That's why it is important to always read the rules in a casino, especially their KYC rules, to avoid misunderstandings in the future.
That’s our responsibility because we’re supposed to check the agreement before we sign up with the casino. Once we do that, it’s assumed that we understand the TOS and agree with it, so we can’t really make excuses later.
However, in some cases, the casinos are not reliable, they readjust their rules to suit them. I have encountered a casino with plagiarism. The casino copied the rules of another casino into its own. Later on, there was a misunderstanding until they started making changes gradually on their own page. Such actions from casino, can ruin their reputation completely, even if they are not in for scam.
Adjusting the rules, especially if it’s not based on the standards set by regulators, is wrong and can already be considered an act of cheating, so they can definitely be reported for that.
And casinos that do that usually don’t even have a real license to begin with. Most of them are scammers from the start, just disguising themselves as legit by using fake license numbers or whatever they can show to look credible.
