Ok... 2 people so far have showed me that they had posted interest on the original thread but were never put on the list that Frank made or the mintage increased and they got missed.
While original numbers may not be assigned to the original person, I am trying my best to accommodate all original requests
Original coin numbers are not guaranteed but if you were on the original list you will get a coin

Just to clarify+. This coin was reserved and sold months ago. This thread is just for people to confirm that they still want coin. Any coins still available if someone dosen't want it will be made available to the stand by list at the bottom. Didnt want anyone to think they were being excluded.

All coin reservations have been claimed Waiting on 7 payments, then funds will be sent to Frank and he will pick a future block to determine the coin that gets funded Currently 14 of the 40 coins will be graded.... who will crack their slab first?  Good luck everyone |

you would have to peel it to see if you are the winner - there is nothing linking which address goes to which coin. The addresses are guaranteed to match the PK's used but there is no record of which PK was put on which coin - was done randomly - so the only way to know if you win is to peel the coin and load the PK into a wallet. That said, you could then generate a new PK and address pair and load the coin yourself. Anyone wanting to do this, let me know and I can supply a new Alpen DIY hologram. Whoa ok lol I might need to rebuild then. lol maybe I shouldnt slab it?  |

Keeping it original will always net you more then if you rebuild. Most likely we will never know who has the winning coin and the chance is what builds value. But I understand why someone would. I feel it's still a extremely rare and valuable coin. Plus if the winning coin is found then the wonder is gone. I'm sure there are a few that will peel it so we might know we might not. But I wouldn't say I would blame anyone for peeling it or not. I think this is such a cool concept and love that it's a silver coin. Would be cool to see more raffle type thinga like this.

I understand what your saying and to each their own. Just consider this 1/40 odds are terrible. Its 2.5% chance you have the winning coin. In 5-10 years this coin in original condition could potentially sell for 0.04 even if its loaded with nothing. Just make sure if you or anyone else peels to let us know if you got rekt. That way we know if our odds got better. Great coin, great idea. I foresee discussions continuing for years to come. |
