To the effect of this that OP is asking of, I think the Pi network runs that by badges probably depending on when they receive the sign up. After a while it is will available for the KYC. I think that is the 5th level of verification out of 8 of them. What I'm not sure yet of pi network is if they have actually been launched because it is not verifiable the pi sold in huobi.

There is no issue with the devleoper nor the pi coin app, they open the KYC window seasonally, they have done it twice now, its your responsibility to always keep yourself updated on when the next one will be.

The Pi coin in HUOBI GLOBAL isn't the exact Pi coin you you have in your Pi coin wallet, you may want to do an extensive research to arrive at what information you need.

You are not allowed to do KYC at the moment currently there are no slots available to do KYC. You can engage in person-to-person selling if your KYC is on record, although the KYC verification process itself is quite lengthy and time-consuming now. Previously, the KYC approval used to happen quickly, but currently, it takes more than a month. You have to complete all the steps of the main checklist to enable you to conduct P2P sales. However, it's important to be cautious. Many individuals offering large sums on PI are likely scammers, as PI currently holds no established value and people estimate its worth arbitrarily before engaging in P2P transactions. Even after your KYC is approved, refrain from transferring your coins to unknown individuals without receiving payment upfront, as there is a risk of falling victim to a scam.

A little bad move for you and dumb action for the buyer, they got your KYC data and buyer cannot sell anything. Off course, I believe data not important at all because the money even people can KYC with just for 10$.

Pi Network goes against most of the principles of what a blockchain should be. KYC when you're not selling the tokens to users and also the fact that they didn't open up their blockchain to everyone. It should be free, open and permissionless but Pi Network isn't. Considering the time and effort most people that I know of dedicated to Pi mining at the time, the rewards thus far leaves nothing to write home about. I've always been skeptical about their team and for a good reason.

Heard this project years ago and its good that many are able to make profit out of this project despite of the hate or fud about his project, though it can be true. If you can’t verify right now better to ask the support for the valid reason and also some are saying that you made a KYC on a wrong site, better to double check it.

Pi Network is simply an obscure project and an outright scam attempt. A lot of shady practices and empty promises. The reason why you were deceived by this news is simply a sign why you should forget about this project. Besides, asking for KYC in order to use the coin is absurd. Certainly, there is a hidden motive behind that reason.

Actually Pi Network is coins still testnet and difference kinds with coins already listed on Huobi with expensive price above $25, don't too expected for selling Pi network from app mining and deposit to Huobi account because not open deposit yet and Pi Network still not mainnet progress. Why don't you ask the question, why the deposit is suspended?  you say Pi is being traded for 25 USD per pi on Huobi, but you can buy it easily at P2P marketplaces for less than 1 USD per Pi. it was just a ploy to attract users from Huobi and this has been done by many other exchanges.  Pi is worse than shitcoin and it sucks that so many people still believe in it blindly.
There have been many warnings about Pi, I think you should do your research with Pi again, before setting false hopes and doing KYC with it.

The thing that people mined on their phones aren't the one who are listed on the exchange. People from different marketplaces are selling their Pi on a lower price rather than the market price which you said are $25. Don't get the false hope that Pi developers are spreading. Pi developers just want to give hope for people who are still believing their token by putting a different coin in an exchange and making it look that the tokens that are mined are the same. Most of their users are new to crypto or has a very little amount of knowledge on crypto and I'm sure that they won't notice or know about what Pi devs are doing. They have been collecting KYC from people for a long time now and did you wonder there still no news about people celebrating because of their Pi? It's because they couldn't sell it in the exchanges because it's impossible.

This is the best answer so far because if it is true, you wouldn't have any problem selling your pi coins and it should work smoothly like other coins that are currently sold out there. I don't know why they still not launching their Mainnet so that their investors and miners can benefit from this coin. Investors should not be investing coins such as this one because they may end up not getting what they are hoping for project such as this one often do not become successful due to their lack of sincerity when it comes to giving their investors the best product and services they have told them in their roadmap.

I can't remember the month, but I think the year was 2021. My friend also sent me his referral link to start mining the Pi Network coin. After some months of mining, I just had to delete the app and stop mining because I was just convinced within myself that the coin was going to be worthless. I don't know why I had that feeling, though, and just like I guessed, up until now, no one that I know has been able to pass KYC and sell their Pi coin. Although, let the pi miners keep hope alive that one day it will be worth some dollars for them. At the end of last year and early this year, I searched on Coingecko about the Pi coin, and that same pi coin was worth about $300+. Then I remembered I had mined a few of the coins when my friend sent his referral link, but I got back to the app and tried to access my coin, but all attempts failed. See the screenshot below; it's from Coingecko, and I don't think the pi that we all have mined is the one that is trading currently for about $22. It's also trading on Bitmart.

Even I used to mine this so called Pi token in my mobile for few days and realised something fishy as it doesn't hold any value and there is no clear roadmap it's just a waste of time, there are friends who still thinks it's legit and will be listed. You cannot trade this coin in any exchange let's not confuse with what's listed in Huobi with the one you we have mined as they are different.

Yes, I read up the story on so many centralized exchanges rushing to list Pi, including Huobi global, and how Pi put out a disclaimer to that effect that it wasn't in alliance with any exchange to list its coin. It was indeed a funny situation. I saw Pi has an ATH of $307+ from Coingecko site but I don't know if it was actually traded on any exchange or it was just a glitch on the site.

This Pi stuff is becoming more controversial on a daily basis than it makes sense, actually. One would wonder how it's drawing the attention of scammers if it doesn't have any value. Does it mean it has but many of us don't see through it? I asked this because I've yet to see where scammers show interest in a project that's not worth anything.
