Did you notice that the engagement in our local board is gradually growing especially since Jan 2023 we were at the rock bottom of local boards now climbed back to 4th from bottom since Jan 2020 the place we used to be?

I guess it happened because of the frustration post created by @pakhitheboss. He has been consistently creating topics and trying to engage everything on our board. I do understand that you Bitcoin Smith was the reason everything happened. Hoping we go rank up to where Russians are now.

Every active member came back to the local board for two reasons. First being the raffle I feel by @Heisenberg_Hunter. He has been more active than he was earlier. The next would be @webtricks who helped everyone getting scared on the new tax, understand the basic, which was you pay 30% on capital gain and nothing else.

What else we can do, to keep up this?

We can keep on encouraging everyone by meriting only those topics that are contributing to local board. Raffle doesn't make any sense as we don't have a huge traffic on our board. We need more intresting topic created by the legendary members. I am saying this because there are many pin post that are outdated as of 2023. To create more engagement we need more active participation of those who became legendary by activities.

I really liked this word in your title Reincarnation. It is true from where we were some month back to where we are now looks promising. I don't think we need to do anything different at the moment. What we all are doing is good and we continue with it is important. Next year we have the halving event and in all probability we will see the next bull run. The traffic on our local board will return again.

That's interesting. I guess @pakhitheboss and his post was the trigger because it was only after his post that people started engaging more in the Indian local board. It might also be a coincidence but you never know.

Something is better than nothing which is why the growth we are seeing today is a positive sign for us to keep contributing in this board.
Keep posting interesting topics to discuss and that is how we can ensure further growth.

There is only 20+ active members which is kind of really unacceptable comparing to our country's population 1.5 Billion.

Young generation kids are generating millions of posts across social media every few minutes from India and get nothing really beneficial for them so hopefully the things will turn around in some way.

Raffle created short term and also @Heisenberg_Hunter active as merit source more often which is good thing.

webtricks Is highly knowledgeable when it comes to educating us anything about legal and policy changes, hope to see further.

Yeah that is the word that hit me when I see the changes so I wanted to share with others too that we are doing good. Bull run really bring more news about cryptos to India but they are not really aware of bitcointalk existense even if they do the only place they stuck with is Bounties.

Exactly true. This was why I & webtricks collaboratively wrote and replaced two outdated topics in the board. One was about Taxation and another was about Bitcoin Resources. As of now, we do not have any unofficial rules governing us in our local board but we can work upon that and create a topic for the same replacing the old Unofficial Rules created by S_D.

Additionally, Welcome to Indians topic is getting spammed to the core They should obviously be replaced by NEW PEOPLE JOINING INDIAN SUB: INTRO AND MERIT. The Primary reason for creation of the same was for replacement but it never happened. So, let us request for that as well.

I feel you should unpin New people joining asap. I just went through the thread and it getting spammed royally. I can even see non Indians newbies using it to introduce themselves. It doesn't make any sense, when it is clearly mentioned that the board is for Indians.

Recently I filed my ITR and felt these new platforms are over charging users for calculating VDA & for filing ITR. I think we as a community with the help of webtricks should create a guide thread. The thread should teach on how to file ITR using ITR2 & 3 form. What do you think?

Yeah that is a good approach. I do see Rikafip's dashboard but it would be good to get insights directly on this thread.
It would also be a lot easier to compare it with previous month's stats.
I would suggest to edit the main post every month and add it there and reserve the first 2 posts.
So that we don't have to dive in the comments for finding a particular month's stats.
Since this year is about to end we can continue in this thread and follow the new approach beginning next year. One thread for each year.

I agree! Rather going to the main thread and then trying to debunk through those updates it is better to summarize everything using this thread. As pawanjain said you don't need to reply to the existing thread every month. Update the OP with the summary and we can then comment on it. I would be happy if we start suggesting what we can do to increase the traffic on our local board. On this same thread every month. Next month we would be having Ganesh festival, if anyone here wants to suggest any activities before the festival starts then share it on this thread.

I believe this is a good idea for everyone. I am not too smart to analyse those pictorial graphs and what they represent. If you are able to get a summary that would make my life simple. Another great initiative by Bitcoin Smith, expecting more creative and new things for the local board.

Considering what @Bureau wrote I feel this would be a good initiative if @Heisenberg_Hunter is able to switch the raffle funds for some kind of contest here. As of now he/she has been again avoiding the local baord. I don't understand why suddenly a Merit source become in active on the board. I haven't seen him replying as he was a few months back.

Raffle has been a big loser in being an attractive option to bring traffic. Why not we use the rest of the amount to create something creative. As in the amount left is sufficient to create some new event.

We can't really blame Heisenberg_Hunter @elevates. It's not his fault if the local board is not generating enough merit worthy posts.
We can't really expect every post to be merited. Besides that the raffle is not having enough participation because there aren't many active Indians in this board.
Unless new members join the board or old members become active again we will remain in the same position.
We can try to bring some creative ideas and keep trying to bring more engaging discussions.
Those who will be interested will do join the board sooner or later.

I actually thought about formatting the stats in table format but for now I tried to keep it simple and neat and in future we can make the things better.

Yes, sure having comparison in OP is best but considering the low activity on our board it won't be too hard to scroll down. But yes, I am thinking about how can fit all together to get better comparison.

Of course any event is better to keep the community alive.

Ganesh Chaturthi is more related to the Idol, right? So what about sharing the pictures of the best idols you see or something like that.

Thanks for the appreciation fella, I am trying to be a part of Indian crypto community in someway and who knows we may see ourselves in the history when people realize about the potential of crypto in India.

We can't really blame Heisenberg_Hunter @elevates. It's not his fault if the local board is not generating enough merit worthy posts.
We can't really expect every post to be merited. Besides that the raffle is not having enough participation because there aren't many active Indians in this board.

He is being on and off active in bitcointalk for the last few years and he only can tell the reasons, but we can't ask him more since being a merit source is nothing but a voluntary job.

The changes that you have made are very good. Just add the comparison from the quoted one too. It will give us a summary as to whether quality topics are being created or not. That will help others to come up with topics or news that are quality and improve the board's overall performance.
