Yes, Gambling addiction has strained a lot of relationships through financial instabilities emotional turmoil, social isolation, and family problems. Gambling which was meant to be a popular kind of entertainment for many and was designed to provide a temporary escape from everyday life and also help one to be more observant mentally task your brain and it is also good for your mental brain. When it becomes an addiction it causes financial strain the strain can manifest in various ways including the loss of shared savings, debt accumulation, and financial secrecy which may lead to strained communication between partners. This communication breakdown can prevent couples, friends, and associates from working together.
Would totally affect on the time that you would really be able to compromise anything doesnt matter whether it would really be towards on your family or your girlfriend or friends on which on the time that you are already that compromising things or simply those kind of dealing isnt something that already healthy in between people then consider out that you are really that putting up yourself into some problems which it isnt healthy anymore or simply not really that advisable on doing so. Gambling isnt bad as long you do have that proper control of it because on the time that you are doing those things which you hadnt done before or you are simply that forgetting on what must thing should be done then it would be an another story. Playing is not bad but on the time that you are forgetting your priorities and spending too much more in gambling then its simply showing that you are addicted. Any forms of addiction is really that bad not only in relationship but also in finances, mental and emotional aspects which we should really be careful about.

Yes, I believe that gambling can provoke a gambler to change his behavior, which would then lead to the breakup of the relationship. But the main factor that affects a person is not gambling, because instead of gambling can be any other hobby, such as alcohol or food. In general, I believe that the fault is the inability to stop in time and it does not matter what it is about - gambling, alcohol or food. All these things are quite acceptable if they are not abused. Abuse leads to self-destruction. That is the main problem.

Yes it will and in a very bad way. I can’t see a marriage lasting very long if your wife/husband is a gambling addict. Sooner or later either he/she won’t show enough interest in you or worse, she/he will lose too much money which could be spent on more meaningful stuff. If you love your addict spouse very much, you should first explain the situation he/she is in and then convince him/her for a treatment. If she/he refuses to get cured, then it is time to divorce him/her. It is not a pretty thing to do but some people can’t be saved…

Well, here the root cause is lying and lack of transparency with your partner about activities that will harm the relationship when the truth is exposed and this is the same even if we remove the gambling from the string and attach another thing to it. So gambling affects you? No, unless I am doing it beyond my limit and hiding it from my partner or family and keep taking loans to chase loss which will accumulate as huge debt in no time.

. Can Gambling affect your relationship?
Gambling is not a bad game. But we look down on gambling whenever it becomes a human addiction. However, I have personally seen many people go broke due to gambling. The reason is that when a person spends more on gambling than he earns, the world is in a kind of chaos. And from this chaos comes much turmoil. And in the meantime, two are separated in the world. But let us all be aware that this gambling game is used for entertainment. And never make this gambling addictive. Then surely there will be peace in our family, there will never be turmoil and there will be no separation of the family.

You have some unusual views about gambling. Gambling "was meant to be" this and that? It is fun and light entertainment to many people, who do it very sparsely and not to excess. A small amount of people take it way too far and let it have a much larger impact on their life, which as you identified spills into personal relationships. There is nothing requiring any sort of mental agility, like you seem to suggest, about clicking buttons repeatedly on a slot machine - it is doing nothing more than stimulating the dopamine responses which reinforce habitual behavior. People misinterpreting the signals, which are very much engineered by profit seeking companies, are what gets them into trouble long term.

If you don't have a balance of everything may effect the other aspects of your life, but also note that any form of addictions is a negative pointer to everything, and it will definitely affect your relationships and even make you uncertified.
But just gambling within the limit you set for your self will make you more responsible and giving your partner their own time and also allocating gambling it own time will go a long way to reduce the level of pressure on your well being.

That is the reason why a gambler should maintain himself on his posture when he gambles. Posture in a manner that mentally and emotionally, he's in control.
Because without controlling yourself, you're having a problem that only you have to deal with and also have to solve with. If you can't do that, you'll have hard time with your relationships and it's a domino effect even with financial strains as well.

Gambling is presented as the center of entertainment, but people have gradually taken it to a different level. In gambling, people tried to find temporary pleasure by placing bets. But now people could not keep it as entertainment due to excessive greed and addiction. Some have moved far away from their families due to excessive gambling. Someone else is sitting with doubts. A gambler cannot live a normal life under these circumstances. As a result of over-time gambling, most gamblers are now completely estranged from family, friends and relatives. If a gambler conducts gambling out of control then his relationship will definitely suffer.

If I'm not mistaken, we've even reviewed threads like this on several occasions in the past. but let's get to it, and I'll refer to the theme of the title of this thread. "Can Gambling affect your relationship?", of course yes, and that cannot be denied at all from the impact or consequences of someone who gambles excessively. Well, everything you describe in this thread is the answer to the theme question of your own thread title. However, you need to remember again, gambling in this era has become a legal part of entertainment and is regulated by laws passed in every country where it is legal. Likewise with every license owned by a casino, especially those that have a reputation. gambling, is here to entertain every group of people who enjoy it. However, there are certain conditions so that someone can play it. one of them, is the age that meets the requirements. Everyone is free to play as they like, with risks that must be borne by the gambler himself, especially if in the end you lose the bet. There are lots of people who enjoy this hobby, some only play it occasionally, just for entertainment, there are also those who think that gambling can make instant money. However, many of them lose control of their gambling, ultimately becoming addicts. For those who have a relationship, whether household or partner, it will have an impact on finances and harmony in the relationship they build if they do not have self-control over their gambling. but not all gamblers who have partners are addicts. It's important to know, addiction is a condition that makes a person lose control over something. well the question is, who is to blame at this point. the casino, or the gamblers. For me, the fault lies with the gambler himself. because if you don't want to be part of a gambling addict, you need good self-control and responsibility. accompanied by a broad understanding of gambling itself.

Gambling addiction can lead to many evils which strain relationships. How will you feel when your partner wastes the family savings on gambling? Some people even go to the extreme of taking loans and wasting the money on gambling. Some people are so addicted to gambling that they don't pay attention to their partners and children. Some have lost their jobs because of gambling addiction which made them mismanage their firm's funds or fail to perform their statutory tasks. It is also abnormal to hide your gambling activities from your spouse. He/she should be aware of how much you spend on gaming, your losses, and your gains. There should be open communication between both parties to avoid misunderstanding. Gambling should be seen as entertainment and not as a part-time or full-time job. Gamblers should also have a gambling budget that will guide their gaming activities. When you are spending more than you have budgeted, it is a sign that you are losing control. There is always a need to periodically evaluate our gambling life so that we will know when to take a break or seek help.

A gambler shouldn't be trusted with any public funds or hands over public offices as he may compromised the office. Usually a gambler is someone who is mentally unstable and unhealthy also unlikely to think wisely rather than profits making in every single bets that they places which is another problems we are all facing today. Whom ever that can control their gambling exercise can actually be reasonable although do not quotes me wrongly as their are responsible and educated gamblers who gambles either ones in a blue moon.

I have really saw two couples who share betting code for each other, yes they literally bet the same matches and the day it went well, they celebrate together and the days it cut, they laughed it off and act as if nothing happened, that is what relationship is about right, mutual understanding and the fun of it and what amaze me about their betting spirit is that they don't fund each other, each one of them bet with their money and it's literally a penny from what they earn, so it's nothing to worry about and they discussed about the amount they stake each week to avoid unnecessary later explanations. I don't think gambling affects relationship if you are been open to people around you, tell them you do and it doesn't change anything. Here, it's a normal thing as side husle for some and make sure that they have another means for putting food on the table, the day they won, they cheer up their friend and family and the day they lost, they still cheer up and turn up to other activities as if nothing really happened. Isn't that is how gambling is meant to look, fun fun all day.

Posture would be totally be messed up if you arent really that good on handling your emotion and your mindset because this is where people do mostly fails on which having that control or getting in line with their initial plans earlier because on the time that you are on a situation where losing money then it would really be just normal for a human being to have that kind of reaction which it would really be that impulsive which would really be mixing out your mind and your emotion on which if this thing happens then you would really be losing of track on what you must do or to the things that you do have set earlier. You would be likely be forgetting those things along the way which it would really be resulting into those decisions which arent supposed to be done. Gambling addiction could definitely be able to disrupt or would really be affecting things specially relationship whether on your family, girlfriend or relatives which if you dont like for these things to happen then it would really be just that good that you would really be needing to have that control or something i should say that it would really be that so crucial.

The gambling will not affect the relationship, but the gambling addiction will affect the same.Because from the gambling addiction the gambler will not give the money to their family, this will affect the family monthly income and expenditure. So the gambler also not contribute their girlfriend expenses,if he is unmarried and had a girlfriend. The gamblers will say some reasons and escape from their family monthly expenses. In later days, the family woman will not tolerate such things. Finally the wife of gambler will apply for the divorce,if he quit gambling. It may help to back his wife,or else surely the gambling addict family will broken into two half.

Anything you don't let cause a strain to you, wouldn't dare do so. Whether good or bad.
What gambling is to one, is quite different from what it is to another. With such in mind, the reasons why you gamble, the activities you have to put aside to gamble, the resources and time it demands, should be weighed properly. I also think that if one gets lucky breaks or wins while gambling more often than losses initially, it is goes a long way to make one understand if it is something that would cause more stress and affect our relationships or if it is compatible with our living.

Isn't that is how gambling is meant to look, fun fun all day. It will start affecting your relationship if you are using money that is needed for your basic expenses. From your example, you said they are just using penny from what they have earned. This is why, they have no problem. But once people are abusing their funds and spending more than what they can afford, problems will arise. Your relationship with family, friends or colleagues will be strained especially if you owe money from them due to your gambling habits.

It is very possible that when a person becomes too addicted to gambling, he often neglects his obligations and responsibilities. So that the gambling activities carried out can not only take up the money he has, but his time can also be taken up by gambling. Meanwhile, partners and their families need both of these things, because if we talk about providing, it's not just material, but it has to be physically and mentally. So it is natural that gambling addiction can cause the breakdown of a relationship. Because harmony in the relationship is no longer created.

You are bringing an interesting question and I feel like I will be taking the time soon to research it. What was gambling at its very beginning meant to be for? You say it was meant to be a popular kind of entertainment and an escape, but when you watch some documentaries or also a series on Netflix like the Peaky Binders, gambling was always used to make money off of other peoples' money and to make more money with the money that was already there. Horse racing in particular was a big thing and while it looks like it was to entertain people, which it also did, it was essentially to make money for those who ran the operations. I guess everything was somehow meant to make money because gambling involves risking money. Otherwise they could have made bets with things of no value, but they didn't as the fun/goal is that value goes from one hand to another hand.

Your topic sounded as though you were asking on what was the opinion on that but, here you are giving all the answers. It’s not hidden that, gambling has come in between a lot of relationships with most individuals mostly not within the gambling industry, seeing it for some evil or immoral act and those who gamble to be immoral and irresponsible people who can’t better their life and ends up wasting it away on gambling sites or shops. Well, this believe has turn out to be the case for most due to what is observed amongst many gamblers who don’t mind spending more time than they should in game houses and online, thereby wasting more than they could in time and resources, not brining enough home for there wife and kids. How could it not strain there relationship at this point. It would and so, gamblers just have yo watch it and be cautious of developing bad habits.
