Just imagine after buying an iPhone with a large amount of BTC, then some months later, iPhone 16 was produced. Then you keep planning to buy that one with another BTC. That means you will use all your BTC to buy an iPhone.

That is a very unlikely situation for the majority of people: many bitcoiners are also hodlers, and that doesn't necessarily mean that your are going to spend 0 crypto, if you need a new smartphone there is nothing wrong with it; buying a new model every single year is a totally different thing. I don't know about you, but I know very few people who change their smartphone every year.

We have different lifestyles and some people are not interested in following the smartphone trend, many bitcoiners can afford an iphone 15 pro even though the price is 2 times higher but they don't use a cent of bitcoin to divert to non-investment except for investment needs in property, gold, shares and others for the purpose of profit opportunities. If someone uses bitcoin to buy other items such as an iPhone or other non-investment items, he or she has reduced the amount of investment assets for lifestyle needs but the price of the smartphone will fall every year.

Even though they have achieved financial freedom, they can realize their lifestyle needs of buying a new iPhone without using Bitcoin investment because the investment funds have been set for a profitability strategy, it is possible that in the future when the price of Bitcoin has increased, the accumulated price of the iPhone will be 0.002 BTC.

It's not about the smartphone trend, it's simply that there is a huge difference between buying a smartphone every 1-2 years and 4-5. At this point everybody in the world has a smartphone, is not something that we can renounce. Of course there are several brands, several prices, everyone can find what suits him the best. I like Apple products because they last a lot, I'm seriously considering buying the new iPhone because I'm still using a 2016 iPhone 7 (just to give an idea of ow long they last) and I can update it to the new iOS, also many apps run a little slow and sometimes also when watching a video there is some lag, but besides that it's impressive because it's 7 years old

still a good feeling for me that my first iphone4s   purchased back then did not used Bitcoin , instead my December bonus from my first Job , because of does , maybe this will be my biggest frustration in life.

how we all wish that we have read this thread back those year and believe bitcoin will reach that level same as iphone be having  iphone15 version from apple lol.

I even doubt everyone, including me, what is the certainty that we would have bought bitcoin instead of an iPhone at that time if we did not know its value in the future? That's why many people didn't invest in bitcoin back then, at that time bitcoin was too risky to trust. We only regret when looking back at the past but never had the courage to become a pioneer and take risks. And if we talk about opportunities in life, we have even given up a lot of things, not just bitcoin.

actually most of our posts here mate are just a way to express our bad feeling for not investing in Bitcoin back in the days when we first hear it..

I agree with you. Although the new iPhone is eye-catchy and has really nice features that are not present from the previous ones, I think I will surely pass on this new release. Despite being really into tech and a big fan of Apple products, the price for this new release is way out of my comfort zone when it comes to spending for something I don't generally need (my current phone is still up to date and is still working perfectly). Moreover, it is true that this product will not give me or produce any profit for me even if I decide to sell it one day, instead I'll just focus on my investment that will one day give me profit that I need. Hence, for now, it is a definite pass for me.

Many people might say that iPhone just want to have more money from their customers, but let's not forget the innovation and upgrade which we people always trying to enhance for every person's convenience. Whenever there's a new released model we can say it might looked alike from the previous and has a little new features that could be considered as innovative. Still upgrade is an upgrade, so people would still want the new ones. But it would be too impractical to buy a cellphone that are too pricey when you still have a phone that are still working. Just wait more few months or years, for sure it would be cheap and there's another new release phone.

i never thought about buying an iphone, because for $2500 it is worth it and if i buy an iphone at the end of september i will lose my btc and i will miss the upcoming bull run

The bigger question are.....

How does the person with the iPhone 4s feel now.... after they bought it for 162 BTC? Those bitcoins are now valued at $4 192 000 at todays price of $25 870 per bitcoin. 

This is the reason why most people are hoarding their coins and using it as an investment option and not as a Currency. Would you spend your bitcoins buying an expensive phone...and after a few years, finding out that it would have been worth 800 times more.. than what it was ..when you bought the phone? 

It really depends on the person because there was Laszlo Hanyecz who spent 10k BTC for a pizza and yet don't regret it.
So we might never know. May be the guy who bought 4s for 162 BTC might be feeling the same thing.

If we all start comparing our purchases with current dollar price of bitcoin then most of us will be feeling sad about it.
Instead, we all should be feeling happy that we are contributing to the bitcoin network.
Holding BTC is not bad but we shouldn't feel bad if we have used it for any payments.

Generally, people tend to prefer using branded items like Apple phones. However, my stance is a bit different. My argument is, let's say you have a need for something, and that need can be met through two different paths. One is the expensive route, and the other is the affordable one, since both serve the same purpose. So my innocent question is, can an iPhone 15, which fulfills your need, do something that an iPhone 14 or another Android can't? If it can't, then why spend on branded items when both the iPhone 15 and the iPhone 14 have minimal changes in terms of new features? In my opinion, spending on them without a valid reason is a waste.
On the other hand, investing in valuable assets like Bitcoin is a sensible choice. The iPhone series releases every year, and they are becoming more expensive over time with just one additional feature. Meanwhile, Bitcoin, which is currently available at a certain price, may yield a considerable return in the future and provide profits, whereas an
