I'm back with exciting news!

Everything is prepared for making Bitcollector PRINTS.

The canvas was professionally scanned and I digitally brought it as close to the original as possible.

Here it is (in smaller size so our prints outshine any other attempts  Wink):

The digital copy is super large, so we could make human size copies, however I believe the original canvas size might be best for prints.
In case anyone wants a huge-ass version let's discuss that option as well.

Now we just need to settle on points below and we're set to go (based on already proposed methods and ideas from many of you):

* Print size. Canvas size is 40x30cm 15,7˝x11,8˝ and I propose we make the prints in that same dimension.
* Number of prints. Maybe go for the BTC magical number 21? I've had inquiries so far for at least 10-15, but I wouldn't scatter them too wide, but keep them at valuable collectible level.
* Personally tagging copies. I propose numbering and signing each one personally as the author.
* Sell method. I propose (as others suggested) a raffle.
* Print price. All material (not counting countless hours) and shipping costs on my side will sum up to 10-20€/piece. I was thinking 50€/piece for a raffle entry spot? However, I'm offering...
* Project member discount in the form of free shipping for everybody that has contributed here. I was also thinking there would be a reserved spot for each of you in the first couple of days of the raffle.

These will be my first ever prints, I'm super hyped and want to get everything done perfectly.

Let me know what you think about above points and in a week or two these might already be on their way to you!

Cheers.

I love Painting and I love Bitcoin.

Super cool. Love the idea of 21 signed and numbered prints. I think the raffle price is very reasonable considering you get a print and a chance for the original, it might even be too reasonable. Regarding reserving spots for interested parties. I personally like this idea for my own selfish reasons. If there are already 15 people interested the other six spots will sell out in 5 minutes. If for some reason you decide not to hold raffle spots for interested parties, maybe you could just realease the time you are going to start the raffle. That way those interested can jump online at that time. Super excited about this project and our artistic representation.

I want a numbered poster please! And if your going to sell the original then make it an auction or outright sale.

No raffles for me. But its your choice!  Goodluck!

I've gotten multiple initiatives from members against having the original raffled with prints. They want a fair shot at the original, instead of a random pick, so I believe a separate auction way to go.

I still think reserved spots for project members is a good idea for those 21 prints. We could also still decide to go for more prints, but 21 is such a symbolic number.
Or I can offer a second, unnumbered print run, but does that still diminish the original print?

The intial idea of the "buy a print" and get a raffle spot for the original was opportunity for everyone to get a chance at a great original piece. Obviously their are some who are willing pay a large sum for the painting outright. I just liked the spirit of the initial idea.

Ultimately the artist put a lot of time and money into this project and I support whatever they decide to do.
