Leverkusen would have been able to avert that losses if they were able to calm the pressure at the beginning of the game as that has already gotten them to have some flaws already in their form and their morales were down when they were now two goal behind because in oder to win they have to cancelled the two goals first after which they can now hop to score more goals to win.

Because there are many people who didn't expect the tactics that Atalanta had this season that they were able to win the Europa League which was quite surprising because before that no one predicted they could win with conditions like that.

Atalanta need to stop selling their important players like they sell Hojlund last season. They will play in Champions League next season, they will need to upgrade their squad depth to able to compete with top teams. Gasperini is a good tactician, he elevate Atalanta to be a tough team and have an attractive gameplay throughout his coaching career at Atalanta.

Despite they have won a european trophy, Atalanta still need to have improvements. They have capability to compete for the title race next season, if they are able to maintain their form with some improvements. Winning the Europa League trophy can become a morale booster for the players, I hope they will enter next season campaign with confidence and compete for Scudetto.  

But I don't think that Atalanta is all that rich and they are not really one of the top addresses in European football. It's quite unlikely that they will be able to improve their squad by a lot. I guess they will be one of the teams that most likely get kicked out during the group stage in the Champions League. But who knows, I might be wrong though. I wouldn't have thought that they can beat Leverkusen like this. They were super efficient with their chances given that they had so low ball possession. Leverkusen played the game and Atalanta scored the goals.

But I guess if they were to repeat that game a couple of times, Leverkusen would win more than they would lose. It's not like that everyday when a team has 33% ball possession and literally destroys the opponent with three goals. Still hard to believe that Leverkusen couldn't even score once in that game. If they didn't lose that game, I guess it would be the first time ever that a team managed to not lose a single game in all three competitions.

Atalanta is just an average team, they must be interested in a big offer. If there is a big offer to Lookman or other players, it seems hard to reject it. Moreover, Atalanta isn't a big team, the player must expect to move to a better team. If the offer comes from the big teams in EPL, or the big teams from other leagues, I think Atalanta players may consider leaving Atalanta. Moreover if Atalanta wants to improve their squad, they need a lot of money. If they can sell few players with big transfer fees, they can get other players with cheaper prices.

Of course, Atalanta will play in UCL for the next season. It is not a guarantee to win Europa league, it doesn't mean they are quite strong now. The team should need some players who can strengthen the teams in the higher competition for the next season. So, I guess Atalanta may plan to rebuild their squad, they probably expect to have fresh money for this plan. Since Atalanta isn't a rich team, one of the ways to get the money is selling some players to be a realistic option.

This could have been the most important success for Bayer Leverkusen, but their undefeated streak ended and they lost the cup. Two sad results came together. It's a sad week for them. However, if we look at the whole season, it was a great season and they only had 1 defeat. We need to congratulate Atalanta and Lookman. It was very difficult to beat this Leverkusen

Bayer Leverkusen vs Atalanta game taught the vast majority never to underestimate any average club because this particular club is tasty for the big winning and more importantly, in the finals. Bayer Leverkusen lengthy unbeaten streak have come to am end after experiencing shocking defeats against Atalanta in the Europa League final. Xabi Alonso and the rest of the squad didn't see that coming but they have no option than embraced the result.

That is true after we have been watching the match. I noticed that many people were not even rooting for Atlanta to win the game because of Leverkusen's unstoppable running and it makes also atalanta bettors have been getting better results. Bookies have been favoring leverkusen to win the game but they are all wrong about that. Atlanta has had a great season.
