Scammed by betnomi (20 000 $ worth of eth and btc)

What happened: I signed up to betnomi 07.06.2023. I first deposited 0.29999 btc and 3 eth on the 15.06.2023. I placed sport bets on the european euro qualifier 2024 from 16.06.23 to 22.06.23. I managed to win 0.1 btc and 1.5 eth on my bets. I had a total of 0.4 btc and 4.5 eth at the time the site went offline, 02.07.2023. I haven’t received any funds from betnomi. I don’t have proof that of my winnings at betnomi sportsbook, but I do have proof of deposit. It will be linked under :

sorry for your loss, Betnomi has been down for a month now and members believe that they did an exit scam. I feel like there is really nothing that can be done here other than wait until came back(which I think is unlikely) or accept the loss and move on(which I am sure hard to do).

OP, I am genuinely sorry for your loss, it is no small amount.
Is it possible to supplement the accusation with links to deposit transactions, you can indeed find them in your wallet from where you sent them.
Also, you should create a flag on their official forum account.

Sorry to hear about your losses but it's probably impossible to get return your deposits because when a gambling site get accused they can't bring their trusting reputation again though they pay them all. And in crypto there were many platforms been shut down and never came again. So I don't see any hope of getting your funds back as they already got several red tags so they aren't going to make all of them solved or transparent again. Either they will publish a new fresh gambling platform.

Why you are posting too late? And why you joined a suspicious gambling site when they are already been accused? I am not blaming you actually and I am just asking some questions what you should observe before trusting a Centralized platform. And I saw many gambling sites are here who have a great reputation for several years. We should try them and obviously they must have no accusations or have a great customer support. You should invest as much as you can afford to lose or should cash out your principle asap. Sorry again to hear your story.

We all hope so since they already established their reputation here in forum for significant amount of time. But I doubt that they will magically come back here just to pay all the victim because they are already deleting their social media account to erase their history.

If you want a comprehensive steps, though:

1. Go to Betnomi's profile and click the button of "trust" on that page


2. From the "trust feedback" page, scroll way to the bottom of the page where you get to the point where you can leave feedback [you can leave a negative one for them too if you want to]. Right next to the negative feedback, there's a link to raise a flag.


3. From that point, to which you'll be redirected to the page below, you can choose which type of flag you want to raise.


Flag type-1 will only need 1 DT support to be active, but it's the lightest flag and only appear to newbie and guests. If I may judge from your situation, it's more fitting to raise a type-2 flag [a violation of casual or implied agreement], it'll require 3 DT supports to be active, but judging from current situation, I don't think you'll find any difficulties to get [a lot of] supports. You can arguably raise a type-3 flag too, considering that they violate a written agreement [their ToS], it'll also require 3 DT supports. The decision is yours.

If you create the flag I'll support it. Betnomi lost what respect I had for them when they sold our information and I started getting hundreds of spam emails daily. Then, they go a month+ without showing users enough respect to make a post explaining the situation.

In the past they have been late but have always paid people, this time it feels much different and I feel there is no hope for users to get money owed.

The Betnomi people organized an exit scam right from day one. There were red flags here and there but people/members we so lenient on them and in the end they did what their mission was from the beginning, so I do think there will be anything positive that will come from them.

Unfortunately I never thought this would happen with Betnomi. Casinos should generate enough money to stay in business and not come to scamming innocent people who trust them with their money. Beside their exit they sold our informations so it’s annoying to receive spam emails and ruin my personal email. Next time we should consider using an alternative email when registering in any other casino to avoid this cenario again Lol.
For me It's even more confusing that they recently organized poker competitions and gave away gifts like Ledgers to users here. What happened perhaps there was disagreement within the team or one of them scammed the others and ran away with the gamblers' money leading to their disappearance. wjatever the reason is it's more clear now that they won't return and users should raise red flags to warn others and bring attention to opening a case against them and catch these sc*mbags

I'm positive the police will find Betnomi's team. It's a sad moment for you so be strong. I'd be mourning if my $20k was taken by scammers it isn't easy living with it.

So they made Betnomi a trap? They've used fake profiles for teams so if their site isn't working they've carried out plans to scam. We don't know how many ppl didn't get funds from Betnomi but if it's matching OP's loss they've stolen big.

Tell me one thing, did you complete any KYC verification for Betnomi website or not?
I can see from email screenshots you posted that validation failed and proof of address was rejected back in June, so it's not that simple like you say.
This is not me defending Betnomi and I am not support any KYC verification, but it seems to me you didn't the us the full story.
You did sent them coins, but you could also spent them on betting and we don't know what happened after this.

I can see from email screenshots you posted that validation failed and proof of address was rejected back in June, so it's not that simple like you say.

It seems like Betnomi team was delaying the KYC verification process and rejecting the documents intentionally to not pay the users. There are a few more complaints about the same thing on their telegram group. You may check the post history of boroBTC. The user had sent a lot of documents, but Betnomi team was requesting more documents from him. Another user is waiting since the middle of June month to receive his 0.9 BTC withdrawal on a KYC verified account.

You did sent them coins, but you could also spent them on betting and we don't know what happened after this.

There is no way to verify OP's bet as Betnomi is down. But he has made two deposits for sure and provided the evidence above. Betnomi team wouldn't ask OP to complete the KYC verification if he didn't make any withdrawal request.

I think you missed the instruction, I can't see your flag in Betnomi's inactive flag [nor in active ones, as there were not any]. Were you just placed a negative trust instead of raising a flag?

A reputable forum member is also waiting for his payment from Betnomi admin and he is in contact with the admin (Rarely getting response though). But there is no positive answer from Betnomi team. OP has a good amount stuck in Betnomi. It will cost a small amount to file a lawsuit, but the chance is very low to see something positive.

I think a lot of people are still thinking if it will be good to support the flag. But I am still waiting to see a flag created by a recent victim. May be we will see one from icopress very soon, as far as I know they have not paid him the campaign money yet.
