You don't trust exchanges as in you don't want to submit your documents for verification? If it's due to something else, then you could always use Binance P2P and sell your BTC to USDC.

Alternatively, you might be able to find someone to deal with it on AgoraDesk or BISQ directly using your local currency and without having to go through USDC.

First you either are too naively to find a local trader to do that trade because it is easy to be scammed.

Second you can be a scammer try to trap your trade partner.

You can simply trade it on a centralized exchange and get USDC or cash from your bitcoin. Remitano is a good one if you don't care your privacy and KYC.

No KYC exchanges are for you if you don't want KYC.

If OP doesn't trust exchanges, then he isn't going to want to use a fake peer to peer site like LBC or Paxful which will still collect his data and invade his privacy. The process you want will cost a lot and be inefficient.

Since you didn't mention your local currency I would suggest you to trade in your local currency through Binance P2P exchange. You can trade directly to your bank account in your local currency via P2P with no problem. Moreover, if Bitcoin is legalized in your country, you can directly contact your trader and trade in your local currency. Your money will be directly in your hands if you contract with your local agent. i think it would better for you to trade your Bitcoin through binance P2P trading process.

There are some exchanges which let you swap instantly your Bitcoin for other currencies, I have used some of them before and it was okey, however I wont mention any to encourage you to do your own research.

You can check on Bestchange or other directories whether some Exchange out there meet your expectations, but I will have to let you know most exchanges will likely ask for your documents if you are trying to exchange a big enough amount in Bitcoin. It would be better if you tried some decentralized exchange like Bisq with s small amount so you can learn how it works and then proceed with bigger quantities.

Made me think on why you didn't trust exchange but you trust random people online and identity has not been exposed? Reputable exchange is more ideal and you can getaway with scammers for using that option. If worried about fees then you can use some alts which less fee feature.

 The one you ask here is more risky and if I am the one who have that, I will rather choose exchange than people I don't know if I can trust especially dealing with huge funds.

If you have someone you can talk to and you can trust them because you've known them for a long time, that's good, and I don't see any problem with that. But if you don't really know it well, all I can say is that you think about it carefully because it is not a small amount that is being discussed there. It's better that you follow what other people posted here and just convert Bitcoin to USDC using p2p in an exchange that doesn't have KYC, and at least the percentage is much cheaper and its more secure and your money is more safe.

I *think* you missed some sarcasm. LBC and LC have both shut down and Paxful shutdown and was reborn with full KYC

The other note is the amount of money involved, a small place in a tiny less wealthy country, is going to involve a different situation then a nice place in the middle of NYC.
That's just the way it is.
Heck, I have a friend who sold some land and a small cabin on a small lake in AZ for less then the cost of his car, and it's only an OK car.

Since you didn't mention your local currency I would suggest you to trade in your local currency through Binance P2P exchange.

Given that OP has said he doesn't trust centralized exchanges, then anything to do with Binance is a non-starter. Binance P2P is still completely centralized, and still requires you to sacrifice your privacy, complete KYC, and hand over control of your coins.

Any decent peer to peer exchange has protections against scammers. Bisq uses a 2-of-2 multi-sig escrow, while AgoraDesk uses an arbitration bond system, meaning scammers cannot run away with your money or your coins. I have traded peer to peer for years and have never lost a single satoshi, whereas the number of people who have lost everything on centralized exchanges is innumerable.

You do not mention your country where we can easily tell you which one is best in that region, Somehow I am suggesting Binance just for your security purposes and the best services provided by Binance. Daily millions of trading occurs on Binance so it's a clear indication that it is safe and secure. You should give your BTC, Ethereum, or BNB, etc. to your local trader, and on Binance P2P he will give you money in your native currency, If you talk to him maybe he will meet you in person to see what are you looking for is best for you.

Why do you need to talk to anybody before selling your bitcoin to fiat? You can do this on a binance exchange, they will pair you with someone who will pay you with the exact currency you are spending in your country.

If you don't trust exchanges well Binance is the most trusted on my list, so there is nothing to be scared of using this exchange.

Find P2P on binance exchange and move your Bitcoin or USDC from Spot into P2P and click on P2P at the left hand side of your screen, then click on sell on top of your screen and choose the best exchange rate from buyers, from Bitcoin or USDC to your Fiat rate.

It's very easy, but if you find this complicated you can go on YouTube and watch how to use P2P on Binance exchange.

I'm not really sure where do you live, but if your local currency isn't that popular like USD, EURO, etc, you will not able to find a local trader that willing to trade for 1:1. But for exchange BTC to USDC or USDT, you will get a fair amount. You can also search in google to find instant trade because in my country I can trade BTC to my local fiat without KYC for small amount.

Bisq is good, Paxful isn't no KYC, while Bitquick seems sketchy because I can't read their terms, only a blank white page.

What is it that is there in using an exchange that you don't trust there, to tell you the truth there's nothing bad in using an exchange or anything serving as disadvantage in using one, there are reputable exchanges you can use and they are trusted, but if you think using local traders is more preferable to use, then know that you will still needs an exchange to know the current exchange rate for btc as at the moment of you performing the trade in other for you not to be cheated by the traders, you should check on some reputable members of this forum to help you perform that, check service board for recommendations.

Which country are you from ? I believe that we have reputable traders here,that might be in your country, you can contact them and see if they will be interested in doing business with you. Check the service board,you will see market place. If that doesn't work then you should use the options suggested by other poster above. Bisq and Agora desk is better for safety DEx p2p. Cex is easy to use but since you said that you are scared of CEx,DEx will be perfect for you.
