0 balance after token swap

Hi guys,

Need some help with my recent transaction. After swapping some bnb for a token, the balance appeared for a short period of time in my wallet but then it started showing it as if I have 0 of that token.

Tried metamask, coinbase and couple of more wallets, they all show 0 balance for the token. Again the balance was showing correctly for a few seconds before going to 0.

Am I doing something wrong or is it some kind of scam. I can see other people being able to sell their tokens

This appears really strange to me as I have not seen anything of such all my time in crypto, I just carefully scanned through your address and the time and transaction approval of the moongirl token is showing there on the bsc scan, and that’s the only token available on your wallet added with the Bnb in it, but when I click on it, it’s showing zero just as you have explained above, but the balance which 502,800 of the token is showing on the over all balance. I even went ahead on saving and importing your address as watch only on my wallet and added the token through custom add still the same thing..

But I check out about few holders wallet, they happen to have it on there wallet and it’s visible, don’t know what made your own different.

The token is using BSC network, Metamask default wallet isn't supporting BSC network, while Coinbase wallet, I'm not really familiar with it. I suggest you import your seed phrase to Trust wallet, Safepal or any other wallet that support BSC network token.

As long as you can see your address are receive that token through blockchain, it means the swap exchange isn't scam.

Sometimes this is a bug from (Metamask).

I have something similar case for balance showing zero or wrongly showing the balance, maybe you can restart your metamask or try to re-intall the wallet. Don't forget to backup all of your wallet.

As long your fund in your address while you are checking on the explorer (everythings is fine) this is potential wallet buggy.

I have not encountered such an issue before, but your funds appear to be secure in my opinion. I believe this is likely just a minor glitch. I would suggest uninstalling the MetaMask extension and then reinstalling it, ensuring that you clear your cache as well. I hope this resolves the problem.

MetaMask wallet supports ethereum blockchain by default and you need to add BSC Network. https://academy.binance.com/en/articles/connecting-metamask-to-binance-smart-chain

Let's ignore whatever your wallet is displaying for a second. You said you used Pancakeswap and KyberSwap to buy the token, what happens if you try to sell it? Does one of these two exchanges display the funds to you? They should regardless of what your MetaMask is showing. If not, then it must be something related to the token itself.

Like some people here, I've never experienced something like what you have experienced, but as long as your $GIRL balance can be seen on the scanner then there's actually no error occurring on the wallet side you're using. Try to reinstall Metamask and then restore your wallet, if the problem still occurs, it's a good idea to try it on another device that you have. Also, don't forget to try displaying your $GIRL balance on the relevant network, you might miss some things.

Sounds scam to me. Last transfer/trade 10 hrs ago, 14 hrs ago 249 bnb worth GIRL token sell, top 3 holders having insane supply, day ago contract was deployed and not renounced and was modified later as well, this modification might got something to do with op's 0 bal problem.

It is possible that token that you are buying is a scam since when I last your transaction here https://bscscan.com/tx/0x25e599bc4813e195fa9f6252af987f482f9ae6a25265b83a7cad8a7f962cb000

it seems your address is 0x3dBfB786FA58ccF0EB05bfDa20D2967A962cE484 and then you buy by using BNB but after that token goes directly to this address 0x925768bB59f8b3E36897eC870cdf4788BA18f527 strange right it could be the dev design the token to automatically transfer to 0x925768bB59f8b3E36897eC870cdf4788BA18f527 this address but I dont know if this possible

Yes, i can attest to this on which sometimes i do really experience on having that 0 token balance on my MM even if it does have that balance on watching it on explorer.
@OP, have you able to import that TA of Moongirl? 0xF7B4FeB2D25975FFf347aD6Ccf5bE5BA16EE35A8 on Metamask?
Just like been said that you should really be on the right Blockchain on MM for you to be able to see that balance specially on Metamask.
Reinstalling or relaunching your browser and re-access that wallet extension would do its job most of the time.
