The iPhones battery is not designed to be replaced therefore it is disposable.
I get an influencer making money on it but I know about 150 iphone owners from 10 to 77. About 90% could use a samsung a54 and get along fine.
Many of them dont own an apple pc of any kind . Thus making it even stupider to get the iphone.
I am still rocking 3 mac minis and typing on an ipad mini as I type.
According to their support you can have a replace of the battery if it gets its health below 80% but probably this is for later iPhones like X above. Yeah not that many actually needed to use it but just a preference they have for it. The MacBook though comes in handy because I kind of prefer MacOS than Windows OS, because of malwares |

I think most people are smart and won't buy another iPhone that is no different from the previous one. Bitcoin is much more valuable in this regard.

Yes, I agree with you on this very statement of yours @ Sir Brainboss, regarding the importance of Bitcoin and its ability to skyrocket in value with time, and as such, appreciate you for creating this thread as an avenue to help people make the right decision/choice on the new release of the latest iPhone 15, as people will be eager to buy or swap with an old phone, and hence end up making the wrong decision over a liability whose value will only depreciate over time, unlike Bitcoin capable of skyrocketing higher as time goes on, which is why I call it a worthy asset for future investment. |

Although I agree with the cogent points raised by the OP, well I will not keep to it completely. Some of these toys are what makes life easy, and fun..They bring joy no matter how little. And if I can add an ounce of ease, joy and happiness to my life through the purchase of these new Apple toys, I will.
We shouldn't think that when we buy these toys we automatically forget about investing in Bitcoin. Anyone whose DCAing would have no problem with other aspects of their lives. Because the DCA strategy sets the tone for how you fix up the rest of your life. YOLO, so make the best of it whatever way you see fit.

its a good thing to sensitize people on the kind of decisions to make. at this point i dont really see any need for me to dump my BTC and go buy the latest apple product. but you know some people are phone freak and also the brand is what some people like. we cant really stop anyone from enjoying what they like but we are just saying if its possible to make a choice and think of next 1 year then the best is to hodl some BTC and be patient.

Wise people will invest in things that will give them profit in the future so people like these would not think twice in investingi n Bitcoin. Technology is bound to be obsolete so smart people wait for some time probably a year before buying the new release since its price might have gone down by that time.
Aside from that, aside from flexing and bragging, I do not think that there is really a reason to buy very expensive gadget where a cheaper one is available that can perform the same function of the expensive one.

A very nice article I have read above. Thank you for putting this together and I believe it will also shaping the mind of people who would want to understand but there are people who are strictly adamant to luxury and they would not give listening ears to this. I believe you are only using Apple devices as example because they are expensive set of devices. There are other mobile devices like the brand of Samsung which is also expensive. Instead of looking down on Apple and its products, I am instead seeing the potential of bitcoin to fight against inflation. The picture above is a very big proof that bitcoin is a coin that does not bow easily to inflexion. But then anyone that has the money to buy these phones should also buy. The reason for buying bitcoin and investing is to make the life easy and have some fun while living comfortable. So it must not always be investment. There should be a kind of comfortability and if buying apple devices give the person that joy and comfort, they should go ahead and buy the devices. |

Well, the chart is applied for everything you bought before say 5 years ago and the value of it on todays bitcoin price, so won't argue about it.
Well, buying iphone is a good example because i'm one those homies who see apple products are just overpriced with late feature upgrades and wont consider buying it even if i have the financial capability to do it, i will go to cheaper with the same specs and 2x cheaper.

Crazy to see people fall in line with those nonsense material things since we don't actually need it and that is just a total waste of money. If they could just invest that money on bitcoin or maybe on other useful options maybe they can get the best result for the money they spent but they let the hype eat them and make those materials as status symbol. For sure those struggling people will regret to buy that items since they cannot sell it the same on the price which they bought it. Investments is important nowadays so hopefully these guys know what are the things more important to consider. |

Ive also seen some videos about the durability test of the new iPhone and it is worse as they said as the back case is easily broken but yet they said that it ain't no problem as you can change it for $200. People really want to buy what they want and that is their money. They are not thinking about practically buying a cheaper phone with the same function and the extra money to be invested in or for their needs. Ive seen people right now that are showing off it on social media and others are jealous that they have it. I am just glad that I do not have the same mindset as those people. |

Bruh, this company lives because millions are buying their products. They've been the same for quite some time, and I don't think that's gonna change soon. If people around you aren't buying iPhones it doesn't mean that most of their customers will stop buying them. Oh yeah. I post a lot on mac rumors constantly dissing 1 product the iPhone. Mind you i like the ipad mini and the mac mini. So i am anti one product that is the iphone 📱 I make a lot of people angry because I ask them what can their 1000+ dollar iphone can do as compared to my 300+ dollar plus samsung a54. most do not have a good answer . here is one at the end of the day it is a 300 dollar phone. my come back is that does 95 to 98 percent the same as your 1000 dollar phone. In my case I need three phones to run my mining business. So I spend 900 vs 3000 every 2-3 years. This is a simple no brainer for me. |

We're in September which is the period which Apple flood the market with their new toys and people make the mistakes of throwing away money every year on these items. Why would anyone buy something that'll be devalued in about 12 months time because around this time next year Apple will be releasing a new set of devices and an upgrade of what will be released this year. Instead of buying those devices now, you can use that money for something more reasonable by investing that money in Bitcoin. The price of Bitcoin is low currently which is another reason to make use of this opportunity to invest in Bitcoin. Those that bought bitcoin and ignored the latest iphone during the period those previous model above (in the image) were launched have made a better financial decision and anybody thinking of getting the new iphone when you already have a perfectly working phone should rethink that decision and invest the money in buying Bitcoin. You'll be getting around BTC0.031 +/- which will be worth more in the future than the amount you'll spend to buy it while that new Iphone will lose value in the next 12 months. if you really what to get something relating to apple then buy their stocks instead of the devices (that's another means of diversifying your portfolio, if you think you already have enough Bitcoin secured for the future). Just imagine the profits that would have been if those that bought the new iphone during the release date of those model above bought bitcoin instead. Avoid making same mistakes and choose bitcoin. You have a brilliant idea as well. If it what makes us happy and we know we can afford it, then why not? Buying Apple toys does not mean it’s our priority, but rather it’s one way of motivating ourselves to work hard and invest hard so we can have something to spend in the future. But if you can do both, investing in bitcoin and at the same time buying some Apple toys, I think that will be more life’s satisfying. |

Really a good analysis and insights covering comparison of Apple gadgets and Bitcoin. This shows how bitcoin has gain not just its price but also the user experiences. One, must thinking on investing in Bitcoin rather than buying those expensive gadgets. I feel, this is not just about apple devices but also other expansive things which we can ignore and move towards buying some amount of bitcoin. The only reason how things like this can go bad is when we force our financial capacity to buy things like these Apple toys. It is never good to compromise much important things for things we don't particularly need, like spending all of our savings just to buy a new phone despite not completely needing it. Buying stuff like these isn't bad as long as it is still a smart purchase. |

Any investment is probably better than buying any apple products. You can create a similar chart using apple’s stock price. Don’t buy apple products, buy aapl instead so you can buy lots apple products for free. Buying bitcoin is also a good idea since bitcoin is a deflationary currency but i think this idea works better on stocks. If you like to drink cola for example, instead of consuming lots of cola, buy some stocks of pepsi or coca-cola. (Whichever is your favorite) In the long run, these stocks will produce you so much money, you will be able to buy as much coke as you want.
Another idea is buying the coinbase stock. If you like to trade crypto, buy COIN instead because this company is getting rich collecting fees from traders.

Wise decision! Some people buy the latest gadgets to show off or prefer Apple's user interface. Frankly, I can afford it, too, but I will not purchase nor be interested in getting the latest iPhones. Some Android phones and a little crypto-currency for the Bull Run are enough. I would enjoy it rather than using too much expensive stuff. Though I'm not opposed to the people who want the latest Apple gadgets. Your money, your choice.
