My fear have been a motivation to learn,  even If I start trading I may lose but not to lose everything because of the understanding I have. My fear to lose have always made me to take the right decisions and not to make money money my first ultimate in trading and investment but understanding as my first priority.

If you can not face your fears, it will stop you from achieving your goals. It's normal and part of human nature but when you allow it to consume and control you, it becomes abnormal. There's a saying that the fear of failure is the beginning of failure. When you are afraid of failure and you remain reluctant to learning, your chance of success will be limited. You have taken a bold step to motivate yourself to learn due to your fears. As you know, learning has no end and as you keep on learning, you discover new ideas on timely basis.

But I am also not impressed in your testimony because you are not supposed to be fearful of losing. If  you are very scared of losing your money, that means you may never make more money. What you need to do is simply to take your time and advance your skills in bitcoin trading and investment. When you have learnt alot, you will be confident and no longer afraid of losing.

Fear isn't the reason why I learn about crypto, I am inspired to be in the crypto space and learn everything about it, to me it's adventurous and I've made mistakes along the way, I learn from the mistakes because I accept my fault, no everyone can do this.

Fear is normal especially if you are not really sure what you are doing and most of all, if you have thought negatively already.
If can change our mindset to positive, we no longer have such FEAR in mind but courage and motivation. This one is right. In crypto trading, you should fear NOTHING as long as you are equipped with proper knowledge on how the trading works. The fear that you will run at loss in a business is what will make you very careful in whatever decisions that you are making. In crypto trading it is even more worst because of the volatile nature of bitcoin. If you say that you being scared helps you to make the right decisions and steps, that good as long as it works for you.

It is better that when your mind is not at rest with trading, you need not to think of it, because trading is risky and you might end up running at great loss, especially as a newbie. I wouldn't dare think of trading because am cool with investing, as this gives me rest of mind since am investing in a long period of time.

Thats actually true especially when it's comes to trading well I can't say the same for other aspect of life though but when it comes to trading the risk is just too much. If you are in cryptocurrency and you are scared to lose, then I think cryptocurrency is not for you. As a trader, you are going to lose money when trading, even if you are a professional. Losses might still come sometimes, so I can say trading is all about profit and loss, but as a trader, try and work out a strategy that is going to give you more profit. Losses shouldn’t be something that comes in often. But if you are a trader and you think you won’t lose money at all, then you are just deceiving yourself, you will lose, and as a newbie, you should be expecting more losses, you will lose more money in the process of learning.

As long as you continue to fear in losing then you will continue to lose. If you want to win in trading then you should trade like a winner not as a loser. You said ever since you learnt about cryptocurrency investing and trading . Always feared = missed opportunities.

Trust me, I've experienced that as well. I've missed many opportunities in the past and even until now because I didn't want to risk too much money investing into a project that I know is very risky. My fear of losing money always gets me, but the good thing is that, I always have a plan B, and what I'm doing is I'd rather invest it into some established projects out there, or even into Bitcoin instead of a project that I know is very risky.

I've also missed airdrops that came out to be a successful project months after giving out their tokens. Airdrops such as the Uniswap, and Arbitrum are the ones that I missed unfortunately. My fear of me getting hacked or whatever it is, is always getting me. Just imagine how much money I've lost in just 2 airdrops because of fear.

I'm not saying that don't get feared because sometimes, letting your fear get you has some advantages as well. You said that your friends are still trading despite them having the feeling of losing? I think it's because they believe that there will be a time that they will earn from it. What they just need is to learn more. As for you, use your fear as a tool for you to get motivated in whatever you wanted to learn.

I'm not sure whether fear in trading is a good thing, because you won't accomplish anything in trading even when you feel technically proficient and so on if your fear is greater than your courage to make a move. Learning is indeed important, but studying too often will not make you immediately make a profit in trading, you have to trade directly while you continue to learn and evaluate your trading history in the past so that in the future you will use a better strategy.

In fact - investing in bitcoin will not make the value of your investment go to 0. You just need to avoid day trading and continue to be a long-term holder - it should not make you afraid of losing. You only need to worry if all your investment assets are still on a centralized platform - but you will be safe if all your investment assets are in a wallet that gives you full custody.

But when you refer to losing all capital because of trading, then you are probably pro trading with leverage which isn't advisable if one hasn't shapened their strategy to be on the profitable side of this journey... so to minimise such risk best to buy and hodl and forget about losing your capital to small price dips.

Tbh, the best way to find motivation is to find a working strategy that you have tried and tested and are happy with the results, otherwise going in blindly is guaranteeing oneself of failure....good thing fear pushes many of us to do the uncomfortable stuff and this includes learning new skills

Fear of investing makes us careful about our actions. However it motivates us to increase our knowledge about our investment. Also It can be positive thing if you can amplify your fear to motivate yourself to increase your knowledge.

I mean for sure not all the time we are making the right decision here somethings we might just get lucky and sometimes we might just be unlucky about it, its just normal to be fear if you dont know what your doing at first if your going to think about it like driving a car, if your just a newbie and you dont know how your going to drive a car for sure at first you are afraid to hit the accelerator and most of the time you just slam the brake because you are afraid but as soon as you progress and learn how to drive that fear disappear because you know how to do it completely.

Its a good thing I guess since we are here in the forum meaning as soon as we just continue our journey here in the forum we are still learning a lot here, there are a lot of things that we need to learn as well as how we are going to protect ourselves against scams and hack since they are developing a lot of new ways, and probably we want to learn new strategy that we like on investing, for sure its going to be easy as soon as we are active here in the forum.
