I think the major reason why most women engage in gambling is because of the kind of environment they happened to find themselves in. Money they said is not a gender based tool so when they see most men around them gamble and win at the end of the day, they'll want to get involved in that same thing the men are doing and getting financial returns.
Gambling does not have gender restrictions and in as much as more women feel okay in gambling, it's absolutely finefor them to get involved.

It is true that women have greater curiosity than men and when they (women) see lots of people (men) gambling, it is not impossible that they will do it because of that curiosity. There is less gambling among women than men and usually women gamble just to have fun because most women don't have a strategy or pattern to win at gambling. Therefore, let them gamble if they don't harm the people around them, maybe by gambling they can lighten the burden they carry a little in a day.

I think for many women some of the few reasons they go into gambling, is that gambling provides them with the opportunity to be sociable and enjoy time with friends and also use it to escape boredom loneliness or even stress, excitement is also part of the reasons why women goes into gambling the sense of winning creates an additional anticipation of something bigger having the spotlight on you as a winner can make you feel good even for a brief moment. Well, I can't really say I know the right reason that drives women to gamble, but I will say it's the same reason for male gamblers too. There was this woman in my place. She was really doing well in her business, but unfortunately, her husband died, and she was just taking care of all the bills herself until her business closed up. Maybe curiosity to what other people say to them about fun and possible earnings they can get playing on casino makes woman decide to play on a casino. When I saw this picture, I didn't know my reaction towards it. And I did not know if to be sad or it is funny to me because the comment is so humorous. But then it could also be the reason women involved in gambling just to have a new set of cooking stuff maybe new set of dress or shoes. Priority is very much dependent on gender. You can see a guy who gambles just to buy a bottle of bear and it will be so funny to the other gender who do not take bear. Gambling is clearly for every mature mind out there that's capable or handling the good and bad moments in gambling. We just make sure we have the best gambling techniques before applying for the system, because it's never an easy way down this path, there are both profits and losses. That's correct, same reason why others in provinces also use gambling as their escape from boredom. I've seen it and when you ask them that's the only reason they will provide. To kill time. I guess just like men, we also have different reasons why we gamble, some to satisfy our ego about winning, others to make money, and some to entertain themselves while taking out the stress that they feel.
My curiosity here is about why other people still look bad at women who gamble. It's just the same. What you say is correct because both men and women also have greed, which can come suddenly, especially if they can win. I've never seen a woman go bankrupt because of gambling but I guess it must exist and maybe the news is not spread widely. I assumed the picture is supposed to be funny. Tho I felt a little bit of sarcasm in there. Anyway, women gamble primarily for entertainment and enjoyment same as men. I mean, there is no really a distinct difference to generalize. The drive lies beyond gender but more on the behavior and the capability to gamble.

I mean are there still cultures who still see gambling to be less socially acceptable for women? It would be so outdated.
