XRP - when to sell?

I only have a small amount of XRP and just wondering when to sell.

Up until recently I had $2 in mind as to when I would be selling but I am not sure if I should do or just hold till we are well into the next bull run in 2025.

Selling at $2 would give me just under a 5x which I would usually be very happy with but because it is XRP and with many saying it is going to be massive in years to come I am not sure if selling at $2 is a good idea or not.

Just curious to know those who also hold XRP what your plan is and at what price would you think of selling?

I have seen price predictions range from $5-$100 for the next bull run - I think $10 is a fair prediction myself so may just wait till it reaches that price as it would be a 24x for me.

I just feel that as the price does start going up quite rapidly in the coming months/years , it will be hard to hold on.

Definitely don't recommend selling now. It's bear market and it's not the best to sell the crypto. Wait a couple of month and see how the price will go up

I am not selling now - I will not sell until it reaches $2 minimum just not sure if I should hold on longer than that or bank the profits.

I will say this If you can hold on, go ahead and hold until the bull run otherwise, if you need the money, you can sell whenever you feel comfortable. I've also purchased some XRP, but my intention is to hold it for at least a year. As for making a precise prediction, no one can do that. I'll just suggest waiting for the bull run and then making your decision based on the market conditions.

What you should rather consider is your personal need to sell and not necessarily others opinion to sell. If you have a very salient financial need, you are free to sell since you are not selling at loss. If you do not have any critical financial situation, and you are willing to wait for bull run, it is also for your own advantage.
Nothing is actually guaranteed in this market, the $5 - $100 predictions may never happen. Who knows if this will be another BTC bull run where altcoins will sit and watch.

I just curious about you. You have been putting very high target to sell your XRP. Tbh, $2 is a very high target to be achieved this year. Why don't you try to lowering your target? It will take years for XRP to be able to reach such value. I would prefer to sell it once it already given me around 50% - 100% ROI. It's good enough for me rather than waiting for years. If you are even waiting more than $2 and then you shall wait till the next decade to sell your XRP.
You can use your sense to think how high XRP can go. It doesn't even surpass its ath but how can you expect more to be reached by XRP during the next bullrun. It's not clear when the next bullrun is gonna happen.

Split your pot three or four ways with everything from short term investment, longer term and then finally retirement and even pass on to the grandchildren.  Ensure you can access the funds later on with offline wallets that are stored securely.

deciding to buy at 2 $ is best action because after what have won in the case against Security and Exchange Commission , then Ripple might be having a great increase in the coming year as the bullrun is next to happen next year.

Your last sentence is where your real problem lies, I do not know how high the price of XRP will go but it should definitely rise during the upcoming bull run, however it seems you are not really convinced about holding your coins in the case the growth of XRP matches your expectations, and if that is the case you might as well just sell your coins as even if XRP performed as you expected all of that will be worth nothing as you will not be holding any coins at the time.

I think the decision to sell matters most on where the adoption of the tech is going. If adoption continues to rise and we can continue to see growing on chain activity then I seen no need to sell.

to be honest lot of holder doing same as you, waiting last ath to be sell point and xrp movement is always slow,
youre losing many chance in other coin show because to focused on xrp.

When to sell, you yourself must have a target price, I'm sure before you buy XRP already know what price you want but we never know how high XRP will be in 2025, wait two more years.

People who hold XRP they have a different view of the price in the future and you should know if two $2 is a good price?
I think so because $2 has made the price of this coin increase from before.

I don't really believe XRP is $10 but their predictions are free to talk about it so the assumptions you think might be true for me but not for you.

Well, since you have it, you can sell it in maybe $2, but going there takes time. And with $10 price it would have almost same marketcap as bitcoin has today, so i doubt it. Next bullrun would need to be something in biblical scale.

And people who are saying $100 don't understand how valuation works. That's just insane moontalk. I personally wouldn't hold XRP as i see way more safer options that i see getting higher, but i am not in any way saying that you are wrong to hodl it. I've been wrong before. Not $100 XRP price wrong but in some other aspects of the market.

Investing in XRP coins, really depends on each person's personal opinion. An increase in price can happen and cannot be worth it if you do not enjoy holding the asset in the meantime.

If you already entered on Ripple (XRP) before and you already have profits, I suggest that it's better to hold it and wait for the next bull run.
Even though there are lot of hater on Ripple, every bull run, ripple is following Bitcoin also. So it's kinda good opportunity to take. We already saw how Ripple moves on every bull run.

There is now right time to sell because we cannot predict the outcome of the market and it's hard to predict on how market works but incase of XRP, it is not wise to sell this year because we are still in the bear market and despite the victorious win against SEC, still it's not enough to sell your bags of XRP. Better wait for the right timing such as bull market seasons and with the new ATH of XRP is for me the right time to do so.

You should hold on to your XRP until the price increases so you can make big profits. Our target selling price is different. Some are looking to sell it for $1, $2, $5 or even $10, and those are all the prices they want to see XRP at. But we don't know how high the XRP price will go and can only wait.

So I suggest you be patient waiting for the XRP price to increase and don't panic about the correction that will occur. Perhaps it could be a good time to add to your collection of XRP coins by buying them at a low price.

Even though there are lot of hater on Ripple, every bull run, ripple is following Bitcoin also. So it's kinda good opportunity to take. We already saw how Ripple moves on every bull run.

Is that so? Then how can we explain that it peaked at 2018 when Bitcoin peaked at 2021? How come XPR didn't reach it's all time high during 2021 as well? I mean it has gone down a lot more during the bear run, which makes the bull run increase do not matter. While bitcoin went from 20k to 3k to 69k between the same period, XRP went from 3+ dollars into 20 cents and back to 80 cents.

As you can see it did not end up higher than the previous bull run, in fact it was less than four times smaller. This is why it doesn't do well during bear runs. Same is happening now, dropped as low as 50 cents, even lower, and we can see the bull run coming, I am telling you, it will not peak above 3 dollars on the next bull run neither.

Holding some XRP as well and my target price is the new ATH with XRP.
While waiting for that price, better to diversify with your investment and look for other coin that can be a potential coin as well. The risk with XRP is still there and there's no assurance for its pump but since its just a small amount of holdings, I think its worth the risk. Doing DCA can also be a good strategy, you can sell in the next bull run but right now I don't suggest this.

Ever since I'd never seen XRP is on bullish. Yes, it pumps but not to the point that we can say it was bullish. Not even it reaches $3, how much more if we think about reaching $5 - that was impossible. I really don't know why but based on my experience and upon checking on its history, the price remains low, it is somewhat to say that there is manipulation on its price.

So, if you think holding this project will make you profitable, that was wrong. Better sell them and invest in BTC or ETH, surely it went bullish 2 years from now.
