Am I right that you are a broker for someone that doesn’t know how to trade? Binance is the top performing exchange right now in crypto but I’m not sure your service works with your customer since most of the exchange on crypto is meant to remove broker between traders.

Bybit, Okx and Kucoinare the runner up exchange. If you don’t have a problem on providing KYC to exchange. Binance is my top recommendation for you.

These are the exchanges and their ratings according to Coingecko which is excellent in the rating:

https://www.coingecko.com/en/exchanges
https://www.coingecko.com/en/exchanges/decentralized

Bybit, Okx and Kucoinare the runner up exchange. If you don’t have a problem on providing KYC to exchange. Binance is my top recommendation for you.
Bybit, Kucoin and OKX are now requiring KYC. For no KYC centralized exchanges, he can try MEXC or Huobi.

He can read these which can be more helpful: KuCoin can still be used without KYC

I will be honest with you on this one, Binance offers one of the best services for newbie person, intermediaries and professionals but there is a comma to this, Binance have good features and are very update with new features but when something is too good to be true, there is always open back door which can cause a catastropic damage to you later or even earlier than you may expect. Binance exchange is a centralized exchange, using it means you have submit your privacy to them because you will have to be verify before you can even be allow to make a deposit, and in addition, you don't own the keys to your funds.

If you are looking for alternatives to avoid the above problems, try a P2P exchanges but they are not designed like Binance and the rest, they don't request for KYC, you can trade on the exchange without revealing your identity or even hide your IP adress from such exchanges and nobody will question you for that but Binance and the rest may even lock your account for changing an address or even the device you use to access their exchange.

Binance is good to go for brokers, if you are talking about brokers. You should read the following reviews of broker. And if you wanted to check other broker reviews then just write this command in the google search engine.
"Exchange name review 2023". This will do the work for you.

You find the biggest names here[1]. Now obviously, all of these are for crypto trading. If you want to deal with fiat without verifying your identity then you will have to seek other exchanges like AgoraDesk.

If not the best for now, I would recommend Binance.  Almost all crypto exchanges would require a KYC verification, so you have to bear that in mind if you intend to be professional about your trading and investment plans.

Still, Binance recently terminated some trading pairs on its platform that paired with BUSD mostly, and if you are one who doesn't mind, it is a good option I would often recommend. That's also dependent on if the distinct difference between a decentralized network and centralized network don't affect your intentions for trade or investment in any way.
Theres also Bitget, but am yet to try it out or hear a great compelling review about the exchange.

Actually you have to choose your best exchange which fits you. Because you can't get your desired trading pairs in every exchange or every exchange will have some of their uniqueness. You could try top ranked crypto exchanges and then choose the best one. What do you prefer to choose an exchange? Is it about lowest fees and secured exchange or popular exchanges? No centralized exchanges will be able to provide you the full security of your assets.

I personally use more than one exchange and I think Binance is in the top of all centralized exchanges with the highest trading volume and best services. Another most popular and my used crypto exchange is Bybit. It has a great user-friendly interface and a lot of popular trading pairs. Both of them need to verify KYC to use them. Huobi and Coinex are in my favorite list and they don't need to verify KYC. So you should add details about your interests to choose the most appropriate exchange.

I kinda value my privacy. So, non-KYC Exchange suggestions would be really helpful.
Then you should choose Houbi, Coinex and they are also top ranked  exchanges. Anyway Kucoin can be used in a limited way by protecting your privacy. You can see the details here about Kucoin: KuCoin can still be used without KYC

I would also have recommended Binance to you but since you’re conscious about your privacy then you probably should check out KuCoin, OKX, Huobi and Bitget.

You should keep at the back of your mind that since you’re running a non-kyc account on these platforms you will have some limit as to the amount you’ll be allowed to withdraw daily some might permit up to a thousand dollars per day while some might be lower so if you’re not the kind that deal with large sum then you’re free to go but if not you might wanna consider other options.

Kucoin, OKX, Huobi, Bitget, and many more have also adjusted to no KYC for early adopters who are still trying to get in.

I myself am using Binance at the moment to trade.
KYC is optional for everyone, for those who don't mind it there is no hesitation to KYC, but for those who really think about their personal data then stay away from KYC.

The centralized and best exchange is currently still held by Binance, and many users have already joined.
Or there may be some considerations of using DEX exchange so no KYC at all, but can't do Fiat withdrawal directly, have to do P2P.

Well, in that case, your choices are kinda limited, at least when it comes to centralized exchanges. It is not about picking the "best" exchange anymore, but rather the one that meets your specific needs. So, first off, you gotta decide if you wanna deposit or withdraw fiat currency to/from your bank account or credit card. If you wanna buy bitcoin with fiat, then your best option is decentralized exchanges like Bisq or P2P.

Hmm, Seems like OP is really a newborn in the market as you are asking for the trading platform, Hmm if you are really newbie then I will suggest using the centralized platform for the early time, and after getting some experience you can shift to the custodial wallets and Decentralized platforms. So as Bianne is the leading platform I will recommend you can directly use the Binance or KUcoin or OKX for your initial career. After that, with proper research, you can choose your Dex and DeFi services.

I myself am using Binance at the moment to trade.
KYC is optional for everyone, for those who don't mind it there is no hesitation to KYC, but for those who really think about their personal data then stay away from KYC.

That was a thing from the past and binance have long implemented mandatory KYC, see:

Why do I need to complete Identity Verification?

All new users are required to complete [Verified] to access Binance products and service offerings, including cryptocurrency deposits, trades, and withdrawals.

Existing users who haven’t completed [Verified] verification will have their account permissions temporarily changed to “Withdraw Only,” with services limited to fund withdrawal, order cancelation, position close, and redemption.

I kinda value my privacy. So, non-KYC Exchange suggestions would be really helpful.

Not to be confused with no mandatory KYC. It's good to know as early as possible that if an exchange is custodial, they can always ask you to verify your identity. Because your coins are held in their custody, they may also freeze it for some time if they deemed so.

That's also dependent on if the distinct difference between a decentralized network and centralized network don't affect your intentions for trade or investment in any way.
Theres also Bitget, but am yet to try it out or hear a great compelling review about the exchange.
Binance would have sufficed but considering OP’s preference for non mandatory KYC exchanges, Bitget like you suggested would be a valid option. I have read about a few reviews too–according to TokenInsights it is ranked as the fourth-largest CEX by trading volume in Q2 2023, its derivatives trading volume also had a surge. Additionally it is one of the few exchanges like Binance that has released its Proof-of reserves, and best known for being the largest Copy trading platform.

Binance also does no KYC and limits it to 2000 daily.

If he don't want to give his personal identity, he can go with decentralized exchanges. But in my opinion, if he want for a better feature and experience I prefer CEX especially with Binance. If he's a not reputable person, I think it's okay to go KYC but if ever they do something bad with users identity, trust me they will not choose. There's a lot of users in CEX and most of them did a KYC because if they don't KYC they can do a limited action only in their account. There are some cases of stolen identity in the past so if they're a reputable person and want a better security of their identity, just go with DEX.

Does anyone have any go-to exchanges that have served you well? I've heard some chatter about a few options, but personal experiences and insights are gold.
No go-to exchanges are the same for everyone as it depends on your demand and priority on either security, privacy, quick rich games and your risk acceptance.

If you want very high trading volume, choose tier 1 centralized exchanges from Coinmarketcap, Coingecko lists and do your own researches as well. Centralized exchanges especially tier 1 means mandatory KYC.

If you don't need to by high trading volume, you can consider decentralized exchanges, no KYC.

If you want to have private deals for big trades, choose OTC.

Your best is probably Uni for dex and one of the big 5 for cex (Coinbase, Binance, Bitget, Huobi, Crypto.com). All pretty good but lately my go to has been Bitget, switched over to them a couple months back when Bybit, and Coinbase started constantly nagging me for kyc (having did my Coinbase kyc on 4 separate occasions). Been pretty happy since making the switch, has practically all the same services, and more trading & yield products.

Exchanges typically do not freeze anyone's account without a valid reason. Such actions are usually taken only when there is a suspicion of fraudulent activities or a breach of their terms & conditions

Hi, I also do not like the whole mandatory KYC thing I mean I find it difficult to get it done by the way, I'm quite interested in knowing more about the yield products you mentioned can you please give some insights about them? I use Bitget but I haven't really explored all its features. If you've got time please quote this message so I can find your response. Thanks 🙏
