Well , even without rules to stop when animals are crossing the road , a driver with common sense will still stop and wait for the animal to cross he or she goes on driving , like here in Nigeria, there is no such law mandating drivers to stop for animals crossing, but we still stop or slow down when ever an animal is seen crossing the road, or if you are so much in a hurry and there is a space, you can try to dodge the animal, and this is because, if you decide to hit animal because there is no law against that..

First is that, the animal will be severely injured or be die, in either of this case , if the owner of that animal is around, and you are caught , you will have to pay heavily for the animal.

Secondly is that, your vehicle will sustain some damage which will also cost you money to repair , and this is if the accident do not turn fetal which may also claim your life , so this is it for laws on animals crossing the road .

In any case, I think that as information about animal cruelty spreads through modern media and the Internet above all, more and more people in the world begin to resent such facts of cruelty.  And I hope that after a while such entertainment will be banned everywhere in the world.

It’s not only a rude thing to torture an animal just for some fun but we call that sickness, even that we consume and kill a lot of animals to survive people kill those animals in a quick and most quick possible way so they don’t suffer much chicken or sheep. I have seen butchers doing it in a very quick way just to not let that animal suffer much even some of them they don’t let them see other blood around that place.
Forcing two animals to fight until their death is first a waste of food since nobody will eat that dead body second those animals really get hurt. We have in our region organized fights between sheep and you can imagine that seen of two big sheep with their big horns clash and run into each others and the lost sheep they kill it. That's what I meant. Perhaps in our country it is allowed while in other countries it is not. It also depends on government regulations to protect pets or wild animals or to protect certain animals. And it also happens in countries that still allow cockfighting. But even though the state has banned people from cockfighting, there must still be cockfighting betting in hidden places because people who have often bet on cockfighting still want to do it with their friends. Those rules are mostly limited to western countries because in most eastern countries government really don't care about pets or animals and there are no such rules and regulations. I don't think that other countries will ever implement such rules because they don't really care much about animals. The cock fighting is the worst example we see I have also heard that in some countries Pheasant fighting also takes place and people enjoy that more than cock-fighting. You're right it all depends on the geographical location and the government rules and regulations for pets or animals. Besides, in some states in the US, there are rules for the motorist to stop for some certain animal to cross the road while in some states there's nothing like that. The same thing goes for cock fighting which there's no law discouraging it in some countries.

They said they have some laws for it, it was being banned but only those cockpit arenas that are allowed to hold cockfighting events. The cockfighting events held from the outskirts are the ones that are illegal which only the locals know about.

I don't seem to find any enjoyment in letting two unknowing animals fight to the death just because humans said so. It's a crude form of entertainment, and people pay and bet on it not because they are entertained, but because it's their way of making money. I'm not an animal activist whatsoever, but knowing that these animals are fighting for their survival at the time that they are put inside the arena against their will? Well, that's something to think about, but I guess money and tradition come first before animal welfare.

I am from a country which fully supports this kind of gambling activity. I am not a fan of betting for these animals and I don't raise one, but this has been a tradition for quite some time already. This rosters were raised as if it's a part of your family, they need to be conditioned and with proper feeds and vitamins to achieve it's purpose. Once they die on the arena, they are served as a dinner for the winning team. One can define this as an animal cruelty if they are not part of its tradition. If we're disturbed by watching two rosters fighting each other till death, we should also be disturbed to see two human beings fighting in the ring hitting each others heads applying as much as force as they could to knock the opponent dead just for the money and culture. I mean how is that different? I think we all could agree that human lives are far more precious than the roster's.

I certainly agree with you that the process of protecting animals in many countries will be extremely difficult because of the traditions of these countries and certain communities in such countries. 
But I hope that the general direction of the development of civilization will still follow the path of combating various types of manifestations of cruelty.  In cockfights, such cruelty clearly takes place.  And it is especially dangerous for children and teenagers to watch such fights.  Therefore, I hope that various activists in the field of the fight against cruelty to animals and in general the protection of animals will increasingly act on public opinion in such countries and will finally force the governments to introduce appropriate bans by some kind of local laws. 
I understand that this type of business will still not completely stop and will continue as already illegal.  But at least there will be less of such bloody cruel entertainment.
