 I am not saying that motivation should take the place of wisdom; you must be wise to know if you are failing on something worthwhile so it does not become working hard in the wrong direction.

You said it right OP,  I'll add that its not only  by clapping for them, but by learning from them.  You've to be humble enough to learn what they're doing better than you, how they're doing it and if possible, learn positive attitude that they display towards their business that's soaring it. Armed with  those knowledge, you can bring it home to your own business and improve the way you handle yours. Be reminded that you cannot be doing something the same way always and be expecting a different result. There's need for upgrade and change of strategy when its obvious your old strategy isn't working anymore. You also need to remain focused in your own hustle and not switch career or business simply because your friends businesses are seeming more productive. Appreciate them, learn from them and move on with the belief that your time is coming.

But do you know that there are friends and relatives whose dreams and prayers in life is for you to fail.

And the moment you fail, they have succeeded. they will be so happy because they have achieved their lifetime ambition.

Personally, I hate to admit that someone is planning or praying for my downfall cos it saps productiveness out of me. I like being positive and having consistent desire for progress. Having the mindset that someone is against you will always give you an excuse where you should put in the extra effort needed to succeed.

One thing I've always known is that consistency and hard work leads to success, always be positive about yourself. Witchcraft and manipulation has expiry date but God's blessings don't. You also need to be prepared at all times for opportunities cos they present themselves in  patterns you least expect. Just believe, work hard, don't envy, be diligent, learn, continue improving yourself and success is sure for you.

My own opinion be say no be everybody go make am big financially. Even  success in life is relative and must not only be financially. There are other aspect to life. For the main time when it seems there’s no way and everything seem difficult, it doesn’t mean the world is against you or you’re not trying your best. People are bound to experience life struggle which is also part of the process. Nothing good comes easy just so we know, every good development started with a struggle. Even the world richest men in the world experienced some set backs before getting to their current level. So going through hard times is also part of the process for it builds character, we all learn either ways the hard way or the simple way.

For something to happen in your life you have to make some sacrifices. People pay for value. If you add value to your life people will come looking for you naturally and they will pay and that's how success comes. If I see someone doing something that I like and it's working for them I often approach them and asked to show me how they are doing it. Na person wey understand say life is timing na go fit succeed to wait for him own turn, many people don do things to make ahm by all means when e never reach their time. Thank you brother for this motivation. Nothing is more relatable than the fact that we are always trying to compete and compare ourselves to people who seem as though they are better than us. Reading this made me realize that we may all be running a race, but it's not the same race. We may be able to measure ourselves but we can't be compared cause we don't use the same scale. That person that you think is better than you, may look at you and think you have something he/she doesn't have. Life's mystery that you can work harder and smarter than others but they'd succeed before you, that's not really magical but the reality of life that says your time would come at when due and when it's that time nothing would stop you from making it a success.

No matter how it is i will never give my enemy a chance to laugh at me or to succeed in my head, life na turn by turn and that is what we should always think all the time, some people can make it in an easy way and some people will make it in hard way, many people who are among your lover that always want to give up and they should use the opportunity to succeed, this thread make me remember one of my best friend that is always jealous of me and I didn’t notice because I don’t always think of him will do such thing or jealous of me, I give him anything he come to borrow from me and I won’t ask him for it back and at the end he went and be talking bad about me that I wasn’t a good friend and he pray where I get money should close that’s when i will realise my mistakes.
