What drives most people, both men and women into gambling is because they want to earn money. Earning money is the primary reason and other reasons can be considered as secondary.

It is when they later know that gambling can not give them the expected earning,  they may decide to stay or quit gambling. The secondary reason is the reason they decided to stay if not addicted.

At the moment I don’t have any female friends that’s into gambling or probably they might be involved but don’t want the public to know about it… and surprisingly I have never thought about female gambling as anything that should be considered different from the normal way we all gamble.

I believe that entertainment and to earn cash should be the main reason why anyone would ever want to engage in gambling activities, although there are few that still goes online to gamble so that they can escape the reality of life for the few minutes or hours that they’ll spend in their account.

There are many underlying reasons why people first decide to go into gambling. Then as time goes on that curiosity or the boredom and loneliness they wished to kill by gambling soon turn into an ever consuming desire to win money and this becomes the driving Force for them. It is not gender-specific but relates to all genders. But when it comes to addiction I feel that there are more women who are closet gamblers that are struggling with gambling addiction but don't know how to seek for help because of people will say. This is where more work needs to be done to help more women speak up so their addiction can be easily addressed.

So I believe the right answer to the question is that, same thing that drives men into gambling is same thing that drives women into gambling as well .

Although I must emphasize on the fact that we are of different characteristics and so is our needs, generally as human beings, not referring to men or women in particular now..

It's nothing but wanting instant winnings that they try gambling but most of these bets are on men that I've met but for women it's very rare. For other countries then it's different again.

Loneliness must be one. I have lived with my aunt for more than a year and their neighbors told me, she wasn't a gambler at all until her husband sailed to the sea for years. The husband occasionally calls her but that's just it. After hearing so many tales about what sailors do when they dock at a port, they do stuff like take a girl to their cabin.

I think that really got into her and so she tried entertaining herself in some resorts and found friends who are gamblers. Yep, she is well-known in nearby casinos.

Money I guess for the most part but I'd say if she's with peers that do the same thing, she'd likely like to be belong in it. Obviously, you just answered your own question. I have seen ladies that do betting fun and ambition and that is drive by their love for sports, they love to drag opponents when it comes to debate and the most fun of it is when they show off their bets anytime they win. To be honest, I think women are more dedicated and mind controlled when it comes to gambling, they know how to play(the few I have seen on tittok and podcasts) and when they lose, you wouldn't hear pim from them or get angry, that is how gambling is meant to be and when they play casino games, they don't bother about the outcome because girls are feminine and feminine love games.

There are many reasons for someone who decides to get involved in gambling whether men or women they certainly have their own goals and reasons and of course there are a variety of differences.

Your illustration might be relative. The main reason why the poor gamble is not for fun but for money.  So I can conclude that most financially stable women who gamble do that for fun and not necessarily for money. But I can certainly say that most women in poor nations gamble because they are seeking alternative means of income. A poor woman is seeking for means to feed and wouldn't consider spending money in casinos just for fun. The majority of the women I know who gambled learned it either from male partners or male relatives. And they are motivated to stake when they see people winning games.

I don't think it's any different for women than it is men.  I can tell you though as a financial advisor that more men gamble than women because men tend to be more reckless with their finances that women overall (20 years of experience backing that claim up).  Women like winning money just the same as men do.  Also they enjoy the same benefits of it being a fun social event. My x-gf loved going to the casino.  It was a fun thing for us to do, get dressed up and go hit the casinos, just something different than your average evening.

Most of my woman friend that playing gambling usually have a anti social attitude. They only play gambling to release stress but they didn’t mean to socialize since they don’t know people in the casino that’s why they play. They are using it to escape in reality and have quick profit aside form their job.

A woman with an active social life will never go to casino as well as those willing to socialize with stragers since they can use malls, salons and other typical girls hangout spot if they want to socialize.

In my opinion, poverty or wealth can drive women to engage in gambling. Additionally, depression could be one of the reasons that leads women to participate in gambling.

Women are not really involved in our country in those activities which are consider as gambling because they are dependent on man for money. The main focus of people on gambling is for money as without money life become very difficult.

Women never use their money in useless activities and its the reality because they are very conscious about the use of their money.

Male are more engaged in gambling as compared to female because they have responsibilities and they don't known how to manage these responsibilities so they choose wrong mechanisms of making money as jobs are not enough to give opportunity to each individual of a country.
