As una know, our country don become officially 63 years old today and when I de reason am the thing de funny me on a normal.

E get one proverb when our people de talk say "a fool at 40 is a fool forever" make God no allow this one become our portion oh. because we don pass 40 go front well well but nothing de to show say we be old nation

This kind independence when de like say we commot from frying pan enter fire!

We gained independence from the white and got enslaved by our very own old parents - it's a shame

As a person, if you just de had age yet you no de grow, no development de reach your side and  you no de do anything new, how people go see you? But na wetin our country done become so oh.

From today, tomorrow and some few days to come, our media go de field up with independent post after which everyone will go back to their silent mode. Na only God fit help us.

The labours of our heroes past don de almost become in vain and the worst part be say no be the white wan make their efforts fruitless, na we ourselves de spoil the country for ourselves

Gone are days when independent was fully celebrated by everyone with great joy in there heart but now due to hardship and suffering the government has subjected us to, almost everybody has shown no concern about the independence today, our government is just like a step, when a present government is not doing well we wish the next government to be better than the past but when they enter, they become more worster than the one we were praying to leave so that's the circle the citizens are suffering but one thing is for sure Nigeria our home and no matter how a mother will beat a child at last the child always come back home because he or she has no other place to find a comfort but her home, so regardless we would always celebrate the independent.

• You can still afford to have access to the internet. Meaning, there is not censorship. You have access to the outside world.
• We are still better than some other countries where civil war is ongoing.
• You have access to electricity, good water, and food.
• The youths of the country are becoming politically conscious, aware, and are challenging the status quo.
• There's more ways to earn money other than waiting on the government to create jobs or even private companies for employment.
• There is hope.

Which kind 63 fruitlessness be this, God abeg this independent was so damn this country con turn another thing, people no want gree celebrate there fathers land again, i wonder how this country take dey favor some people  to the the extent that they are celebrating the 63 independent, even for my side today person don kill  himself some injured all in the name of celebrating independent. It is in great disbelief that Nigeria is at 63 and we are still crawling like a newborn country that has no direction or purpose by her mothers. Em d very heartbreaking sae our leaders can't boldly boost of how good them be to the  people wey dem d lead so since our independence day till now. Happy New Month to all and wish everyone well and also wish Nigeria a happy Independence Day day, this is supposed to be well celebrated but even looking at the challenges and the hardship people are going through, a prayer was said for the country and people are still hoping for the best. to some extent, I feel we were giving independence early and our politicians were eager to possess power just because of greed all this problem did not start today started during the military regime and the worst so far is democracy, they said is a government of the people and people are not giving the chance to show how they feel it clearly shows that things are not working. all we can do is wish for the best. men the hardship is increasing seriously.

I really agree with you because been alive to witness today as naija @63 is a moment  of joy, so many plan for see today but they did witness it, so we have heavy right to be happy.

You are also correct here, despite the naira rate against dollars we can still buy data comfortably with less than ₦1000, and the freedom of accessing every part of the world.

Despite our suffering, naija is still a best place to live in, reason for my statement is that there is freedom, we move freely to any where we like. Is only those experiencing civil war can relate to this.

Sorry sir, I disagree with you here because I don't see the electricity, good, and food you are talking about, I been they search for all you mentioned above but I couldn't find them, true be told we they suffer for all this you mentioned as if they are all imported, in this aspect our leaders has failed us, at this age we are still suffering.

• The youths of the country are becoming politically conscious, aware, and are challenging the status quo.

Because they are using us to enrich themselves, they approved a bill "not too young to rule" but the old once are pushing us away. When they called youth we know they are playing polites, so our awareness is still question because youth do not have even 30% say in naija polites. In this aspect they have failed.

• There's more ways to earn money other than waiting on the government to create jobs or even private companies for employment.

We just have to force ourselves to survive because government do not care about us, countries with good leader also have companies and other ways of earn too. In Nigeria company works are still treated as slave, leaders do not show any concern about the wages they pay their citizens, in a company some will work for 12 hours and end up getting ₦1500 not even up $2. Please are they been fair.

• There is hope.

We shouldn't give up, each an every citizens should serve as good ambassador of the country, we don't have the opportunity today but tomorrow by God's grace we will make a difference, we should all have this at the back of our mind.

100% reason to appreciate the state of Nigeria as it call for revolution and awakening to reality. All the advance countries in the world today are older than Nigeria, they have gone through series of hard and bad time. The lurk we have in Nigeria now, is that we are in technology age where we can easily hit transformations and live a better life which I believe can happen befor the next independence. It took many years 4 advance country to cross to where they are today. In one of my post on this local board, I wrote say make we wise up for Africa, make we collect our full dominion because we still dey under the slavery of the people wey say Dem don live us, this one wey we dey celebrate so that the one wey be say Dem no dey over us directly.

If Dem steal money for naija, no be oyinbo country Dem carry Dem go, take build companies for them?.

Even though the country hard, reason still dey to celebrate. The fact say we never dey fight war na enough reason to celebrate this independence. Yes our leaders no dey try but at least we never turn refugee for our own land. We dey see how nations way dey suffer terrorist attacks dey be, it’s not nice at all. At least we no dey live in fear say bomb go explode for your house or workplace anytime.
