I disagree with you. I have an account in some casinos where I did not carry out the KYC until today, I did not do it for the reasons below:
1. I play for fun, relatively low values and I always convert my winnings into more bets because I don't have profit as the ultimate goal;
2. My bets are mostly sports, so the profit I get from each bet is smaller than other games of chance, I am aware that I will not become rich overnight;

It both has advantages and disadvantages but isn't the most important criteria that the site is legit? If a site is legit in terms of licenses and registration and you win a lot of money on their platform and they still deny the payout, at least you would have a chance to sue them if you've done nothing wrong. It depends on you, really. If you are looking for a casino that has an options to be verified later on then you yourself should already know the risks that are associated to it and practice being safe on the side as anything can happen to your account.
