Information campaigns could only go so far. There has to be a widespread protest/campaign with the clear intention of mind you "not painting bitcoin in a good light" cause that would lead people into thinking that we are spreading propaganda to lure people into what they could only see as a glorified ponzi scheme, but to actually just clear out bad air around bitcoin and destroy fallacious or misconceptions about it. If we can only do that with the government's help that would be great since corrupt as they may be, the public still has a fair amount of trust over their government, but as it stands today that's next to impossible considering that a lot of countries either don't have clear set rules about crypto, or are just outrightly banning them to avoid further discussion.

In some parts of the world, there are a large number of people who have no proper knowledge about Bitcoin and have been misled because of their lack of knowledge. That's why they have such a bad impression of Bitcoin. Although we cannot help everyone at once, it's just a kind of gradual process where you have to properly educate anybody you come across who has a misconception about Bitcoin. Like you said, if you ask some people about Bitcoin and many of them don't know about it, if you want to educate them, you can equally organize a Bitcoin meeting where you have to properly educate them all about Bitcoin. I did attend some seminars where I really learned a few things about Bitcoin, which got me to really give it my full attention. You can equally organize a small class for them, and if they learn well, they can equally teach others, and by so doing, the knowledge will spread gradually.
Yes, what you have said is the truth. The number of people who haven't heard about Bitcoin or don't have good knowledge about Bitcoin is bigger than the one that truly know about Bitcoin and what it means. Some people who have misconceptions about Bitcoin might have gotten the wrong ideas from people who have low ideas about Bitcoin and this is spreading wrong information about Bitcoin.

Organizing or attending a Bitcoin class is a very good idea, it will help people to know and gather good information about Bitcoin. Some people who failed to learn about Bitcoin find it so difficult sometimes when they come across things that they have never seen before they get confused although outside online, it is very hard to find a legit Bitcoin class in some society.

If the first approach was about being quick rich during the explanation of Bitcoin, these people would regret it later. If Bitcoin wereintroduced properly and described how it actually works, then anyone shouldn't regret it. Because they are aware of how it works. For very new investors, especially those who don't have clear financial knowledge, it might be hard to convince them to make a Bitcoin investment. Because when they notice the volatility, they might be afraid to invest. We have to explain that Bitcoin as a currency exists just virtually, and for a long time we can invest to get profit from that.

This brought me into thinking how do we make people understand Bitcoin properly in order to prevent them from being scammed and end up disliking the crypto space. Is introducing them into Bitcoin talk enough ? If no what else more can we do easily to make them actually get the idea of Bitcoin.

Nothing. If a person is not interested on your first approach, just don't bother to force him to get interested in bitcoin. If they got scammed before, just tell him how bitcoin works and what was his mistake on why he ended up being scammed. There's nothing much we can do if a person is not interested or became less interested because they are scammed. Not unless, if they themselves decides to learn further.
That get rich quick mindset should also be eradicated in their minds, that's another major reason why they are susceptible to scammers. I've seen a lot of people who's has the same mindset and yeah they got scammed eventually. Can't do nothing much about it lol.

There are alot of reasons people fear investing in Bitcoin especially in my locality. These reasons are numerous ranging from fear of losses , scams , security issues and lots more .I got to understand this by asking a couple of persons what they knew about Bitcoin and if they had any intention of investing sonner . about 98% of them had heard about Bitcoin but only about 10% really understood what Bitcoin was . Of what I could understand I discovered that over 50% of them understood Bitcoin as a get Rich quick scheme which was why most of them thought of it as a scam because they had been scammed through their false idea of Bitcoin as a get Rich quick scheme.
The others which had idea about Bitcoin I discovered were  investors in the Bitcoin space.

This brought me into thinking how do we make people understand Bitcoin properly in order to prevent them from being scammed and end up disliking the crypto space. Is introducing them into Bitcoin talk enough ? If no what else more can we do easily to make them actually get the idea of Bitcoin.
Had already tried on introducing things to other people but ending up on having those kind of common impressions on which they do really believe that Bitcoin is indeed a scam without even trying out to realize that it was really just a tool that being used simply the same as fiat with those common scam or modus schemes that we do have on in the past. It did really just turn out that they dont really have any idea on what Bitcoin or crypto is and on the time that they had able to experienced those bad things then this is where they would really be making out those kind of conclusions that it is indeed a scam coin and should really be avoided. Some people open minded and welcome up those new information and make out some significant change but we know that there are people who are really that close minded on which on the time that they would really be able to finalize up somethings then this is where it would really be ending up and never ever tend to touch it up once again once they would be hearing it out. Therefore, the best thing to do is not to do something, just let them be on believing on what they do believe because on the time that it would become a trend or mainstream then this is where they would really be starting on showing those regrets that they had missed out earlier.

People already have a fixed idea, and because of that fixed idea they will always go with what people say regardless of the risk behind the info and forget that the same information can be wrong and that the majority don't even care about research most people don't even know the purpose of bitcoin all they care about is buy usdt or any stable paired then the next thing is to buy bitcoin, and only very few people ask question the rest are always calculating if the price should hit their target that's all they are thinking about, aside money bitcoin is an environment everyone can enjoy.

Bitcointalk forum is a great help already. It could be a good avenue where you can correct your wrong perceptions about bitcoin and find out what’s the truth behind it. However, I can’t tell that this forum is enough. Sometimes we need people to experience bitcoin first either through investing or trading, because whatever the outcome of it, that would influence these people about the reality of bitcoin and that it can’t be a get rich quick tool just like everyone else is thinking. Sometimes we need people to fail and lose on their bitcoin investments so that they will invest with caution realizing that bitcoin is a high risk asset that needs more careful analysis and preparation.

Yes, many people heard about bitcoin but there don’t actually know what bitcoin is about, while some have few knowledge about bitcoin but are afraid of falling in the hand of scammers due to the high level of scammers now a day, my opinion here is that you should never force a person to invest in bitcoin, but only educate him/she and also tell the person you are educating that bitcoin is not a short time investment but a long time investment, because many people now a day just want to make money fast but some don’t have the patience it takes to make money fast that is the main reason why most people are afraid of investing in bitcoin, and also when educating make sure you tell whom you are educating That he or she will invest what he/she knows he/she can lose, because when you want to encourage or advise someone to join bitcoin you have to open up the necessary and possible positive  and negative aspects of bitcoin and also the complications that may arise as a result of negligence, so that even if the user loses he/she will not blame you.

The first time I was introduced to Bitcoin, the person who introduced me said and I quote "don't engage in a business you don't understand", hence get as much information as possible/needed as it concerns the business or investment you want to venture into as not understand standing it exposes you to either been on the loosing side or stand a chance of been defrauded or scammed as the case may be.

Considering the above proper Orientation before coming into the Bitcoin space can not be overly emphasised, as contrary to other knowledge of Bitcoin been a get rich quick scheme or a means for scamming and all that which is definitely wrong, Orientation/education will help change their perspective as to what Bitcoin actually is and how investment on Bitcoin can be done properly to get the desired results expected. This orientation/education can be carried out on various platforms which includes, telegram, X-space, zoom calls etc and here on Bitcoin talk. Introducing them to Bitcoin talk alone might not be enough as some persons can be very slow with learning.

It doesn't matter what your introducing them to. If they haven't seen the need or convinced themselves that this is good for them, you would be as well introducing another dormant person unto the forum.
I think you need to understand that it's never compulsory for everyone to be vested in cryptocurrency or on the forum. You jut have to let them grow there own interest and for most, a first introduction is the best you could do for them. Though they might not jump right ahead to invest, it might even take them years but, when the bulls come in and the market starts to boom, you would easily find them running back to you for a recap.

Then, they would have learned 2 good important lessons;
Time is of the essence to profiting from an investment and
Bitcoin isn't a scam but a currency of great potential.

Let them find themselves at times.

Actually, what you said is right, but advising or encouraging someone to invest in bitcoin is a bad idea, in my opinion. Did you know that if you are encouraging someone to invest in bitcoin, you won’t tell them the risk involved because you are encouraging them, and telling them the risk may affect your encouragement, so they will not be as convinced as you want? So the only thing left is to educate anyone who wants to invest in bitcoin.

However, I think advising someone to invest in bitcoin is also not a good idea, but if you let him know the existence of the investment if he wishes to do it, then you can now educate him about the risk he will take while investing in bitcoin because not everybody can take the risk involved in the investment, so telling them the risk will determine how ready they are for the investment.

You are right that support is often given with a bias toward the positive. You can't just say, "Hey, start using Bitcoin because it's the future!" Then you say, "But hey, you could also lose all your money". Talk about sending mixed messages, right?

I love to talk about the good, the bad, and the ugly of cryptocurrency as a bitcoin enthusiast. It does people no good to support them without also teaching them. If they're still excited about it after knowing the risks, then everyone wins, right?

In the end? Tell them it exist. Tell them that its like out there, with lots of scammer, hackers and thieves. Let them decide for themselves if they want to wear cowboy hats and take part in the journey.

This brought me into thinking how do we make people understand Bitcoin properly in order to prevent them from being scammed and end up disliking the crypto space. Is introducing them into Bitcoin talk enough ? If no what else more can we do easily to make them actually get the idea of Bitcoin.

To answer your question, in my opinion, first and foremost, find the right person/people, if you just pick random people who doesn't actually need bitcoin, you will be forced to sell them Bitcoin as highly profitable investment because that's the easiest way to make anyone interested, and that will give them the wrong idea and motivation to get into Bitcoin.

If you actually want to introduce people to Bitcoin, find someone who actually needs Bitcoin as currency, maybe someone who do international transaction, they will be interested if you tell them there is a new kind of currency that is not controlled by any entity, the transaction is seamless and the fee is quite low.

Yes, that's true, but as a Bitcoiner who already has good knowledge about Bitcoin, you can teach others. You can just gather a few people who you know don't have proper knowledge about Bitcoin but are interested in it. You can organize a small class and educate them, and if they have learned, they can also teach others who don't know about Bitcoin.

The seminar I attended in school was organized by some individuals who have good knowledge about Bitcoin, and they just wanted to make an impact in the lives of the students, so they decided to print some flyers to announce that there would be a Bitcoin education meeting on an agreed date. So, you can take such an approach if you want to teach other people about Bitcoin.

Indeed, the strongest reason that makes someone afraid to invest in bitcoin is because of the person's limited insight into bitcoin. Lack of insight certainly means someone will not understand Bitcoin itself. But we also can't force them to learn bitcoin. Because they will only start to be interested in learning about bitcoin if they are really curious about bitcoin. Usually curiosity arises after they see someone successful from bitcoin. So now we just have to focus more on ourselves in investing in bitcoin. And after we have many advantages, then we can make them curious and interested in following us. And they will definitely start learning it. Those who misunderstand bitcoin are those who receive wrong information and from the wrong media or news that vilifies bitcoin.

I like your idea and it is the one I believe is the most effective, so far. How can we give advice or tell people that they should invest in bitcoin because it will bring them great benefits while we also don't have any outstanding achievements with bitcoin investment? If it were me, I wouldn't listen to someone's advice to get rich if they don't have any achievements or have a lower income than me. Such is life and that's why the rich always have more say than us.

Sometimes we are kind enough to help them, but they will never believe us if we don't have real evidence. I understand the OP's intention but I wouldn't spend time sharing or convincing someone about bitcoin. Instead, I will focus on my investments, when I have positive financial changes, they will come to me to ask me to teach them about bitcoin.

Well it's actually true that if you want to learn something, you'll have to find a group of people who also shared the same interest as you because learning Bitcoin might sound forced. But I think this is only applicable to people who's open to interact with other people or what we call extroverts (if it's not online) cause for me it's too hassle to talk with other people so I've done my own research, but I joined into legit fellow people who started early and willing to assist newbies and group pages posting updates about BTC.

I actually pick people to introduced BTC, like my friend who's good at gambling and due to high amount of winnings he's planning what to do with the winning money so I introduced to him BTC as investment. By just simply telling it's worth profiting it would get them curious of course warned them about the risk

Me either, it's frustrating before when there seemed to be people looking interest in Bitcoin but then you just get tired telling and introducing it.
As I am picking, there's no one that's approaching him despite they're risk takers as well.
I'm just trying to avoid them or they're trying to avoid me because I'm giving so much space away from them because I don't think it's worth it to talk to them if it's related to Bitcoin.

Seek and you shall find, if you aren't ready to go looking for answers you will never understand Bitcoin and Crypto in general, no one comes into the world with the knowledge of crypto, we get onto the world and people start building if you don't know anything you have to learn, I can't help people who are not ready to learn, they are trapped in whatever they believe in and not learning means they want to be right always.

I've come to understand that the difference between myself and many people in the world is the ability to explore and learn what you don't know, I think this is why the majority of people are in one position, they don't want to grow or they aren't just ready to grow.

If someone needs something like Bitcoin as a currency, they will be willing to learn and my door is always open for such people, it's boring not to talk about Bitcoin and crypto, I love having such discussions in the real world.
