Empoli messed up my coupon. I can't believe they allowed themselves to lose such an important game at home to Verona, who hardly had anything at stake.
Their fate was entirely in their hands. If they were to win, they would have the same number of points as Lecce, and (if I'm not mistaken) that would mean we would have a direct play-off, as I believe this is also a tie-breaker rule for the relegation places.
Lecce beating Lazio also comes as a big surprise. Lazio was fighting for the European cups and had a one-player advantage for the entire second half, but they couldn't capitalise on that and, as a result, they finished 7th, which should be seen as a big disappointment.
At least Juventus didn't disappoint, and they successfully defended their 4th place in the league.

To be honest, I didn't expect such alacrity from Venezia. They came out strong and managed to score in just the second minute of the match. Interestingly, my original bet on a Juventus win at 1.6 odds was cashed out early ^{not sure why, but I’m not complaining}. After that fist Venezia goal I placed a new bet on double chance for Juventus ^{win or draw} at 1.33 odds, just to be safe. Honestly, i think that Roma deserved to go to the Champions League more than Juventus. In the last few games they played really well and worked really hard with Claudio Ranieri.
Let's say they were very unlucky in the first part of the championship. At least they're going to the Europa League.

Interesting that Juventus managed to do it, i honestly wouldn't have bet a euro on them.
It was also obvious that those teams would be relegated, but i am happy to see Sassuolo back in Serie A, if i understand correctly of course.
It's clear that Milan have had a terrible season, the fact of not having any cups to play is a good opportunity to fix the problems

Atalanta on UCL again, that part is interesting. Because they have been a team that consistently improved under Gasperini. They weren't this good, but slowly every year they got a bit better and better. Now they are doing UCL consistently and that shows they are very good, it would not be that crazy to think that they would deserve a spot next season too.

This means, they are actually consistently great now, and that should have a good result. I am suspecting them to win Serie A one day, they are getting closer, and they are getting better, so all they need is to get better a bit more and they should be able to get it. If they could get it, then we are going to see them win the title and that would change their history forever.

If AS Roma had performed impressively since the beginning of the season, perhaps at the end of the season we would have seen the team at least finish in the top 4 or even higher and get a ticket to the Champions League next season. However, it is very unfortunate that under the guidance of Ivan Juric their performance was in disarray before finally the maestro Calaudio Raineri came as a savior for AS Roma who made AS Roma's performance improve again and could return to the top.

However, Raineri's presence, he came only temporarily just to save AS Roma so that they still have a place in the European league next season. Next season they will recruit a new coach, I hope they can learn from previous experiences and can attract a better coach.

Juventus should seriously consider signing Jay Idzes from Venezia. They need a solid, reliable defender, especially with Veiga possibly on the way out and If Bremer still not fully back to form after his return. Strengthening the backline is a must right now.
Hopefully, there will be a rebuild in the club for next season because they still haven't found a leader who can lay the foundations for a solid team.
Very sad for Venezia, they deserved much more to keep in Serie A than relegated teams as Monza and Empoli, but the football sometimes is very cruel

Unfortunately, this is how it went this year, they paid for a truly disappointing start and only Ranieri managed to fix things.
Much respect for coaches like Claudio Ranieri and Massimiliano Allegri, they are really good at managing complicated situations.
