Actually I can't help but wonder how crypto awareness would have spread if there was no forum like this, though I have not really gain anything financially from this forum yet but the level of crypto knowledge that has been impacting on me on a daily basis is actually helpful, I came to this forum with no idea about crypto and how it works but now I was able to read and learn from this forum and through the experience people in this forum I was able to learn many things, so I always see this forum as a place of learning as such the forum impact you the knowledge to navigate other ways that will help you earn a living through internet.

And the good thing is that through the forum most people were able to earn some money through Campaigns, so tell me what platform would have been more better than this forum?

I no so many persons has other major sources of income aside from this forum while some persons depends on the forum to earn a living, so tell me if there was no forum like this how things would have been for you?, I love learning so I'm always here to learn so please share your knowledge and views.

You will need to be concerned about bitcoin in cryptocurrency because that's the only best way you can start from and learning is a continuous and gradual process, try to read more than you talk, get used to the forum rules and other guidelines for moderation on the use of this forum, while being here, you will learn about bitcoin and also learn about the forum and from there, if you are keen to growth, you will discover many other opportunities ahead.

the view a person comes to a forum to make money will influence how he or she will participate in the forum. focus and just follow the discussion. even though when we take part in a signature campaign, we are obliged to fulfill some posting quotas. it might affect our time online in forums. however if you are oriented towards making forums a source of income, there could be a lot of work pressure on you. and you will not be free to do what you want.

but your view on this I believe is also rational. there are some of them who are in the forums for earning. and that's what makes them last longer in the forum. although we can't assume all the members are of the same mind.

Knowledge is more valuable than money. Imagine making $100 a week but not knowing a single principle about Bitcoin or even how the network works. That would be a loss for that person, because they will just run to greener pastures once the signature campaigns are no longer viable for whatever reason.

But learning about Bitcoin is helpful, because that enables you to actually make use of it (and not lose it).

After writing too long, it comes to the end about earnings through signature campaigns. You can join signature campaigns only if you are a good quality poster and can contribute good posts to advertise those companies with your posts that carry their signatures.

If you have yet been quality poster and have enough contributions, you will not be competitive enough and your application will not be accepted. If you want to join such campaigns in future, you must start your learning now and building up your account.

Leaving aside the fact that the issue of campaigns has been alluded by the OP and other members who have written before me, the fact that if it wasn't for that reason this thread might not even exist, and the not so hidden reason that this answer of mine is in part also motivated by that reason (blame on me), I can't imagine the Internet without the oasis of calm this forum represents, amidst the noise of social media and influencers where lies prevail for a few bucks or, worse, likes.

I have grown up here, I've learnt the fundamentals of everything related to crypto nowhere but here, I have made friends and, yes, I have earned some money too. So, if I had to imagine a life without this forum, rest assured that it would not be a so fulfilling one in comparison.

The Bitcointalk forum serves as a school for anyone who wants to learn about Cryptocurrency, many people who come here have gone from not understanding anything about Cryptocurrency to becoming reliable crypto actors both in terms of trading and investing. When someone gives you money,  you take it and spend it what happens after then? Your money gone and you had to look for another source of money. But when someone gives you knowledge you can reuse that knowledge again and again to improve your financial health. Satoshi gave us Bitcoin as a gift and this forum is the gateway to access that gift. This is the oldest forum of Bitcoin and it is like a footprint of Bitcoin where every step has been recorded.

If you only came here to find a source of income or to learn about how you can do that then you are in the wrong place dude. Youtube and Google have way more stuff on that topic. This forum offers very limited options to earn money and someone depending on the forum for their livelihood is hilarious. I do not know which part of the world you are living in but you should have improved your skills depending on your interest so that someone can give value of your skills.

Although the OP has stated that the main goal of the bitcointalk forum is to discuss bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, some people have different intentions when they join the community. However, the forum does have the added benefit of allowing high rank members to make some money through advertisements while they are actively helping other members.
But OP, you need to realize that the forum is much more than just a place to make money because you can learn anything about bitcoin there by asking questions or reading other discussions.

I only know about cryptotalk which previously had signature campaign in this forum called Yobit, they were paid for 1000 Satoshi per post, but now they paid with shitcoin and it's not worth it anymore.

Maybe there are many people depend on signature campaign for their living especially if they're live in third world countries, but the campaign can stop or paused in any time. They need to prepare and have a skill for future job.

After reading the OP's post, i think they are well aware of this. OP wasn't saying earning is the most important aspect of the forum, but that signature campaign is an added incentive for users to make high quality posts and to remain active.

You're being a bit disingenuous, OP. Your job offer as a bounty manager says very clearly that you are primarily interested in making money.
But in no way am I blaming you. It is true that, thanks to the forum, many users can support their lives by earning, which the forum offers as a privilege. And this is very important for those countries in which there is a high level of unemployment and, as the latest news says, a difficult international situation.
However, everything can be done together. By learning and reading on the forum, you can also participate in subscription companies. I think even without the forum everyone would still be doing fine in their respective places in life. First you don't need to see the forum as a means of income but as a means where you transmit and impact knowledge to other person somewhere around the world and you in return impacted too. And that for me is a privilege gained through the forum.

We can't rule out the fact that participating in signature campaigns brings some stipends to forum members but for you to be eligible  to the ranks of participation you must have in one way somehow, at different points impacted knowledge to others, gave information or resource solution to someone's questions by way of discussion threads. The forum is an enviable community to be a part of but that doesn't mean that without it people wouldn't survive.

In life when one door closes, a much better one opens replacing the closed one (innovation is discovered everyday).

This forum is just major discussion platform for sources of information related to the blockchain, Bitcoin and cryptocurrency. Crypto awareness are done through physical conversation,  social media campaign,  blockchain event,  news,  blog, crypto podcast, influencer public announcement of crypto investment, etc.
In the early days of crypto,  most new project owner come here to advertise their project because this forum is the community for crypto investors before the abusive of ICO happened. Which mean if you're looking for crypto enthusiasts community this forum is the best for them that's why we have signature campaign which is used by project to build their reputation  within crypto enthusiasts.

I also came to this forum with zero knowledge about the workings of Bitcoin. But today I will say that I have learned many things about Bitcoin. This forum is at the forefront of Bitcoin education but there are still other forums that also discuss Bitcoin. I agree that this forum has carved a niche in promoting Bitcoin education and awareness globally, but without the forum, bitcoin will still be the pacesetter of other cryptocurrencies because of its uniqueness.

I am benefiting financially from this forum but it is wrong to see it as a major source of income. Campaign earning should be seen as a privilege and not a secured source of income. There is a need to have a more reliable source of income. Several online platforms can pay more than the highest-paying campaign in this forum if you have the requisite skill or qualifications.

Well being here is like a gift of knowledge and small opportunity to gain money but we should remember that this place isnt really for money talks but discussion itself. Every industry has its forum or community for discussion, Bitcoin will eventually propagate as long as there is the internet there are hundreds of ways to communicate social media are considered a public forum, since the community is growing when Bitcoin was first created there's bound to have a forum or a community dedicated to it.

We have a great number of Cryptocurrency groups like those on Reddit and many more on Telegram and Satoshi Nakamoto knows what to do to promote Bitcoin and that is through interaction SMF type of forum was very popular back then and it is still popular now, Nakamoto on that time could only think of forum like this because its the one suited for his creation because he can create sections and categories and full control of everything posted.

You are expecting to much on everything around here and for sure crypto or bitcoin will still be famous even without this forum since there are so many stuffs where bitcoin can be promoted and there are social media where people use to discuss about this matter.

Although there's opportunity to earn here but don't ever think that this is a place where you can earn money since this is just a perks of your efforts for participating on ajy discussion and there's a chance in future thag campaigns will gone.

Having the knowledge of investing, trading, mining and been a developer that helps to contribute to the growth of the industry, that's just some of the ways that you can earn more directly with the industry and not earning chicken change from signature and thinking that's where life ends. Signature or bounty campaigns on the forum ar just a privilege and not what the forum is all about so when you're creating topics you should know that and stop expressing yourself like all you care about on the forum is making money from it. You're reducing your chances of growing in the forum when you do that.

Nobody likes anybody that just see the forum as a means of making money because all those that have followed that path in the past ended up using the forum wrongly by either constantly spamming (adding no value to their posts) and contributing to he forum positively. Glad to hear that your knowledge of crypto has increased by being in this forum. It is true for many that these forums are very efficient for increasing our knowledge about cryptocurrencies but it also depends on the intentions and ways of each individual.

I admit that the Bitcointalk Forum is indeed good and complete, apart from that we can increase our knowledge about cryptocurrencies and it is undeniable that we can also get additional income from this forum, but when talking about platforms that can make money, of course we know that there are many freelancer platforms that also can give us a large income but it depends on the expertise we have.
I myself once used one of the freelancer platforms to sell my graphic design services and I received orders and received a good additional income, but now I rarely actively participate in that platform due to my busy schedule with my main job.

Even if we are in campaign still we are not sure on when it would last that's why its better not to rely on it since sometimes this is for short time glory only. What most important is the knowledge we can get since this forum is really so active and almost all new informations can be found here. That's the reason its really important for us to deep dive on the knowledge we can learn since its more profitable for us in long run if we know a lot of things since profit will just come along way with that.

If I hadn’t known Bitcointalk Forum years ago, I would not be in this position today.

During my early days of coming back to this forum last 2017, I was broke and in bad debt. I was desperate but I persevered for months until I finally had a big cashout from a bounty that I have joined.

I give credit to this forum because it saved me from financial disaster last 2017 by means of joining airdrops and bounty programs. This had changed my life until now after years of struggling to find an industry that is really meant for me, and God damn right it is!

Of course we cannot deny about our reasons here for joining Bitcointalk like trying to make money. As I kept contributing here, I have learned a lot to become much more than just for making money purposes.

I learned how to be a valuable contributor by giving value and helping others. I will forever be grateful and thankful to Bitcointalk forum of who I am today.

I don't have to imagine it, it happens in front of our eyes every day because some forum members are not here to learn something, but exclusively to try to earn something. Exceptions always exist, but this forum is perceived in some countries of the world exclusively as a place for making money.

I will not say that we should support such an approach to the forum, but a man who is hungry and lives in difficult conditions, unfortunately, cannot think of knowledge, but only of how to earn money to feed himself and his family. In the long term, we can consider it a success even if someone came to the forum exclusively for money, tried to go that way and still at some point decided on a different approach which is certainly better than disappointment and giving up.

To survive the forum think about doing something for others or the forum generally like coding, crypto awareness in your local community,  bursting scam projects trying to defraud innocent souls here or offsite and the alike..and not everything should be about earning!!!

Forums are typically created because people enjoy discussing ideas on a specific topic. Since this is the Bitcointalk forum, it primarily focuses on discussions related to Bitcoin. As time went on and the forum grew in popularity, it naturally expanded its scope to include discussions about altcoins.

As the forum gained popularity, it caught the attention of many companies and projects that wanted to advertise here. Active members began to benefit from these opportunities. However, it's important to remember that the benefits we receive here are privileges and they could be discontinued at any time. Bitcointalk was instrumental for Bitcoin in the beginning because this is where the serious discussions were held. There was nothing like it in those days. Nowadays, I am sure that many members of the newer generations haven't even heard of Bitcointalk. This forum is still a place for interesting technical discussions and a go-to-venue when beginners run into problems. However, the newer generations aren't interested in a forum culture. They spend their time elsewhere. Twitter, Telegram, Discord, reddit, etc. The only other similar community where you can find quality content is Stack Exchange.

I believe life would still be very fine without Bitcointalk. There are other platforms out there where one can still learn about cryptocurrency and blockchain, though maybe not as Bitcointalk. Bitcointalk stands out among the crowd as it a great place to learn and earn. From what I heard, the incentive part of the forum was not part of the reasons it was created. AFAIK, It was created so that people could interact and learn about Bitcoin but along the way it was monetized to encourage people to learn while they earn. That being said, I still think it would be dumb for anyone at the end of the day to lose focus of the primary reason why he is here and prioritize other things ahead of knowledge.

It is a fact that bitcointalk.org is not the only bitcoin discussion forum so far.
You will certainly find many other forum and sites out there that provide access to discussions about bitcoin although they are not quite the same as bitcointalk.org. I agree bitcointalk.org plays a role in increasing the knowledge of its users, but some would also recommend this forum for money.

Discussions about bitcoin are not limited to one place, you can even create your own discussion space on other platforms such as telegram groups, Facebook or WhatsApp and etc. So while the bitcointalk forum has played a role in spreading information about crypto, it is not the only one.

Scammers usually flock these socials and newbies cannot ask a simple question without becoming a target. People nowadays see this forum as a source of income because they see a potential way of earning like the signature campaigns, we cannot deny tons of newbies coming here and trying to get merit in different ways just to participate in different campaigns and events. But if you see the forum in an efficient way theres a lot of information you can use with your journey you want too, people are now stingy with the information.

Bitcoin Talk Forum is way different from other forums; they might appear to have the same purpose, but other forums choose to be more self-centred and biassed, which here focus on individual building and real information rather than some kind of random social media discussion where anyone can copy and lie about anything.
 
I can't recall where I read about it, but Bitcointalk has been ranked as one of the best places to get quality information that can satisfy one's curiosity, and its members provide genuine answers to problems based on personal experience and not on what they copy from other places or the past for others to read from. Aside from that, this forum has helped many learn skills that they never thought of and has given them the opportunity to earn money, among other things, that other forums don't offer. Even if they do, it's not as effective as it is here on this forum.

If you are actually passionate to learn about bitcoin, you will never rely in just a single source. Research as much as you want but learn to consider also if you are learning from a legit source so that what you'll gained are facts and not just fake news.

But we are just lucky to have bitcointalk forum that contained facts and latest updates of bitcoin and in the crypto market that are in stored for us. Without it, learning might be not easier as we are seeing a lot of fake news about bitcoin that are circulating online.

And the good thing about this forum, we are not learning only out from the post of other reliable members but they are also learning from us. This makes the forum more educational and interactive since every idea that is offered is given value and emphasis in the forum.

I think without this Bitcointalk forum, we might find it hard to gather sound information about Bitcoin.  It will be harder for us to verify about the validity of certain news since this forum had given us factual information about what is really happening in the crypto industry and often refute fake news and fake information.

We might also find it hard to determine scam projects and get warry of them, this forum is also known as a scam-busting forum since many members here are very concerned about informing each other about possible scams and the safety of securing one's account against hacks.

I think my knowledge would still be mediocre about Bitcoin if I had not found this forum.

Had Bitcointalk not existed we might not have had Bitcoin as the Satosh brand of this world originates from here , or maybe it would have taken alot of time for us to know about cryptocurrencies as it might have launched on a different forum as this was bound to happen as it was it's fate to be known to the world...

But honestly, without BCT means no BTC  and some other form of digital currency was definitely going to make its way to the big leagues especially that we live in a digital world that heavily relies on all sorts of digital platforms and can't imagine how it would have turned out without it...good thing the forum happened and Bitcoin was born, the rest is history

It would be hard because you don't have any community that is sharing some legit information when it comes to crypto-related matters except Btcointalk because the users here are willing to wait and they are quick to correct someone whenever they are sharing some missing or wrong information. Whenever you want to learn something, you just need to ask some questions and you will receive satisfying answers from all kinds of users and it's a never-ending loop until you close your thread. For the past years, I have learned so much and I've been recommending this community to all of my colleagues every time they want to learn about Bitcoins.

Seriously, these are the things that make the forum unique from other sites or media platforms. We know how interesting it can be even as a student when you are learning and still earning again. Financial reward on this forum doesn't equate the level of knowledge gained. Many users on this forum may be in one signature campaign or another and their concern is the pay not the knowledge or the technicalities and understanding about bitcoin. You can see them mostly in the gambling section. This is also totally fine because our goals and aims for being here are different.

You already have a good mindset and perspective. Learning doesn't stop here...for newbies this forum may be the spring board to carry out indepth research on a bitcoin concept which they have seen on this forum.

Even with this forum, you still need to have something you are doing aside from whatever benefit This forum provides, this is not an office. People who consider this forum to be the only place to earn an income are basically having the wrong mindset because there are no permanent earning sources in the forum. If we talk about bounty or signature campaigns, they are not a permanent way of earning money, because even if there are new campaigns coming out every now and then, it doesn't necessarily mean that the same will happen in the future, the trend of signature and bounty campaigns might end some day.

So, such people really need to find other ways of earning an income before their only source of income starts fading away and then they get lost and get in trouble because they won't have any money to feed their families. As you said, a person in today's world needs to have more than one source of income to survive.

I've been here in this forum for a long and I have also got some experience with these tasks, as users can get many benefits through the bitcointalk and even they have settled their life in this forum and using this forum as well in all aspects. If the users which are really like to get some knowledge about anything and if they want to get any opinion from the users who have already experienced these things then they usually make posts and thus they get their answers from many known users which is quite a good thing for the newbie.

Signature is the most known earning campaign here in the bitcointalk as users usually earn through the signatures and as I had already told you that they got decent profit through these signature campaigns and are enjoying their life.

Who doesn’t want to grow and see progress in his account. When I joined the forum I was looking less of my self because I was a newbie. There were places I could not get conversations because I was scared that I will shut post so I reframe from there. At last I got to know about the forum gradually now am effectively posting because I have learnt a lot and enjoying the benefits of the forum. Truly the places I haven’t learnt much is all about the mining aspect of Bitcoin and I am eager to learn but with time.

I’m glad I’m not on this path alone but I think you also have to know that the forum initially wasn’t created to make any money from but rather a place to talk about bitcoin  and it I had been evident that almost all the preliminary knowledge about bitcoin can be gotten from the group as outside from the campaign over here, there are several other opportunities that the forum presents and I personally don’t know what I would have done without the forum especially with my poor health and that’s why I always do my best to make meaningful contributions to the forum and I also encourage people to do same too.

I have knew about Bitcoin and crypto before registering on this forum, it's no doubt that this forum packed all the mega information about crypto in one single platform, there is no other like it, but anyone can do without this forum, they will have access to some good information but that doesn't mean they won't do well, I've makes all possible mistakes before I came across this forum.

Your main point is about making money on the forum but honestly that's not the main reason why this forum exists, making money on the forum is just a possible part of it, this forum was created for crypto related discussion and information and also making money on the forum doesn't mean your level of knowledge about crypto is high enough.

I don't know if you have come across some accounts on this forum that basically only have bounty reports on their profile, every week that's all they do, drop links to the tweets from twitter platform, they never engaged in any discussion, I consider such people as spammer even if the moderators allow them to keep doing their thing, the truth is such people learn nothing and they aren't here to grow their knowledge either.

This forum is a place of learning and also inpacting knowledge to another, it's more about learning and teaching/educating others on crypto currency. In asmuch as people saying the main reason of this platform is for educating people, I think if there were nothing like signature campegn, I think here would be as calm as a graveyard.

I think the signature campegn is a driving Force that motivated many here to participate in this forum. I think if this forum were to only educate people on bitcoin or cryto currencies without benefits, I think many people would not be here. Time is very precious and not to be compromised. I think nobody will leave to hustle with his handwork to feed himself to come here and educate people on Bitcoin. Truth be told it has been of help to many people. If signature campegn is removed from this bitcoin talk I think this forum will not be flooded like this.

One thing that baffles me is how people always pretend as if the forum has not been of help to them. Always making it look as if who ever speak of benefiting from Bitcoin forum, only came for Money. Like they come to play. All you just need is to focus and you will still learn more we are here to lean despite the forum was not created to make money, but as it becomes more of learning and earning I thing we should be grateful for that.

No platform would have been better and compared to bitcointalk. Till date, we have not seen anyone coming out or claiming to be a forum to learn enormous knowledge about bitcoin than this. So many people won’t be here and discussing if there was no gain to engaging here. Here is a book full of knowledge to share about bitcoin.

Life will still be normal to me, if there was no place like this forum, I wouldn’t have thought of asking deeply about bitcoin. I will just look for other means that are available to learn something new. Everything happens for a reason  and for it to be present now, it means it will hold a lot of value in the life’s of many that have already been part of the community.
