The World Cup 2026 is coming to an end by Sunday when Spain will face Argentina unfortunately. I hope Spain could do what the other teams failed to do and win the Cup. France and England will have a fight this Saturday.
After that, there is basically nothing left aside some games in UEFA Champions League and Europa and Conference leagues. UEFA Nations League will start on September and before that, on August 12, there is the UEFA Super Cup between Paris Saint-Germain and Aston Villa.
There are also some super cup in each league like the FA Community Shield but these are local ones.

Third position - France.

Spain is good, but Messi can find a loopholes owned by Spain. So i think Argentina will win defend their title again. The fact that it's gonna be the same result like when most people were favoring England over Argentina.
Messi will lift his 2nd world cup soon. Seeing the way they played today makes me feel so confidence with it.

I didn't expect England to score 6 goals in this match. England went 4-0 up in the first half but in the second half France scored 4 goals and England scored 2 more. Anyway today will be the final match where both teams are strong. Argentina is my favorite team so I want Argentina to be the champions.

Third place game France took on England's team crazy game. 10 goals 6 from England and 4 from France. As the game started Declan Rice scored a goal in the 3rd minute, in the 18th minute Konsa scored the header and England are now 2 goals lead in just 18 minutes.  Saka scored a brace in the first half 37 and 45+1 making it 4-0 for England in the first half. As the 2nd half started France charged  Mbappe scored a brace 48th and 66th minute . In the 54th minute barcola scored. In the 87th minute England won a penalty and Saka completed his hat-trick making it 5-3 Dembele scored 4th goal in the added minutes 90+6 and just after 2 minutes 90+8 Bellingham scored making it 4-6 to England. England dominated with 54% possession 2.88xG and 7 big chances created on the other hand France with 46% possession created 6 big chances and 2.88 xG. Mbappe was named as player of the match.

The whole game wasn't much of a surprise really since the two teams are actually not even playing for the main price and were just playing for the third which for most of the guys would have even drained their mentality and for me I believe that the reason for the plenty goals that was scored although France later stepped up and had to correct some things since the game would be a very bad way to go out .

Looking at the starting lineup Lionel Messi and Rodrigo De Paul are out. I believe it was due to the strain of losing to Spain in the World Cup so both these Argentian players have taken some time off from playing for their team.
I wouldn't doubt the majority of the players from the Argentina squad will be doing the exact same on their respective professional leagues aswell.

Looking at the starting lineup Lionel Messi and Rodrigo De Paul are out. I believe it was due to the strain of losing to Spain in the World Cup so both these Argentian players have taken some time off from playing for their team.

Obviously, there was no way they would have had to endure a long season, only to play the World Cup in the international breaks and suddenly would be back to play the friendlies. Thats of no importance to them right now and they’ve got to take the time out to rest and go on vacations, it’s being an enduring World Cup and the finals was an exhausting one for them and their Argentina side.

At the moment, Inter Miami are loosing by a goal to Chicago Fire. It’s of no surprise though but, they’ve got time.
