The reason on why they lost their value would be is, they are built poorly. There are also those who built with a better quality but their developers can't keep up with the pace for some reasons. So, the investors lost their motivation as well to continue supporting the project. This is why what you said is true that we should not invest blindly. When we say blindly, it is when you buy and forget. It's important to always monitor our investment and stay updated online or offline to know what is happening. If we think we can't do that well, then it's better if we can just pick up Bitcoin, or/and Ethereum. As like you said, these two coins are already proven through time.

Any altcoin that was doing well and drastically reduced to 90% 95% will not come back to life again and whenever you are investing in any altcoin make sure have to make research on the coin or the project and I'd there is no good review found about the project or the coin then don't invest in it and look for another coin that is good. That's true op. Only because of more profit we usually don't hesitate to buy new altcoins, memecoin even shitcoins. Maybe people were benefited from such profit but I think most of the people ended up their investment with losses cause this is a technique where such project trying to make you convince that they are best and that's why they are flying but after investment you will realize that you did mistake. Its true that btc eth won't give you 10x but atleast they don't dump 10x too. That's why it's safe. There is very expensive idea which is the best step for buying top currency for dip price and it will good profitable history. What was the trend ieo, ico, ido and many investors enjoy there profits category. I was receiving lot of profits from ico trand and this opportunity was live very long time.

But ICO is dead now as why will one invest into it when they knew that more than 90% of project would either run away with your money or just dump the tokens on the same day of launch. I don't think people will go for ICO anymore though IEO is still a considerable option but for me it would be investing into the top coins like BTC & ETH during the dip and regular investment throughout the year. Not thinking of any ICO or IEO at the moment.

But you will get good profit from ido during this time because most of the ido management projects are successfully entering the exchange market by doing token sales. You can see the evidence in the market and the majority of investors hodling BTC and Ethereum in this bear season and, you will no that there is no way you will hodl all those coins for a long period of time and you will not improve higher in your investment.

 If you don't want any fear in your hodling, I will advise you to to continue embracing the altcoins that will be giving you peace of mind like Ethereum, Solana and BNB which I know they can give you peace of mind if you want to invest on them.

I completely agreed with your all views about this all but still we have good potential in Bitcoin and Ethereum with few coins/tokens are also having good potential and chance for giving profit but as mentioned we have 90% to 95% shit and meme coins which are waste of time and money so in this all situation sticking with these big two are much better and safer way for having better profit in near future.
Research about projects and having all details about team are must before investing in any new project because as things are developing we are having few good projects as well which can perform good and have chance of giving good profit for the investors in the future, but one last thing please do your own work before any investment and also just invest which you can afford to lost as well.

I completely agree with you, projects are coming out on new blockchains, it seems like a good team is a good project, I also decide to invest there, but the project shoots up in price for the first week, then goes into a hard minus and I generally think about a scam, although I repeat, there really is potential in these projects, but still they do not go up like Bitcoin and Ethereum.

The only altcoin holding I have, is the one I get as a reward from my signature campaign. I have not bought any altcoin before but trust me, I know how it feels to hold an altcoin. It's more stressful than holding Bitcoin, and the funny part of it is that you are just holding for a short period of time, so you have to be vigilant watching the market to know when to sell before you start incurring any loss. But with Bitcoin holding, you just need to sit back and let the market do what it know how to do best. that is, moving in an upward direction.

I also experienced this, starting from airdrop tokens or even ICO tokens that I chose first in 2017. And in the end now they have become trash coins that cannot be used at all. That's one of the most valuable lessons for me to be more precise and careful in choosing coins as a long-term investment.
and luckily I still have a little ethereum from 2017. If I didn't have that ETH, I might have run out of money just for a failed ICO.
