New scam attempt by newbie

Whats happened:
I received a telegram notification about a new airdrop claim which is not announced officially yet. I realized something suspicious from the notification. when I opened the thread then my suspicion turned out to be correct. This scammer shared a fake phishing website. The website required wallet connect to claim airdrop. it is clear that it's a scam attempt and by connecting wallet wallet funds will be washed out. I request everyone to tag this scammer and also create a flag to save newbies funds. Account is fully new created and I think he will spam more.

Why didn't you start it yourself? You haven't tagged the scammer or created the flag. If you are so clear about it, you should have at least tagged him. Asking others to do it without doing it yourself doesn't sound very coherent to me.

That may be because OP isn't a DT member and thinks that his/her feedback won't be noticed.

To OP:
If you believe that someone should given a negative trust, leave a negative feedback. Your feedback will be shown as an untrusted feedback, but that's better than nothing and who knows? Some users may add you to their trust list in the future and you may be a DT member one day.

Actually I was thinking as hosseinimr93 mentioned that my feedback will not appeared on the profile which will not bring good results and my aim is to warn member which is only possible if DT member tag it.

Regardless of your DT status, here I encourage you to start tagging accounts when you are sure they are scams. Over time, if it turns out that your assessments are good, you will quickly reach at least the DT2 list. So, based on your trust/distrust list and the feedback you leave, others can better evaluate you.
In such scam accusations, always notice that you tagged that user and that (if) you possibly created the tag.

note: I am going to tag the account mentioned from OP to be visible.

I just noticed that the airdrop free thread has disappeared. I don't know if he deleted it or for some reason he has been banned. It should be the former because scams are not moderated. I guess it was when he saw the tags and this thread.

Thank you, OP, for this thread.

He created a topic again today for the same phishing link after his first topic was deleted. He is now asking the bounty hunters to connect their wallets and approve sign messages in order to receive five stakes per week to be eligible for $5,000 cyber coins. This is a lie, and I hope that none of the hunters believe this scammer and do what he asks of them.

What's the point of him being polite? It's obvious that he's already aware of what he's doing and has seen that he has been caught in the act, but he did not expect a quick response from members here on the forum.

It just keeps on suppressing me how some scammers do think that they can come to a crypto forum as big as Bitcoin Talk and just post any link and don't expect anyone to investigate what's truly behind that link; they don't really think straight on their mode of scam attempt.

Scams aren't moderated, but posts (or threads) spamming links to phishing sites are often deleted by mods.  I've reported plenty of threads and posts for that reason, and have yet to see one not get deleted.  I don't know if that's what happened to this scammer's thread, though.

Since the topic deletion has been recorded in the modlog, it has been deleted by moderators, not the user.

I saw that the @Airdrop free account was active today. His posts may be deleted by the moderator, it doesn't mean he will stop his activity, he will resume his activity when he gets another chance. This user should be banned to keep the forum clean so that he can't promote this kind of phishing link in the forum again. Because we have seen many such members in the past who came to the forum and promoted various scams and ended their activities by getting banned. This user will continue such activities until he is banned.
