In my country, groceries like bread, meat, milk, cheese, and eggs have increased causing hardship particularly for lower-income households and overall economies. One of the reasons I think this is happening is there have been disruptions in global food markets due to planting season disruptions. To cope with the rising cost, if it is not super essential, I do not buy it. I have cut down on bread and replaced it with fruits and vegetables. Eating out is now once per week with friends if it is so important. There are a lot of other stuff that I do to save money too.

This is true and is a problem in the country where I live, a lot of farmers are facing such a problem. For example, there are farmers who need to sell their crops to businessmen who will distribute or sell their crops to the city, and these businessmen will tell them such a low price that farmers will have no choice but to sell it at such ridiculous price or let their crops deteriorate or spoil, basically losing a lot of money. And with how much their tools and chemicals cost, they are losing more money than they are earning every day. In my country, the agricultural sector has been neglected, the focus now is majorly on crude oil. Since subsidy on petrol price was removed, the price of every other good and service increased.

I guess that this problem is almost on every country even on the first world countries. We're also suffering from the high inflation and we're dealing on it everyday. As much as I want to buy everything based on the set budget weekly, it doesn't cover everything anymore with our food that we're used to purchase. So true. And it is clear that society and government must both work together to overcome this problem. And it is absolutely true that society cannot rely solely on the government to solve this problem. Personal contribution and awareness are also needed in this regard. But when farmers stock more of their crops. then the stock in the market will be depleted. And yeah, people who don't have agricultural land, they will definitely have a hard time with this. This is happening all around the world. Even the Europeans were suffering much out of the rise in the food price. NGO and social service communities have organised food/vegetables/fruits stalls in which people can go get there necessary things free of cost. This is being supplied on weekly based based on the availability of food/vegetables/fruits. Big number of people around Europe is fulfilling their food needs through these stalls. Hope scenario will change to the past days when people were able to fulfill their food requirements without spending much.
