Gambling game is not bad, but gambler's habit is. Even if you can stay away from gambling games, there are many other things in this world that may ruin your life if you cant control yourself. Talking about gambling is indeed a detrimental thing and has a bad impact but all of this is a form of entertainment a form of pleasure that some people need, when there are people who are really addicted to gambling and have a life that starts to get worse then it is the person own fault who cannot control yourself and act correctly.

There is nothing bad about gambling. I think you should blame your father for ruining his life with gambling. I am sure your father was addicted to gambling, which was one of the main things that affected him. Gambling is supposed to be for fun, but when you are addicted to gambling, then you are causing problems for yourself. This is very correct and in-line with what I have always maintained here. Gambling is more of psychology than anything because a bad gambling habits destroys every other thing. Everyone knows that in theory.The problem is that life is becoming more and more difficult nowadays and some people find it "useful" to gamble away some money in order to win more,especially in the sport betting where in the first look it looks very easy to do so but which in fact is completely the opposite.When these people find out they are already gambling and they have a lot of difficulty to try and move away and quit.There are only few people who are able to do it,to have the great desire and self will to quit gambling but most of the people get trashed deeper and deeper and these are the problem.

It's true that not everything a gambler does is bad, it depends on the person attitude, I don't have enough experience to know what gambling is, but I have a family member who also gambles, that is my uncle, my uncle only gambles when In his free time he doesn't abandon his obligation to earn a living, he doesn't rely on gambling to make more money, he uses gambling just to have fun and he is able to create boundaries when gambling and is able to divide his time between family and entertainment so that it doesn't become a big problem for his family. because my uncle was able to control himself when gambling.

A lot of times it's like that, the thing is it's true that when we want to quit or stay away from gambling it's like there's a big wall restricting us, but there's no one preventing us from making any decisions and well it's yourself that's the big barrier, it's in your mind. Gambling is good for a lot of people OP, and they are doing good with gambling because they can control their urge to make large amount of money from gambling. To many addicted gamblers out in the world today, they don't have a safe strategy for gambling, they use any money they get their hands on, either from their salary or money that was meant for something else, such people are called irresponsible gamblers.

You're somewhat right but the ones who are into gambling love it so much that they won't give up on it even if someone offer them $500 to stop their gambling activities. The gambling is someone's own choice and if someone enjoys it then he/she won't listen to anyone and will continue his/her gambling activities even after many losses.
