On local gambling sites, I do not see any gambling like this. On crypto gambling sites, there is nothing like this. This is just to make fun and nothing more. This is not about gambling except people that will use it to bet among themselves.

Although this is just a pastime game which is purely for fun, who knows in the future if this could be introduced more formally in a competition or a tournament and betting sites would release odds and fans could bet on their favorite players?

Whenever I see games like bags or cornhole, I'm reminded that any game which is fair and requires a certain amount of skill or practice could indeed become some kind of sport.

Initially, I was thinking of this as an application game where you could bet real money and just in the 50/50 chances or something. Like coins, where there are only heads or tails. It's probably more complicated than that, but it's a start.

I would like to see a digital version of this game to see if it can be possible to turn this into a new online gambling game. They can alter the level of water for every spin to make it less predictable and they can make it PvP to make it more fun. (The participants pay an entrance fee that goes into the pot for the house)

This is a local game carried out for fun just like other activities.  All games do not qualify as sports that can be gambled on professionally, the only gambling that can be done on these games are the local and domestic gambling that is unregulated in most cases and can be dangerous for the young people who indulge in these games because it introduces them to gambling and becomes gateway for them to become gambling addicts.

Whenever these games are played around Children, any kind of monetary betting should not be included, so these children do not pick up the habit. Children can easily pick up habits from home than from outside.

The only thing I know is that this thing is trending on social media, particularly TikTok, and I see some groups of friends organising it like a competition among themselves. They can decide to add money to it to make it more fun, so that if you can flip more than five times, then you will have the money. Apart from that, I don't see this as real gambling. It's just something that can be done by friends to while away their time of leisure.

Op this game is just for fun and both young and old are playing it this days, I think the reason on why op dropped this bottle flip here on this board might be because he might have seen people placed bet on it in his locality.

I think people are placing their bets on this bottle flip more especially now that both the young and old are playing it, this was how whot gambling started just from fun to stakeing of bet so I have no dauth that people are placing their bets on bottle flip now.

I've seen this on tiktok I know some may stake in this game but I wouldn't take it seriously like a bet on it. It's fun watching the game and seeing them take turns in making the bottle stand but this is not for me. It's just for fun that it can be done at a party where your friends are already drunk.

I guess @OP could make a video explaining how kids and adults play the game in his place. Thus we can see whether it is included in gambling, even though the ones playing are children.

But a traditional game, as @OP said, won't use money, especially if children play it because the supervision of every parent in my environment is very strict. They don't allow their kids to gamble as adults do, and none of my kids use the money to play.

OP said that people are "sometimes using money to bet" so I guess we can still consider this as a form of gambling. Even though the game is not really new, I think many people are still not betting on it. And that may be the reason on why it is not included by the casinos.

The mechanics of the game is too simple but unlike other simple games, I can't seem to appreciate this one or I find it boring. Sorry OP but the game seems like relying mostly on the skill of the player so there is a potential to make money on it if we take this seriously. I can't only imagine if how can this work online but maybe it will be played live like sports betting.

Every games which involve a competition or challenge among different players is possible to be gambled. If bottle flip is an interesting and addictive play, I'm sure many people are going to have disposal to bet on it, however it has to become more popular first. Personally, it's the first time I'm hearing about it. I have never seen people around playing bottle flip on my country. Here people are more into soccer most of the time.
