What is difference between public and private key?
Bitcoin public key generates an address, but bitcoin private key will generate bitcoin public key. Bitcoin private key starts from 5, K or L, while bitcoin public key start from 02, 03, or 04. 5 (private key) and 04 (public key) for uncompressed bitcoin addresses. Master private key generates the master public key. The master public key generates bitcoin addresses. Master private key start from xprv for legacy addresses, yprv for nested segwit addresses while zprv for native segwit. The master public key start from xpub, xpub or zpub.

This kind of questions have definitely been treated here before since this is a bitcoin discussion forum. And the way your thread goes I don’t understand maybe it is kind of a question or you want to also share a knowledge. But if it is the later then be rest assured that it has been treated already. If it is the former then I would refer you to this bitcoin mastering book and also to this site called learnmeabitcoin.com

Public address is like your house address to receive mails, gifts, whatever and everyone knows your address can send mails, gifts to that address. If they know your Bitcoin public address, they can send bitcoin to it.
But you receive bitcoin or not, it depends on whether you still have access to a wallet that contains the public address or its private key. If you lose it, you don't receive the bitcoins.
A Bitcoin private key is like your signature or your house key. If you want to enter your house, you need the key. If you want to send your bitcoins, you need a Bitcoin private key to sign that transaction.
With a Bitcoin private key, you can recover your wallet and the corresponding public key and public address.
For technical clarification, read it on Learnmeabitcoin and Mastering Bitcoin book (Chapter 4). Links are above already.

I read the questions and answers at the link I provided, and the article was written by a person who has little experience with Bitcoin and encryption, and some of the answers are incorrect. Large volumes are generally quickly authenticated rather than smaller transactions. This is not true. Confirmation of Bitcoin transactions is not given priority based on their volumes, but rather on the fees paid. The higher they are, the greater their chance of being included in the next block. Sometimes the fee for sending a million dollars in Bitcoin is equal to $1, and sending $10 costs $2. Funds that haven’ to been authenticated by miner are known as unconfirmed transaction and goes back into the sender’s wallet.
Generally, it doesn’t happen. It takes 10 minutes for authentication only. In some cases where there is extreme traffic, it has been reported to lasting even for 1 hr. This is not true. After signing the transaction, it is broadcast to mempool of the contract. This mempool is the place from which the miner takes the transactions to include them in the block after mining the block. As long as you continue broadcasting the transaction, it will be confirmed, but it will not return to your wallet after an hour. They help to keep the security system clean and keep the brand from earning any dubious distinction. It also minimizes the chances of double-spending of Bitcoins. there is no relationship between Full Node and minimizes the chances of double-spending All answers require revision.

As long as you continue broadcasting the transaction, it will be confirmed, but it will not return to your wallet after an hour.
The miner includes the transaction in his candidate block and this is done by all miners competing for the next block. Adding of a transaction to a block is not done after mining but before. There is also no guarantee that a transaction will be confirmed even if you keep broadcasting it, but you're right that it will take far longer than an hour for it to be dropped from majority mempools, the most universal time is 2 weeks. The Bitcoin does not have to be returned to the wallet cause the transaction was unconfirmed and they never left.

I have an idea, these sorts of questions should be asked before registering on this forum. And if a user gets none correct, get him a Brand New Rank. If the user gets 5/10 correct, give Newbie Rank and if all is correct, then give Junior Member Role.
All the next rank-ups are indeed merit-based so it's not like he/she can abuse this system. And this way, people will actually search and try to find the actual answers which will lead to them reading more about Bitcoin.

What is difference between public and private key? What is Bitcoin address? How do I receive a Bitcoin? What is Bitcoin trust? This is good and there's nothing bad in giving the informative knowledge on the newbies coming to this forum, also know that alot of these questions asked had already been discussed and answers have been provided to them before, just as it has been suggested already, it's more better going through the material bitcoin materials for newbies, also if we are to consider what the newbies needed first, this may not be the first and foremost to begin with for a beginner, there are many to discover on beginners and help board or through the use of the search button, also here's a recommendation on beginners and help encyclopedia you could learn broader. If the user gets 5/10 correct, give Newbie Rank and if all is correct, then give Junior Member Role. Everyone can then enter as a junior rank since the answer can be researched on the internet. This is like a free rank-up question-and-answer promotion. However, this should be under a time trial pressure. Let us say 20 random Bitcoin-related questions to answer under 5 minutes duration. I believe this can be explioited by account farmers to have their newly created account to have a step ahead and registered as Junior Member instead of just a Newbie Rank. Yes, this could be seriously abused. Even with a restricted timeframe, there's no reason why someone couldn't prepare their answers in advance. Given the limited number of questions, they could simply access the registration multiple times, write down all the questions that come up, and then research and prepare all the answers at their peace. Once they have all the answers, there's no issue with creating numerous accounts one after the other.

What is difference between public and private key? What is Bitcoin address? How do I receive a Bitcoin? What is Bitcoin trust? ................. How to receive Bitcoin simply provide the sender with your Bitcoin address which you can find in your bitcoin wallet. What is your answer for first and second questions?
You actually asked 4 questions then How can you say answer the first and second questions only? well, maybe I am interpreting your post wrong. But here is the answers to all of your simple questions. I hope they will help you to understand them easily. 1. Public key is visible to everyone else. For example, you wanted to send some money to another person but you need a public key, then you can use the PK (public key) to send money and you can also use PK for encryption and decryption purposes. But the Private Key (Pr K) if shared with others, then they could easily access your wallet and the assets it holds too. You have to understand one thing that; "Not your key, not your coins" If you tend to follow this rule then you will be safe from almost big scams. 2. Bitcoin address, is a alphanumeric address which consists of almost 35 letters maximum (varies according to the security level and network you are using). Well, the address is sued to identify one's wallet from other, Because two wallets can not have the same wallet address for BTC. And you do need a wallet address to send and receive the BTC from one wallet to another wallet. 3. You can receive BTC if someone sends you. 4. answer to this question, is better if you listen from others.

What is difference between public and private key? What is Bitcoin address? How do I receive a Bitcoin? What is Bitcoin trust?
Where do I send the Bitcoin?, In your Bitcoin Address, what is Bitcoin address, it is also known as public key which is what you will give to the person who will give or send you a BTC or when they send a payment to another person. What is private key?, Private key is what you will need or what you will use to access the wallet so that you can send BTC or do transactions. Yiu should do your own research to understand more especially about wallet security.

But he made a topic here instead of doing his own research on such simple queries. I think he liked spoon-feeding. That's why he abruptly asked these questions here on BTT. Well, why don't we just give him the answers the way he likes? I hope he will learn something new that he might not learn from the articles or Google search engine. You have mentioned some good links to read, I hope OP will read these threads, and try to get some extra knowledge. Because many members, have already replies each question accordingly, and some members have mentioned some links and websites links from where the OP can learn but I doubt if OP would prefer or a reader because most of us are not good readers and don't really wanted to learn and read that much when we were at his stage.

This thread is confusing, mate. I don’t actually know the message you are willing to pass to the general public; nevertheless, if it is a discussion about the trustworthiness of Bitcoin, this forum is the right place to start the discussion because the forum is created for Bitcoin discussion and information related to Bitcoin and cryptocurrency around the globe. What is difference between public and private key? What is Bitcoin address? How do I receive a Bitcoin? What is Bitcoin trust?
Many users will have different explanations about these, all of which will be right and useful to you, but for easy and better explanations about these, use learnmeabitcoin.com, where all the explanations you need are well elaborated. Moreover, if you have further questions, you can ask them here, and the forum users will enlighten you more about them.

What I'm trying to understand is what you are hoping to achieve with these questions, Op. If you are meaning to have your knowledge of Bitcoin tested, why not try this questions created by @zasad here. This is the beginners and help board but you didn't need to present this very preschool questions up as an interview? Well, @Hyphen supplied a helpful link for which to help broaden your knowledge of Bitcoin.

The first respondent have answered you the difference between private key and public key and the way of getting bitcoin is a general thing that doesn't required research to be done before you can have bitcoin except that you are using indirect way to ask on how to to earn bitcoin in the forum, so if you are asking such questions that means you have to work very well and make a research to understand properly the way forward of bitcoin, and again, buying of bitcoin is with your money when you have money you will buy bitcoin through p2p so buying a bitcoin is not an issue

OP, this is not an interview because I don't see it as one. You have been provided with so many answers above by experts, including links. I would like you to read them and understand the differences between public keys, private keys and bit coin address. As it has been mentioned above by other members that posted before me, public keys is used to generate your bitcoin address. The address is what you use in other to transfer bitcoin to your wallet. While the private keys is your access to your bitcoin.

OP Why not ask questions like, "can we generate more than one key phrase"? Or "can our Bitcoin address be used by hackers to hack our wallet"? Since you're a newbie or new to Bitcoin world...

This an interview in op sight so you are not going to blame op because what I understand in forum is that everyone have a license or freedom of speech and I believe other people who give out their opinion do that because they want to, is not that their opinion supercedes other people's opinions, bitcoin interview for him is like answering a question that the link of the questions and answers is already there, if op should go through the link drops by op, it will understand very better by throwing the questions to everyone

The Mastering Bitcoin is full resource that you can have with you to learn all the basics as well as technical aspects also I would say but still if you have doubts this forum is open for discussions but I would also suggest newbies to search for related threads beforehand making more similar threads that don't contribute anything special to the forum discussions.
