No be everybody de stay for environment when de noisy o! Some people, the only time them de get such experience na when they go market or when trafik meet them for road otherwise environment like residential areas no really de noisy sha.

But for the average man when de stay for public compound still de sell inside market come de go all this our public school when get plenty crowd, our ear no get choice but to adapt to those noise I

I remember when I been de 100 level for school, more than a thousand persons will be learning in a small auditorium and the lecturer wont even be using mic. The noise go just frustrate you but with time you just have to adapt to the whole stuff

Omo no be small thing ooo, me sometimes na middle of the night I dey like do my things when Children don sleep off, or maybe I'll go out entirely to a quiet place or my office. My brother me I no like noise oh I swear I like place wey dey calm and quiet so weytin I do be say, I Rent house for area wey I know say noise no dey like estate, wey I dey stay no noise the only noise wey I dey get na Sunday service from one church and secondly if NEPA no give light den na Gen noise you go get but the noise no dey last for long, because Power dey always come. So na my own part be this for where I dey stay.

OP in times of noise is totally depends on the environment you domiciled, there are environment that are very quiet and free from noise, in times children I believe we are not all married women and men here and even if we do it shouldn't distract you from concentration you can as well settle there needs first before going to work, or preferably look for nani that will take care of them while you comcetrate.

So far as bitcointalk is concerned, noise is highly prohibited because this forum requires so much focus and concentration to be able to give quality ideas that will help one another in this community.

Even if you stay in a noisy environment, there are ways to handle cases in a noisy environment like when ever you want to concentrate on the forum you move out from your area of residence and go to places where there is no noise maybe a friends place or rather you will mainly operate during the evening hours or midnight when every where is calm and quiet.

This forum is very sensitive as any mistake one makes might jeopardize their level of trust so it is important that one disengage from whatever that will distract one's attention whenever on the bitcointalk

Bro, first of all Bitcointalk no be anybody business although I no go deny the fact say e get some privileges wey we be Bitcointalk users dey enjoy and that's the earnings we get from all these signature campaign participation but that's doesn't mean some of us actually makes it our primary job.

Well about noisy neighborhood, it's not a new thing although my remedy to this is simply just posting when am actually back from work during late hours, that's late in the night but sometimes I actually post during the day when am comfortable enough and also during morning hours before my actual working hours.

Also this complaint is not actually for everyone because not all neighborhood are actually noisy, because their are some place and neighborhood where is their absolutely serenity to noise pollution, you can take for example living in an estate or building complex where the regulation to noise pollution is strictly prohibited.  You can relate better if actually you live or stay in a neighborhood just like BONNY ISLAND in rivers state .

You are right dear. There are people living in noisy areas and there those living in a noiseless areas. The majoy source of noise should be business activities like those living close to market, main road and industrial area. Anoher source of noise is generators for those living where light is not steady.

Noise is a problem in Nigeria but I wouldn't call it emergency because there are less industries here... the sources of noise in have in Naija are manageable.

If I even dey area wey noise dey, and I wan work I no dey fit think well, I dey like do work for silent places due to distraction, but some people no care about noise, dem fit adapt to any environment wey dem dey, and some people don dey use to noise already, so dey go fit leave normal for environment like that, and e no go affect them in any way.

@ OP, I am think the forum no dey experience any noisy pollution but as for the environmental noisy pollution on how it affects our  every day lives is quite alarming as it attracts distractions specifically to those who are not able to get focused on their endivoirs in noisy environments.

Often I experiences difficulties when I sit my head to contribute to technical matters including being on the forum here as a cause of noisiness.

My battle with noise pollutions are...

Anywhere wey noise dey distractions must dey and if you are distracted there comes inability to creative thinking.
Normally must dey for naija, for me personally wey dey stay for compound wey kids plenty e no easy at all, so I do my thing at nights when everybody dey asleep. What I do is, I go through this platform and pick some topics, do my research on them, write my opinions and thoughts down on my notepad and save them. Then I do my posting anytime during the day, I also hide myself from the kids at nights and do my thing too.

OP, I appreciate you for bringing this kind of thread here, I must tell you, it has not been easy with most of us that live close to all you mentioned, but they are not to be blamed, because there is no law restricting them from doing somethings, even though there are laws to this effect who is going to supervise it, money managers I guess, there is school and a church close to my house, most times when we talk about this things, you will notice that Nigerian are very dramatic and religious freak, they will start defending there numerous churches not also putting into consideration that you are also a Christian too, the noise coming from this school is not something anyone will like to experience, including the church, this church has activity almost everyday, children at home will also come up with there own noise, you wouldn't know what to think and what to live, if anyone survives in Nigeria, there is no country of the world that you will not cope.

   Nigeria normally is filled with noise. We begin the day with noise and end it with noise.The atmosphere breathes out noise. Areas dey wey dey serene no doubt buh 90% of the country is noise. Just imagine place like Lagos, there's a reason why Dem call am city wey no dey sleep; even around 1am people still dey run dey run business not to talk of the bus parks d place they always day busy 24/7 you go wake up with noise for morning still come for night generator from your neighbor fit wan tear your ear. 
   These noises dey cause heat and pollution too. The environment no fit dey conducive with the noise wey dey. Nothing wey anybody fit do about am, na to jus live with the noise and then find fun in it too. Na the scope of survival be that. The good thing be say, the noise no jus dey disturb buh e dey help keep the country lively too.
