I had $1389. was playing plinko...
I was busy doing something so I was just looking at my balance occasionally to make sure i was still over $1,000...

well, it said I was at $1389
but it then said I didn't have enough funds to make my bet.


Do you mean that your $1389 is now out of your balance on the casino platform? because you said you couldn't bet, right? Do you have a screenshot that proves before you knew that there was a problem with your balance?

I hope you can show some evidence that what you are saying is credible somehow, and have you contacted their support about this problem you are facing with their casino gambling platform? if you have replied? What did they tell you about the problems you told them anyway?

It was also happening to me before. I have been playing plinko and i got the same glitch as you said and you shall not feel worry as your balance was safe and what you need to do is refreshing your browser and your balance will be back to the normal again.
Your stake balance is actually safe and your money is not gone. Just refresh it and you can play it again without any problems. The plinko sometimes was glitching.

It is true that it is just a display glitch. I experienced this many times and refreshing the page is the way to fix it. In my cases, it usually happened when I open Stake and I do not start betting and keep the browser open for several minutes. After that I started to play and the amount in my balance seems to be not moving as what it should be, some time balance looks like stuck but after refreshing the page, the amount is changed (can be bigger or lower) depending on the result of my bets. Other display glitch is that sometime my balance is increased earlier because of a winning bet while the bet/game is not yet finished (mostly in slot, plinko and keno).

I am a constant player on stake, and the only time I do experience such as the op is when playing a slot or casino game, or even betting, and then I set a currency I have zero balance on, as my main currency.

Aside the above, there have never been a time I had or have a balance and was told I don't have enough balance while placing a bet.

But then again, this is not to completely rule out the possiblity of a glitch which could result to such an error.

When I read what Op wrote, I thought: I'll wait a few hours to see if he's going to put proof of the things he's saying and then I can make my post in this thread, but it's been many hours since Op made this thread and he just made 1 post and without any proof, there isn't at least a photo of his account so we can see the empty balance and the betting history so we can at least see if it was a casino bug or if someone else used the op's account to keep betting and because of that the balance disappeared or maybe someone accessed the OP's account and because of that this person withdrew all the money, while the OP doesn't post photos of his account it's very difficult to believe everything he's saying

And it's also difficult to get a sense of what's really going on, but at least it doesn't say whether they contacted support and how long it took for support to respond to you and what support told you. It is very important that people know that when they post a complaint, they always make an effort to post some photos that have more details about the subject they are exposing, no one will be able to give good advice if they haven't seen the evidence and have a concrete understanding of what is really happening. , and another thing is that when a person is in need of help and exposes their problem here, that person must find time to answer the questions we all ask them

The moment i read the Subject of this thread "Stake Balance Glitch" , I rushed to open my stake account and found there is nothing wrong with my balance and it is only OP who is facing this issue.

Yes, the OP should come up with all the proofs including screenshot of the deposits and withdrawals. He can give us the screenshots for the withdrawals (https://stake.com/transactions/withdrawals) and bets (https://stake.com/transactions/bets) and all others that he thinks will prove him right.

Since he is not replying anymore, i guess he lost his balance in gambling and now wants to get it back somehow.

I have not hear such before, you were having such big amount of money in your gambling balance and and when you return to place a bet the money was not found again. That is misery disappearance. I just guess, but you can still ask support team to know what really happened to the funds that was inside the account. Such amount can not just disappeared from the account. But as others have said, you would provide some evidences to show that something happened to your account and it was compromised.

If you are using a VPN, then sometimes the internet connection isn’t the greatest and sometimes the balance doesn’t get as updated as frequently as it should. If you’re playing a game like plinko where the balance can change quite a bit very quickly then you have to sometimes pause and let things catch up. I assume that’s what happened here.

OP, as suggested by other members in your thread, check anything that could be hindering your betting when placing a bet, for example the internet or updating your device.

This amount of funds is $1389, it is impossible and impossible, if you get a notification 'not enough funds, that's strange, it has never happened, that's a large fund more than enough for you to bet in the plinko game.

I agree with you that this is really just a display problem, seeing from your experience story it seems that almost all gamblers experience the same thing and so do I. If we leave the website display for a long time it is true that on average it happens like an error on the display that we are open and especially the balance in my account.

It is possible that some of us could be surprised when we start to see this kind of incident for the first time, but this really doesn't matter guys, you just need to refresh your browser as you said, and with that all the features and display of the balance in your account will be restored as it should be, if for myself honestly I often experience things like this when playing slot machines.

Did you contact stake support? Lately, I have been watching a lot of complains against stake, don't know wtf they are doing. It has been my favorite casino for the last few years.

People are starting to catch on it seems. It has been a growing problem for months. There are easily over 20 highly suspect phishing scenarios and impossible KYC threads out there. Support are rarely useful for the player.

I do wonder of this situation is one that is an easy fix like others are saying (display issue where cache/hard refresh needed) or if there a valid complaint here.

Aside the above, there have never been a time I had or have a balance and was told I don't have enough balance while placing a bet.

But then again, this is not to completely rule out the possiblity of a glitch which could result to such an error.
I have experience series of glitch before on stake and most time is at that point of staking bet that the glitch happens I get the notification that I have low balance but then my bet is already staked,  so what k do normally is to manually check the bet history to see if my bet was placed previously and how it appears.

I may have fo agree with the point of others that maybe my browser is out of date or another sort of challenge that could have resulted in getting such glitches.

It was also happening to me before. I have been playing plinko and i got the same glitch as you said and you shall not feel worry as your balance was safe and what you need to do is refreshing your browser and your balance will be back to the normal again.
Your stake balance is actually safe and your money is not gone. Just refresh it and you can play it again without any problems. The plinko sometimes was glitching.

It is true that it is just a display glitch. I experienced this many times and refreshing the page is the way to fix it. In my cases, it usually happened when I open Stake and I do not start betting and keep the browser open for several minutes. After that I started to play and the amount in my balance seems to be not moving as what it should be, some time balance looks like stuck but after refreshing the page, the amount is changed (can be bigger or lower) depending on the result of my bets. Other display glitch is that sometime my balance is increased earlier because of a winning bet while the bet/game is not yet finished (mostly in slot, plinko and keno).
This is actually not a new occurrence to me although not with stake but this type of glitches have occurred to me many on my gambling with other different casino , and there was this time when my actually balance was actually showing the wrong figure that got me all in hype and anxious and the number was over than a thousand bucks instead of a hundred but unknowing to me that it was just a system glitch.

No argument bud, each ones experience with different platforms differs and that's a fact, and I remember saying that me sharing my experience is not  me ruling out the possiblity of such errors or glitches.

And maybe like you've said, or talked about outdated browser app, my experience might probably be as a result of the fact that my browser is always up to date at all times, I actually set my browser to auto update itself when ever there is an update, so maybe keeping the Browser app up to date could help reduce the occurrence of such glitches.

I had $1389. was playing plinko...
I was busy doing something so I was just looking at my balance occasionally to make sure i was still over $1,000...

well, it said I was at $1389
but it then said I didn't have enough funds to make my bet.


I had the same several times.
It happens when the connection times out.
You can see the live statistics also not updating when this happens.

It always takes you bet off the balance and 1-2 seconds the balance jumps back to the original. This can be very misleading but can only actually hurt you if you are like "in the zone".
Everybody in their right mind would see that when you are losing a lot and your balance stays the same something ain't right.

After reloading the page you can the the right balance and also statistics will work again.

In fact, the OP can directly report the problem to the Stake support service and he will also be able to get answers or information about what he is experiencing because so far customer support at Stake has always responded to all complaints within 1 x 24 hours so there is no reason not to immediately get solution.
Several times I asked questions that made me quite confused and the customer support on the Stake gambling site always responded quickly so that everything could be resolved without any delays or waiting periods I sure OP would be able to resolve everything if he really wanted to submit complaint to customers support.

I been playing Stake for while and until now I never experienced any problems with my balance or transactions there, it possible that this problem occurred because there was problem with the signal network so there was slight balance error when betting and when the network was normal and then refreshed then everything will return to normal.

From your explanations, one could easily tell that it was a glitch possibly from a network or server because theal amount you have can be able to go in for a roll or more. I think it just might be a glitch to check into. If you had screenshot the error message here for us to see, then it would have been better and clearly understood.

You should contact their representative here. I believe your complaint would be looked into. It is good you noticed it and raised a complaint immediately because I other members begin to experience such then stake would have to explain themselves better

Totally just a glitch and some users in the past did experience on the same situation.

Seems odd that they havent really been able to make out those fixes, but well there's no such thing about
perfect casino but good thing that you could really chat or email their support in regarding the problem if it wasnt solve out.

Usually these glitches would really be just that be resolved on simply refreshing your browser or trying out to check your internet connection
because there are instances on which this is something that causes this kind of problem. If it does still persist then contacting them
would be your best shot. Stake is reputable and known and for sure they would be able to help right away.
