Yes when I was starting. I want to gain huge in a short period. The reason why I failed many times to profit because of my wrong decisions. The good thing is, I learned something from that experience to improve myself. Giving up is not the solution hence don't be discourage.

Initially I never thought that crypto was a quick get rich scheme because all I thought was buying and holding for years before selling so that the price would have gone higher from the actual price reaching like 10× or 20×.

 I always believe that cryptocurrency market is about trading and holding your coin for as long as possible. Enter I finally get i started understanding much things about the market and how everything works. Cryptocurrency will give us discipline and make us not to be too in a haste especially those of us that had been in the market from the beginning.

But besides cryptocurrencies, what other investments do we have that can bring 10x, 20x, even 100x returns over many years? Almost no, only cryptocurrency can do this so I still consider cryptocurrency a way to get rich faster than other investments. Obviously we all know that cryptocurrencies are risky but the higher the risk the higher the return and that's what we're thinking about. We don't just want to get rich quickly, but we also want to get rich with small amounts of money, and only cryptocurrency can do this. That's why we're here.

The reason I can mingle in this room or forum is none other than the motivation I have regarding the world of investing and trading cryptocurrencies, such as Bitcoin. Because that was the initial basis for me being able to join this forum/space. But if you mean how can I mingle and adapt in this forum. In my personal opinion, this is all because I am used to this forum and I continue to learn about everything related to this forum. Because at first I was also stiff, awkward, and very insecure about being on this forum. But as time went by, I got used to it.

My story may not be much different from the stories of other crypto investors. Because while I was involved in the crypto world, I started by studying the knowledge first, especially about bitcoin. Because bitcoin investment is a goal that I want and prioritize. Then after that, I started to understand Bitcoin and started investing my money there. After that I started to be interested in altcoins. So this is where I got a lot of experience. It's like making a profit followed by a loss. Although I have never experienced a very big loss. But from there I started to learn a lot more. Such as studying analysis techniques (sentimental, fundamental and technical).

And that's how it is briefly discuss my journey in the crypto realm.

The point is, don't be a lazy person. Because if want to dive into the world of crypto, definitely have to read a lot and learn a lot about cryptocurrencies. Because if don't do this, there is a big possibility that will experience bad things such as experiencing losses or being exposed to fraud. So to avoid all that, reading a lot and learning a lot about cryptocurrency is the solution. And don't forget to always have good motivation, so that during the process/learning become more enthusiastic and don't give up easily.

In the early days I started investing in crypto, especially Bitcoin. I also had that get-rich-quick thought. But fortunately after I entered this forum, I learned a lot, including how wrong it is to have the desire to get rich quickly. So basically I was saved by this forum.

And even though this desire didn't stay in my mind for too long, the impact felt was indeed very significant. For example, the mind and mentality become tired quickly and give up quickly. So having thoughts like that (wanting to get rich quickly) really hinders the continuity of investment or trading in the crypto world.

My crypto journey was tough for some years and some months before I begin to understand crypto investment, because I was thinking, once your have knowledge on centralized currency, it will be easy for you to understand crypto investment and how to use it to achieve your goal. Anytime I had the opportunity to purchased some potential coins from the market hoping that before the end of 4 or 5 months I will double my income, but I will get panic for the bear market that will take me more than 6 months before it will pump higher in the market because I was use to short term holding. But since I switch to long term holding, it has been helping me to achieve a huge amount of income from my investment which you can apply the same strategy in this season

It all started with Robert Kiyosaki's book "Rich Dad, Poor Dad". Thanks to her, I realized that money can work for us, multiplying and bringing new money.
It turned my world upside down and then I realized that it was not necessary to have a permanent job. You need to buy assets, not liabilities, and increase your capital. And then retirement at 35 will be possible! My friends shared this idea with me, and then we all learned about bitcoin. Then it cost $100 for 1.
Then we found out about the forum and started running bounty campaigns. And after all this I can't imagine my life without the world of cryptocurrencies.

My advice for newbies is to be patient and stay active on the forum regularly. Be patient and be active in the forum regularly and try to learn new things all the time. If you have any difficulty in knowing or understanding, then you can directly ask in the forum. People can conquer anything if they have the curiosity to know. If there is regular activity in the forum then a new member will gradually gain enough knowledge about all the topics.

Never follow a get-rich-quick scheme. If you want to get rich in short time then you must choose crooked path and it is not so easy to get rich by crooked way. Crooked way means you have to use your money and try to earn money where money has to bet one way, in that bet you can win money as well as you can lose money so risking so much money is never a right decision.

1.Reading and posting on this forum in the last 7 years.

2.My journey has been pretty calm and straight forward. Many times I failed at timing the market. I've sold some BTC and the price went up. I panicked several times when I didn't have to. I wasn't scammed with big amounts of BTC. I remember that I got scammed with 100 USD back in 2020 and with 30 USD back in 2017. No big deal. You learn from your mistakes.

3.Don't trust anyone and if something seems too good to be true, if most likely is. Don't panic when the prices go down, because the markets always bounce back.

4.I don't think so. I actually never had such mindset and I think that will never become rich(it doesn't matter if it's quick or slow).

I know the op asks to choose one question, but I'll do two of those.
1. There were people I knew IRL who were already a part of the space, but I also found this forum to be full of thoughtful people who have different opinions, so that was nice to see.
4. No, I wasn't in that mindset at all. For one, I was never centred on getting rich, it never seemed important to me. Another point is specifically crypto-related: I was initially sceptical of money that's not issued by an authority, doesn't have a physical version but somehow has value.

I don't think that crypto is get rich quick scheme because if it was then there will be no risk for anyone but people faces risk and then manage it over time so they steadily become rich. But it is also not sure that you will become rich 100 percent the reason is that if crypto can make you rich so it can also make you poor.

Crypto field is not limited to investment only but there are also lots of other things in crypto world but nothing among them can give you quick benefit. You have to work for it for sometime and then you will be able to earn if you successful perform your job.

People only accept crypto for getting money but they don't know that getting money is not so easy because your own invested amount will be in risk therefore be patience if you don't want to waste this amount which you already have put in risky field.

This forum,  this is the place that helped me to blend into the system and everything I leant on cryptocurrency all came from this forum,  so the forum have been my most used tool to blend into this space.

My strong faith in the quest to gain knowledge and earn along the line have been my motivations all through this time,  and for the fact that I took the zeel for the pursuit of knowledge on bitcoin and blockchain made is more easy to become another journey of learning for me after graduation make the journey more exciting.

Just stay focus and determined avoid troubles follow the rules because there is no reversals!

Nope at first I thought I was late already and I have missed the flight to cash in when there were free Bitcoin Airdrops,  but along the line,  with the knowledge I have gained,  I can't compare it to any amount so I don't have any get rich quick mindset.

1- there was a need for cross-border payments.
2 in general, everything is fine - several times I was stolen money that was significant at that time. Had to focus on safety
3 - read first - use later.
And always remember - not your keys, not your money.
4- In general there are, but I don’t see ways to implement this thinking in the field of cryptocurrencies. Risks are always higher than returns.
As a long-term investment, as an option, in established cryptocurrencies. As for entering and exiting with ROI, the idea is 1000% stupid.

That was my first thought about Bitcoin but I figured it out which is not.
And the truth is that we can only make rich from investing in Bitcoin if we are also able to spend more. More investment, more profit but also, it is accompanied by more risk. For those who would think about getting rich instantly from investing in Bitcoin, we only just fail because it was not a Ponzi scheme that promises such a thing. Many people misunderstand how it works and fall into such thinking and suffer losses in the end instead of making a profit.

What helped me to assimilate into this crypto space was my own desire to make money after knowing how it works. Because without our own desires, of course there will be no action that we will take even if other people repeatedly force us to work in a space like this.

I did not just wake up to start loving crypto currency; I was also so skeptical about Bitcoin from the beginning, but while I did some airdrops, I got scammed and also got paid and converted to Fiat and spent it. I just started learning; again, I attended a Bitcoin seminar and learned about Bitcoin, and I picked a very great interest.

I have invested in altcoins in the past and made just a little profit. I have been hearing that some people made 500x, 1000x, or more profit in their crypto currency investments, but I have not really experienced those huge profits but rather kept hoping until the altcoins finally died out. I just decided to still be more focused on the accumulation of Bitcoin since things did not work out so well for me and my investment in some altcoins, and some projects even swapped coins without my notice.

Read and learn, keep learning, and also examine the mistakes of others to avoid making the same mistake.
