Projects that are priced too low do not generate very good profits, and may not last long in the market.  I never suggest you to choose a project which still has low market capitalization because they create hype for few days and go down easily.  Such projects have very little utility and many flaws, very likely a scam. I think not all coins storm in a bull market.  You should do some more market research.  Because even with small capital good profit can be achieved if you invest right coins.
There are many such assets in the market, but only 1% can generate substantial returns for investors. And that is if you are lucky. In general, I have a negative attitude towards the release of monotonous projects that bring nothing new.

It is necessary to remember that low cap altcoins are very risky for investment and during the fall of the market many of them will not be able to survive.

There is a coin called Tomochain, that I don't know why but is doing extremely well, even today. This coin has low market cap, tiny reddit community, tiny twitter community, basically no one talks about it and still this coin steadily rises and rises.
If you like Matic, I think you'll find Skale Network interesting, it has low market cap too. I think this coin also has potential to rise but at the moment it's not doing well. Btw, it's really hard to say whether coin will rise because it promises something important, that's not a good indicator of price rise because often we see how memecoins and jokecoins rise in price like Shiba coin and Dogecoin.

New memecoins or altcoins on new layer networks.
These days, there are new networks that are popping and most of them have altcoins that are pumping or gaining too much volume.
So expect that these altcoins are low market cap altcoins at the beginning, just verify everything they are legit project.

If we will recommend certain altcoins for you OP, will you really buy those coins?
I mean why people are asking here these kind of questions? Are you lazy enough OP not to make a research thus, just asking questions like that here? What if you lost your money, who will you blame? Us? Because we recommended an altcoin, and that altcoin failed miserably?

One thing more is that, you are asking for an altcoin that has a low market cap. For me, the lower the market cap, the higher the chance for it to fail. Why focus on low market cap altcoins if you still can get profits in investing into high market cap coins? It's lower, but at least it's less risky than what you are thinking.

Well, people are always recommending Bitcoin, and Ethereum here because it's the safest cryptocurrency to invest. If I were you OP, just focus on these 2. You have low budget? Doesn't matter. I have low budget as well, but I always focus on buying Bitcoin. Budget doesn't matter. Where you put it does.

Obviously, it's a major gamble. However, some individuals can earn a significant amount of cash from such wagers. Yet to be truthful, the majority are losing money. Although there are times I am tempted to take a chance, practicality usually prevails, so I do not engage with such assets.

Or try to study it, recently the DAG chain has been mentioned a lot and the names like IOTA, KAS, and most recently TARA are prominent. Actually looking at the capitalization level, I think the project is also acceptable to invest in for a long time, looking at their development I find it quite serious, although there are exaggerations surrounding it around.
But IMO, you should still choose the top projects of the market such as bitcoin, eth, ... then observe the trend to invest during the bullrun.

With the way the market is, it will take sheer luck to get a low cap altcoins that will not rug you eventually, because the scams out there is just crazy. So, for now i will stick to the already established coins and increase my bags.
I am not knowledgeable on altcoins. I refuse to take risks as I am aware it would not bring any profit. My practice has shown me the importance of holding investments, which is why I am still a holder at present.

Yes, it's very important to know what works for you. For some, they prefer trading altcoins, because that is where you are guarantee quick return, but the inherent risk is unimaginable.
But, on the long run, it is better to have investment that can grow overtime and not gamble with your funds on altcoins.

If your budget is already low, why are you looking to waste it on something that might not give you any returns at all? Low-cap altcoins mean that they are not traded much and don't have a high price, though the price of a token or a coin doesn't determine if it's good or bad, its trading volume does make a difference. When a coin isn't traded much it simply means that investors don't find any potential in it and it is not very likely to rise a lot in the future.

No matter how small your capital is, always try to go with cryptocurrencies that you think have the potential to at least perform well during the bull run and aren't just pump and dump coins which might give you the opportunity to get some profits but if you miss that opportunity, you won't get anything at all later.

I aim to add assets from the top 50 to my portfolio as they have potential for long-term profit.  Although returns may be lower than on altcoins, it is a more secure option.

Yeah. That's nice. Some are so very much undervalued and overlooked, and I am sure they will spring surprises in the future. Let's just hope the market bounces back and let's see how it goes.

Before you decide to put all the top 50 coins in your investment portfolio - I hope you do some analysis and research. Not all the coins you currently see in the top 50 will give you an advantage - some of it is due to ranking manipulation. Don't believe what you see if you don't do a thorough analysis.

Carefully decide on an investment plan - even if you only have a low budget for each of the selected investment assets. All altcoins are highly dependent on bitcoin - so you should know which one is better for getting a large portion of your portfolio in the long term.

I hope the market rises soon. It's unlikely to happen this year, but halving is approaching.

No, I'm not referring to all 50 possessions. Specifically, I'm addressing the 5-10 possessions I presently have. At the same time, I favour bitcoin.

Lol.  Nah, I don't think he said all the assets from the  top 50, rather he said he wanted to add from the top 50 to his portfolio.
And I am very sure he would definitely do a research before jumping into a conclusion of which asset to add.

Definitely not this year. Expectedly, we are looking at 2024.
Let's hope that 2024 will bring us the desired pump that we so desperately seek.

I don't expect any growth this year, considering the current geopolitical situation. There might be a small rise though. With the ongoing global events, I doubt we'll see any growth at all. It would be fantastic if Europe returned to normal.

The cryptocurrency market has come to a point know one knows when bull run is going to take place, because of a unbelievable dipping in the crypto market, and it always occur unexpected, Bull Run coming is sure but know one knows exactly time, but is good to prepare ahead as you mentioned to buy low cap alt-coins like, Matic, TWT, ADA, FTM, Solana, Qtum,  and many more and is good to make a research before investing in any alt-coins.

Everyone has their own preferences when it comes to purchasing altcoins. Some buy a couple of tokens, while others purchase over ten. I am not skilled at analysing projects in great detail, so I aim to invest in those within the top 50. Although my earnings may be modest, I will also minimise potential losses.

There are a lot of meme coins on the market right now that mimic alts so you have to be careful. I would suggest you ADA and TFS, they have good potential and by the next bull run you can make a good profit like me

Well,.we can't just conclude just like that. The market can spring a surprise, although I do not expect any meaningful growth this year. The market is pretty messed up.
