies for monetary exchanges and savings. People talk about reduced transaction fees, but I don't think it's a major reason to utilise cryptocurrencies. For me, the entire ownership, privacy, and security it affords is reason enough to adopt it.

Everyone has their own reasons.  :-)  Mine: the coolness of the tech when I read about it a bit over 13 years ago, freedom and the ability to protect oneself and the products of one's life from authoritarians and statists the world over whether they are fascists, socialists, monarchists, communists or anything related.  The privacy, pseudo-anonymity, uncensorability etc all are tools against those who believe they have the right to the products of your life merely because they want it and you have no right to your life.  It is an evil philosophy, espoused by many over the millennia, including the US democrat southern, slave-owners and it is tried the world over today just using more flowery language.

(Obviously, in 2023, profit has become a nice thing although in 2010 many people weren't as focused on it as now, they just liked the tech.)

Firstly,  crypto currency offered me a way out of the financial crisis I was in at the time and I must say that it is s solution to prying eyes and noses.
I have gotten to the stage wherein it affords or rather accommodates my transactions irrespective of where I am.
If not for the fact that government sees it as a competition to CBDC, I would advertise its success to my neighbors, friends and family.

Do you think adopt Bitcoin as a digital asset is something wrong? Do we must adopt it as a currency only?  

I assume there is nothing wrong to adopt Bitcoin for any purpose. Although Satoshi created Bitcoin for a digital currency, he probably won't blame us to adopt is as a digital asset. As long as it can be good for Bitcoin and its future, no problem for adopting it as a digital asset and take profits from it. With the potential profits from Bitcoin, it even makes people more interested to adopt it. I my self adopt it for investment purpose as well. Since in my country we can't use it as a currency, we can use it as a digital asset at least.

I'm here main for profits since opportunity is wide on cryptocurrency scene and see a lot of potential that we can gain more from here since many people are now doing some business in related with cryptocurrency. Maybe my second reason is the technology since aside from banking system or any other mode of payment overseas we can use bitcoin as direct payment to anyone who use it especially if we need some service to do or even send money easily with less fee to our relatives.

If asked what the reason is for being in the crypto space at the moment is certainly for profit.
I don't want to be a hypocrite by just saying because of the technology, the advantages that Bitcoin or some other crypto investments provide have made me and my family able to survive.

The word adopt can mean quite broadly, adopt in its own use maybe by making transactions using crypto, but not for transactions that are used daily.
People getting into crypto have many goals, but their main goal is of course to profit from the fluctuations in the price of Bitcoin and other cryptos.

The reason why I adopt crypto currency is because it provide liberation,  opportunities,  it stand as true symbol of democracy and also solve some issue cause of by fiat currency which make it something everyone that want something more in the future ought to adopt.

It all started accidentally and my early day thoughts were upon the earning it provides. Later understood how good is this against the banking. Further on exploring more about bitcoin understood the need of bitcoin. Now the importance is much upon investment, trading and gambling. OP, if you ask me, I would say that everyone who has adopted cryptocurrency is for the purpose of making profit. The only difference between crypto adopters or investors is that we all have different goals that have been set to archive with the profit from our Bitcoin (crypto) investment. I believe you know that before anyone even thinks of making an investment, they already have the feeling that they will make a profit from it. What some are not only certain about is what they will use their ROI to do. Maybe your topic should have been "the goal that one has chosen to archive with their Bitcoin ROI.

I choose cryptocurrencies, specifically bitcoin, I could not compare this currency with the rest, especially for the purpose that it was created, this asset gives me the freedom to a world where you are not controlled by your assets, where you can use them without having to ask permission to withdraw an exact amount since it exceeds the limits established for said transaction, in addition to the fact that the security that bitcoin provides greatly exceeds that of banking entities. All these aspects are what make me choose it, and of course the possibility of saving and increasing those savings considerably... the profits obtained when using BTC cannot be ruled out, in this society money is what moves the world, if it not  possible  have a sum that allows for stability, we would have to live in constant anguish... can you imagine getting old and not even having a way to buy food, now that you have the opportunity to invest in this technology to be able to have life insurance when you can no longer work, you must make the most of it.

I can tell you're putting your faith in Bitcoin due to the freedom and security it provides. However, the extreme volatility of Bitcoin should not be ignored. Its volatile price movements imply both enormous profit margins and the possibility of catastrophic losses.

People in search of money, that were introduced to cryptocurrency as a means to get rich. They had the idea of cryptocurrency as something to get rich from, but now they know better since adopting cryptocurrency.

People that are rich already, just need to invest.

People that are looking for ways to hide some of their money from people, say their partners or the government.

People that were looking for better ways to send money to people in other country.

I may not be listed there I believe, not entirely sure, maybe you can squeeze me in there somewhere. Mine is the fact that fiat is a terrible thing to use, so I try to use bitcoin as much as I can in my life. If I could pay everything with bitcoin then I would not use fiat at all.

I hate the fact that my government makes my fiat worth less and less, and even though it could also be considered a situation for investment purposes, it is also regular using, like I take my salary in bitcoin for example and just did. This is why I prefer bitcoin over fiat, not just for investment (that included too) but for everything and that's what matters to me. That could be put in there somewhere but it's not exactly what it is for.
