Actually I can't help but wonder how crypto awareness would have spread if there was no forum like this, though I have not really gain anything financially from this forum yet but the level of crypto knowledge that has been impacting on me on a daily basis is actually helpful, I came to this forum with no idea about crypto and how it works but now I was able to read and learn from this forum and through the experience people in this forum I was able to learn many things, so I always see this forum as a place of learning as such the forum impact you the knowledge to navigate other ways that will help you earn a living through internet.

And the good thing is that through the forum most people were able to earn some money through Campaigns, so tell me what platform would have been more better than this forum?

I no so many persons has other major sources of income aside from this forum while some persons depends on the forum to earn a living, so tell me if there was no forum like this how things would have been for you?, I love learning so I'm always here to learn so please share your knowledge and views.

Sorry to let you know that this forum was not intended for making money or adverts, it was created for bitcoin discussion and that's how you got the idea from the name it bears as bitcointalk.

You will need to be concerned about bitcoin in cryptocurrency because that's the only best way you can start from and learning is a continuous and gradual process, try to read more than you talk, get used to the forum rules and other guidelines for moderation on the use of this forum, while being here, you will learn about bitcoin and also learn about the forum and from there, if you are keen to growth, you will discover many other opportunities ahead.

the view a person comes to a forum to make money will influence how he or she will participate in the forum. focus and just follow the discussion. even though when we take part in a signature campaign, we are obliged to fulfill some posting quotas. it might affect our time online in forums. however if you are oriented towards making forums a source of income, there could be a lot of work pressure on you. and you will not be free to do what you want.

but your view on this I believe is also rational. there are some of them who are in the forums for earning. and that's what makes them last longer in the forum. although we can't assume all the members are of the same mind.

Knowledge is more valuable than money. Imagine making $100 a week but not knowing a single principle about Bitcoin or even how the network works. That would be a loss for that person, because they will just run to greener pastures once the signature campaigns are no longer viable for whatever reason.

But learning about Bitcoin is helpful, because that enables you to actually make use of it (and not lose it).

After writing too long, it comes to the end about earnings through signature campaigns. You can join signature campaigns only if you are a good quality poster and can contribute good posts to advertise those companies with your posts that carry their signatures.

If you have yet been quality poster and have enough contributions, you will not be competitive enough and your application will not be accepted. If you want to join such campaigns in future, you must start your learning now and building up your account.

Leaving aside the fact that the issue of campaigns has been alluded by the OP and other members who have written before me, the fact that if it wasn't for that reason this thread might not even exist, and the not so hidden reason that this answer of mine is in part also motivated by that reason (blame on me), I can't imagine the Internet without the oasis of calm this forum represents, amidst the noise of social media and influencers where lies prevail for a few bucks or, worse, likes.

I have grown up here, I've learnt the fundamentals of everything related to crypto nowhere but here, I have made friends and, yes, I have earned some money too. So, if I had to imagine a life without this forum, rest assured that it would not be a so fulfilling one in comparison.

The Bitcointalk forum serves as a school for anyone who wants to learn about Cryptocurrency, many people who come here have gone from not understanding anything about Cryptocurrency to becoming reliable crypto actors both in terms of trading and investing. Previously, have you ever imagined being able to make money while studying, you can get both in this forum.

People who join here come from various countries with different activity backgrounds, besides getting a regular income from real life activities, they have also managed to increase the amount of income from the forum. When someone gives you money,  you take it and spend it what happens after then? Your money gone and you had to look for another source of money. But when someone gives you knowledge you can reuse that knowledge again and again to improve your financial health. Satoshi gave us Bitcoin as a gift and this forum is the gateway to access that gift. This is the oldest forum of Bitcoin and it is like a footprint of Bitcoin where every step has been recorded.

If you only came here to find a source of income or to learn about how you can do that then you are in the wrong place dude. Youtube and Google have way more stuff on that topic. This forum offers very limited options to earn money and someone depending on the forum for their livelihood is hilarious. I do not know which part of the world you are living in but you should have improved your skills depending on your interest so that someone can give value of your skills.

Although the OP has stated that the main goal of the bitcointalk forum is to discuss bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, some people have different intentions when they join the community. However, the forum does have the added benefit of allowing high rank members to make some money through advertisements while they are actively helping other members.
But OP, you need to realize that the forum is much more than just a place to make money because you can learn anything about bitcoin there by asking questions or reading other discussions.

I only know about cryptotalk which previously had signature campaign in this forum called Yobit, they were paid for 1000 Satoshi per post, but now they paid with shitcoin and it's not worth it anymore.

Maybe there are many people depend on signature campaign for their living especially if they're live in third world countries, but the campaign can stop or paused in any time. They need to prepare and have a skill for future job.

Of a truth there is quite a lot to learn about Bitcoin on this forum, it is basically a platform that every bitcoiner should be on, without this forum, quite a lot of us wouldn't know the right wallet to use or the modus operandi of scammers, and the reason why i have not lost even a sat to scammers is because i am a user on this forum.

After reading the OP's post, i think they are well aware of this. OP wasn't saying earning is the most important aspect of the forum, but that signature campaign is an added incentive for users to make high quality posts and to remain active.

You're being a bit disingenuous, OP. Your job offer as a bounty manager says very clearly that you are primarily interested in making money.
But in no way am I blaming you. It is true that, thanks to the forum, many users can support their lives by earning, which the forum offers as a privilege. And this is very important for those countries in which there is a high level of unemployment and, as the latest news says, a difficult international situation.
However, everything can be done together. By learning and reading on the forum, you can also participate in subscription companies. There is nothing reprehensible in this; something else is important so that your interest in material terms, after all, is not so frank but more than outweighs the interest in knowing the field of crypto.

I think even without the forum everyone would still be doing fine in their respective places in life. First you don't need to see the forum as a means of income but as a means where you transmit and impact knowledge to other person somewhere around the world and you in return impacted too. And that for me is a privilege gained through the forum.

We can't rule out the fact that participating in signature campaigns brings some stipends to forum members but for you to be eligible  to the ranks of participation you must have in one way somehow, at different points impacted knowledge to others, gave information or resource solution to someone's questions by way of discussion threads. The forum is an enviable community to be a part of but that doesn't mean that without it people wouldn't survive.

In life when one door closes, a much better one opens replacing the closed one (innovation is discovered everyday).

This forum is just major discussion platform for sources of information related to the blockchain, Bitcoin and cryptocurrency. Crypto awareness are done through physical conversation,  social media campaign,  blockchain event,  news,  blog, crypto podcast, influencer public announcement of crypto investment, etc.
In the early days of crypto,  most new project owner come here to advertise their project because this forum is the community for crypto investors before the abusive of ICO happened. Which mean if you're looking for crypto enthusiasts community this forum is the best for them that's why we have signature campaign which is used by project to build their reputation  within crypto enthusiasts.

I also came to this forum with zero knowledge about the workings of Bitcoin. But today I will say that I have learned many things about Bitcoin. This forum is at the forefront of Bitcoin education but there are still other forums that also discuss Bitcoin. I agree that this forum has carved a niche in promoting Bitcoin education and awareness globally, but without the forum, bitcoin will still be the pacesetter of other cryptocurrencies because of its uniqueness.

I am benefiting financially from this forum but it is wrong to see it as a major source of income. Campaign earning should be seen as a privilege and not a secured source of income. There is a need to have a more reliable source of income. Several online platforms can pay more than the highest-paying campaign in this forum if you have the requisite skill or qualifications.

If there is no forum like this at a current time I think people will still be the same and probably get their knowledge on the web and socials. Well being here is like a gift of knowledge and small opportunity to gain money but we should remember that this place isnt really for money talks but discussion itself. So whether we get something from herr or not we should act as if its just like a normal forum which prioritize discussion over bitcoin.

Every industry has its forum or community for discussion, Bitcoin will eventually propagate as long as there is the internet there are hundreds of ways to communicate social media are considered a public forum, since the community is growing when Bitcoin was first created there's bound to have a forum or a community dedicated to it.

We have a great number of Cryptocurrency groups like those on Reddit and many more on Telegram and Satoshi Nakamoto knows what to do to promote Bitcoin and that is through interaction SMF type of forum was very popular back then and it is still popular now, Nakamoto on that time could only think of forum like this because its the one suited for his creation because he can create sections and categories and full control of everything posted.
