XRP - when to sell?

I only have a small amount of XRP and just wondering when to sell.

Up until recently I had $2 in mind as to when I would be selling but I am not sure if I should do or just hold till we are well into the next bull run in 2025.

Selling at $2 would give me just under a 5x which I would usually be very happy with but because it is XRP and with many saying it is going to be massive in years to come I am not sure if selling at $2 is a good idea or not.

Just curious to know those who also hold XRP what your plan is and at what price would you think of selling?

I have seen price predictions range from $5-$100 for the next bull run - I think $10 is a fair prediction myself so may just wait till it reaches that price as it would be a 24x for me.

I just feel that as the price does start going up quite rapidly in the coming months/years , it will be hard to hold on.

XRP had been dropping for how many years so what is another year to gain the power again?
with this coin being used and supported for its faster transaction with cheapest fee? wondering how much recovery it can gain in the next couple of months?or at leat next 2 years.

I'm not holding XRP, but am planning to invest in this season since the price has reduced to $2, and there is a hope of winning something big from XRP investment in the future. Those that invested in XRP some years ago when the price was $1 in the market, and they invested a huge amount of money that gave them access to achieved a good profits from their investment few months ago because they endure for the price to reach $2 before they can sell. Based on the sign the XRP price is displaying in the market, show that in 2025 the price will reach $20 but I don't think it will reach $100 soon because the price is still struggling to hit $3 in the market.

Holding some XRP as well and my target price is the new ATH with XRP.
While waiting for that price, better to diversify with your investment and look for other coin that can be a potential coin as well. The risk with XRP is still there and there's no assurance for its pump but since its just a small amount of holdings, I think its worth the risk. Doing DCA can also be a good strategy, you can sell in the next bull run but right now I don't suggest this.

XRP is a difficult coin to predict, I can understand why some investors believe that a new all time high is almost inevitable, but at the same time this coin has failed to reach it during the previous five years, so I think there are other coins in which people could invest that do not carry the same level of risk and at the same time they could obtain the same kind of profits, so unless you are completely determined to hold your XRP no matter what maybe it could be a good idea to invest in other coins like ETH.

The price of XRP will follow the price of Bitcoin, especially after the last pump of the judicial ruling, and it cannot rise by 24x, so the levels of $ 2 to $ 5 are very optimistic, and if they happen, it is an opportunity gold for sale. Forecasts do not always coincide with reality, but everyone wants to believe in something good. And if some believe that Bitcoin will certainly reach a price of $ 1 million, then the price of XRP at $ 10 does not seem so impossible. So if you are not experiencing financial difficulties and can afford to hold XRP, keep holding this coin.

Your last sentence is where your real problem lies, I do not know how high the price of XRP will go but it should definitely rise during the upcoming bull run, however it seems you are not really convinced about holding your coins in the case the growth of XRP matches your expectations, and if that is the case you might as well just sell your coins as even if XRP performed as you expected all of that will be worth nothing as you will not be holding any coins at the time.

The problem is that when the bull run comes, you are going to make a profit without a doubt but that doesn't mean that you are going to end up with a good return easily, because even during bull run some stuff go up and some don't.

The biggest example is XRP itself, it went up to its ATH during 2018 alt run, and it didn't do that during 2021 run at all. Look at its ATH and you will see that it was during 2018, which means that during the 2021 bull run every other coin went up a lot, whereas XRP didn't went up like that at all. If you want to hold XRP and profit from the new ATH during next bull run, what if it doesn't go up like that? What if the price just stays where it is? Can you guaranteed that it won't happen like that again?

If you got profits from your investment then you can sell us. I have been research many time like xrp not a bad coin so you can trust him. Don't be bombastic who wants to invest all your capital in xrp. This is the crypto market so your money will not be safe if you use it for investment. Few years ago everyone said xrp is a shitcoin and it will die very soon but you can research they are still surviving in the market with many big investors able to take over. Besides, the price of xrp has increased much more than before and their journey was criticized badly but now it is very strong.

Waiting time is the key for now, don't just keep holding but keep buying in the sense that expecting to return ot its original value before the SEC files the case against them.

Do not do that, please do not do that. XRP is a shady one that a company named Ripple is scamming you, you should stay away from it as much as you possibly could. I understand that it is not going to be easy to do that but what if you could possibly stay away from it as much as you possibly could? I get that it will not be simple and you are not going to make that much money from it, but you could possibly make that profit back one way or another.

I think it is important to realize that XRP is a scam, maybe not the traditional "I stole your money" type of scam, but it is still a scam and I think it should be important to realize that you are going to make some mistakes if you still trust it with your money after all that has happened.

Honestly, I'm not a fan of buying and holding XRP even before and that is because I'd never seen it as a profitable investment.
But this is the opinion on the current situation, selling is not really the best option to take but instead, accumulation. As an investor, I consider the dump or price correction as an opportunity to buy more, not to sell. If I were into the trust of the said project XRP, I also buying more and fill my bag making it ready for the surge as it was certainly be going to happen next.

I disagree heavily, with the new one billion XRP unlocking, it is definitely time to sell and get out. You should be getting something like ETH for example or even BNB if you want to because those are the real good ones and I bet that the yare going to keep being the good ones for a long time. I do not think that it is going to be that much of a profitable thing if you could end up holding XRP at this point and you are going to end up losing money because the owners are greedy.

And yes you heard me right, there are owners of this and I think you should be avoiding that most of the time and you shouldn't invest into something that has owners that can make these type of decisions. Just buy something better and not this.

Definitely, you have too bigger expected when investing in XRP, how possible for selling XRP above $2 until $10 looking current price from XRP under $0,7? you looks live in dreaming where huge expected with XRP coins although with good news after winning SEC but your range price selling around $2 to $10 most impossible thing. Realistic, selling above $1 is possibilities but with your expectation want to sell XRP above $10 I don't sure when its happen. I don't huge imagination with some coins investing, not expected with profitable earn more than x100 because its no era with shit coins can up drastically, realistic with XRP difficult for raising to $10.

I also believe that the newest ATH will happen with XRP; they are able to achieve that because the capabilities they have really need to be appreciated, even with the many problems that hit it that don't make the price slump or disappear from the market but are still in a pretty good position at CMC. This means that, until now, the community that has been built is very solid and able to continue to support it in order to survive. So I agree with you guys; it's only natural to invest in XRP in any way so as not to miss out on a bull market.
