It must be different here in my country then, because (as I said some weeks ago in this very thread) one of my uncles was quite into cockfighting and he brutally sacrificed a rooster in front of us because (allegedly) that animal had failed him during a fight. I think what happened is that the rooster fled the arena instead fighting, so my uncle took him back home to personally kill him.
